Very nice simply located hotel. Clean basic rooms. Nice staff. A little far from the action of 7 mile beach but close to golf.

Staff was very friendly and tried to be helpful. Only one restaurant and it was ok for a nice bite to eat by the pool. Pool is very small, other pictures are deceiving especially by the angle it's taken on. The beach is there to walk on. You really can't lay out and if traveling with children, not a great space to entertain them. Location is not nearby any other hotel property. Lots of chickens and iguanas on property or nearby. Again if on a budget, this works well. We went to local super markets cost u less and foster's to get breakfast and lunch items and went out for dinners. We rented a car and that was best to get to Georgetown, turtle farm, dolphin encounter, and camana bay.

The pictures on the website were very misleading. Everything at the resort needed some upkeep and looked run down. The wifi was terrible and it is difficult to get anywhere off property. However, the staff, Alexandra in particular, were very friendly and helpful. They were the only redeeming quality to this hotel.

I dont like the way they do the restaurant when u pay with us money u should get us money back!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice hotel off the main path. Hotel provides a shuttle to the main strip if needed.

It was a nice hotel. I wish it was closer to more restaurants and Buying food in the hotel restaurant is a bit pricey.

If you love yourself and your family then come to this hotel to recharge and get balance again. R&R and jogging a long the road to stay fit for your family is a spiritual thing to do. Make sure you get a suite and eat the Red Snapper Sandwich at the Blue Iguana restaurant. Mike is a good manager who loves what he is doing. Tell him the retired cop from NYPD sent you.

We stayed in a king suite that exceeded most of our expectations… The only problem is this resort is on the bay side of Grand Cayman, and not the ocean side (we knew that) even with a car it's a little bit of a journey getting in/out. Staff was great, room was beautiful, the restaurant and bar were both fine, and I would definitely recommend this hotel

The holiday inn at Grand Cayman is a pleasant hotel. We got a suite at an affordable price, considering how expensive the hotels are on Seven mile beach. Great value for money! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who doesn't want to spend a fortune! The room is surprisingly massive and was very clean. The only downside is the beach/location. But I would def stay at Holiday Inn again if I return.

Cayman Island is a wonderful vacation spot. The island is very beautiful. I enjoyed the hotel very much. The room was large enough and I had access to the balcony overlooking the golf course and a little bit of the beach. The hotel is a bit far from the main attractions but if you are looking for quiet and relaxation then the location is perfect. Everything around the island is about 15 to 20 minutes ride from the hotel so it is not a big issue. I enjoyed the pool and the beach. The food was delicious in all the restaurant that I dined at. Awesome island vacation!

Amazing hotel staff. The guy who checked me in exceeded my expectations and made sure I had everything. He was great and I recommend this hotel to everyone! 5 stars from me

The hotel was great. The only thing we think needs to be fixed at the hotel was the wifi. It was so spotty and would drop the signal in the middle of whatever you were doing. The island has so much to offer and the diving was wonderful.

We stayed 10 days and 9 nights, clean and confortable, quiet. Best beaches though are at Seven miles, you save $$$ staying here though but rent a car, places are not at walking distance.

Loved the seclusion feel, yet close enough to drive to the crowds. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I can't wait for my next visit. I had a wonderful time !

Right at check - in we requested a quiet room and were upgraded to an excellent suite, which was perfect for us. Keep in mind that this Hotel is out of the way and a car is highly suggested. Also it is on the windy side of the island, for us it was just fine as you could lie out in the sun and not get over heated. One other note the gym was under repairs and not usable. The hotel is well laid out and the staff we very accommodating and friendly, we would definitely go back again..

As other reviews state, the hotel is challenging to find at first, especially since one cannot access the hotel from Crighton Drive because there is a steel gate that prevents entrance. We arrived at the hotel at 4 PM on Sat., 12/28 and expected to check into our room. The room was not ready. In fact, it was well after 7 PM until we could get into the room. The front desk hotel staff tried to accommodate us by providing a complimentary dinner certificate, but after traveling for quite a long time and the frustration of trying to actually get to the hotel, dinner is not what we wanted. The hotel itself was fine, although do not look for someone to clean your room before 4pm each day. Yes, if staying at this hotel, renting a car is a must!!!

Although some may feel that this hotel is "off the beaten path", to me, that is the reward you get for staying at this property. To wake each morning and walk/jog along the golf course road is so peaceful with the wildlife that you may not see back home, does not feel like a workout. The staff, especially the front desk, always greets you with a smile. The gardener keeps the property so nice with flowers and plants in full bloom. The rooms are extremely clean with all amenities that are needed. It is a 5 minute or so drive to 7mb. 7MB is wonderful!!

The hotel is a typical Ramada, but in a great location. Open bay views and adjacent to a golf course. The beach is a disappointment as it has a rough coral surface and is shallow. The area scuba diving and jet skiis are the ebst.

The Grand Caymanian Resort is 5 minutes off the "beaten path" by car, but that is why I chose this hotel. I enjoy starting my day by walking thru the golf course road among the iguanas, roosters and chickens and the other wildlife(birds) that I do not get to see/enjoy back home. After a day spent sunning and beaching it on 7MB, I enjoy returning to the hotel to sit on my balcony and overlook the water without hearing the traffic of West Bay Rd. This hotel is exceptionally well maintained. The grounds outside have beautiful flower gardens. The pool is lovely. The rooms are very clean! Towels are plentiful, radio, alarm clock, dvd etc., hair dryer, kitchenette all in the room. There is a restaurant on site, although I have only had appetizers there. Staff is exceptional from gardener to mainenance crew, security staff. Alicia, Clarence, Ian, Jodian, Sharlene (all at the front desk) go above and beyond to be hospitable and welcoming and to start and end your day with a smile. Wonderful staff, wonderful hotel. *Definently rent a car** Bring bug spray- mosquitos are hungry** 7MB is absolutely beautiful this time of year- the water temp. is perfect!

This is my 4th stay at Grand Caymanian. They have really improved the facilities. The beach area is looking fabulous. The second building is now open and I toured two style rooms. Beautiful, condo style look to them overlooking the beach. Real nice!! The hot tub was working and crowded at all times, day and evening. You do need to rent a car if staying at this property as it is about a 5 minute drive from 7MB. I enjoy this property as it is quiet, clean and the staff very hospitable.
