The Londoner At Morritt's Tortuga Club

This hotel met all my expectations. Excellent location for a family trip!

We reserved a room and had to pay an extra $10 a night for room, AND even more ridiculous we had to pay for AIR CONDITIONING..... Never go to this resort again. Far from all attractions,40 minutes from airport, no elevators, n the beach facing this property hella dirty...

Enjoyed our stay. Room was dated but served the purpose of our diving trip.

Had a great time at Morritts. Location is excellent - at East End away from all the crowds - you will need a rental car to get around to other sites.

The experience as a whole was fun, beyond their control was two bad days of weather, but overall it was a solid average trip at the resort. Can't say anything bad about the resort, but can't say anything stellar as well. The beds were not comfy and the staffed seemed to lack any real personality when we even tried to engage them, but the location and the east side was definitely more appreciated from the hustle and bustle of the west side.

The room was quite large , spotlessly clean with new towels each day , cleaned AND tidied up including my stuff scattered all about . The location is quiet - it is a 30 to 45 minute drive to Georgetown . The beach is gorgeous . There is EXTENSIVE building going on but I never heard a sound . And it did not affect me in anyway . The Spa was 30 feet from my unit (3119) and a 1 hour massage was reasonable and exacytly what I pay in S.C. This was a GREAT deal - I will be back soon .

We had a blast in Morrits. It was our first time in Cayman Islands. We stayed in an ocean front one bedroom suite. The beach and the dock was breath taking. The room came with a full size kitchen with pots and all utensils. We enjoyed the ocean, proximity to rum point and the local down to earth restaurants. There were three pools and we loved the infinity pool. The staff were friendly and we enjoyed the evening activiities at the hotel too. It was 40min drive from Georgetown and we were fine with it.

Many newer facilities nearby but where we stayed is showing its age but still nice. Great pools. wonderful location - except for how far away it is from airport.

Entire visit was average. Nothing remarkable to report.

Have stayed here before and will again. Love the more quiet atmosphere, yet plenty to do if you want to. Nice to have a car while here so you can explore this end of the island. If you want R & R, this is the place! David's is an excellent place to eat!

This hotel was away from the action. It has amenities, but no crowd. There are nice places to eat at Morritt's as well as interesting restaurants nearby. The pools were well staffed and appointed. It's a drive from town, but worth the relaxation.

We extended our timeshare week. Wanting Oceanfront is expensive, but this find was perfect.

Not Great Management and Service, Lack of Entertainment but so Wonderful Snorkeling

I felt this hotel had pros and cons. Pros; the snorkling was amazing! The room I had was nice right on the beach. Ate at the restaurnat and the food was good. Cons; the hotel is far away from the other resorts and restaurants and a taxi is needed to travel, which is very expensive.

We had a pool side room which was great for the kids 7 and 10. They both can swim so we could just sit on our patio and watch them. There were quite a few kids there. The pool also had a swim up bar with 2 for 1 from 4 to 6PM. The area around the pool has ample tables with umbrellas and lounge chairs. The beach also had huts for shade and plenty of beach chairs. The water is very calm and the snorkeling was the best. Just under the dock there were hundreds of different types of fish. We would highly recommend the Morritt's Tortuga. Only thing to remember is that eating out on Grand Cayman does get pricey.

We enjoyed the time spent there. Lots of places to go swimming, pools clean, hot tubs were too. Towels were always available, as were poolside, and oceanside chairs. Food was reasonably priced and came hot and tasty. The staff was always courteous and helpful. They charge extra for wi-fi, and energy charges, but the amounts were around $100.00/week for both, nothing too outlandish I guess. Overall very relaxing, and decent value. We will do it again.

Morritts Tortuga was conveniently located to the snorkeling places we wanted to go to. We preferred the northeast end so much better than the west end. The accommodations were good, clean, and quiet (at the time we stayed) . The overall trip was relaxing. The food at David's was delicious but the prices were higher than expected. Would definitely go back again.

We are divers and used Ocean Frontiers, 2 miles down the road. The unit we stayed in at the Morritt's Tortuga was really nice. We only stayed one night while waiting for our timeshare unit at the Morritt's Grand. They moved our luggage & groceries over to the unit we had for two weeks. It was a seamless move.

Know that to fully appreciate this location you need a vehicle ~ property is lovely, people/staff very friendly and helpful and a great place to stay!

friendly staff, best view in the world, extremely clean rooms
