The Norris Inn has become the butt of many a family joke. We call it "The Norris Experience". It is now synonymous with accommodations that are beyond the pale. When we got there and asked to see the rooms we would be in, the (nice) Chinese lady clerk who didn't speak English very well said, "You can see it but you can't get your money back". That was our cue that "The Norris Experience" was going to be important touchpoint in our collective futures. Yes, it is a dump. That being said, the sheets were clean and the mattress was surprisingly comfortable. It is a one story, wood-frame, old-fashioned motel. When someone in a room along the entire line of rooms walks across the floor it could be heard by every other room. Rickety -- and just hope there isn't an amorous couple next door to you, or a teething child as the walls are paper thin. While we could not recommend "The Norris Experience", we left the next morning clean and dry and full of laughter.

The bed sheets had white stains and the three towels that were provided had black stains on it. The AC unit also didn't work. Floors were dirty and they didn't provide shampoo and conditioner.

The room was over priced for the amenities that were provided. The proximity to our destination for the day was excellent. Right off the interstate.

Williams is a small town that's quiet and quaint. The hotel was easy to find. Down the street from Denny's. They room had a microwave and a refrigerator. An older hotel but clean. Too cold to swim the pool is very small. Rented 2 Queen beds they were hard and springy. The bedroom is quite spacious. Overall satisfied with the hotel. The owners don't speak much English.

Although my expectations of this motel were not high - its a budget friendly place - I was expecting it to be clean. We checked in and were notified that there's an additional $10 charge since we had our dog with us - no big deal but when we opened the door to our room we were overcome with the stench of urine. I think every dog that has EVER stayed at this motel peed in this room. The mattresses were about as cheap as they come, the comforters felt like they had never been washed and looked like it too and the TV was from 1982, maybe 1983. We basically turned around and left. Can't imagine that any of the other rooms were in any better shape.

Very old and dated but did not expect any thing more than it was.

This is a very basic hotel that in our opinion is not worth the rate requested. We had two very uncomfortable evenings of sleep in a small queen size bed.

Small rooms, hard uncomfortable beds. Over priced for old out dated rooms. Left a night early. Staff didn't understand or speak English clearly

This hotel is not a place you would want to stay at especially when your room is facing the Comfort Inn. My mistake was to try to save money on a night that was so important, my 5th Wedd. Anniv. This is not a place to be intiment. I didn't even feel comfortable laying my head on the pillow. I layed on my jacket. When booking this hotel I was only thinking of the savings, but for another $30 more I could of stayed at the Comfort Inn (but I don't think they are dog friendly). The only great thing about this hotel is that it was dog friendly. The front desk was not very freindly, and the continental breakfast were the small lil Hostess powder donuts. We only stayed one night, we went onto see the Grand Canyon then onto Sedona. Super 8 is also reasonalbel and nice.

If you're on your way to the Grand Canyon this is a nice town to stop in - there are plenty of hotel options but this fits into the budget nicely if a bed and shower are all you need. The staff was pleasant and it's pet friendly.

I guess it was fine except there are almost no outlets that are grounded (in other words, tough to plug your computer in). Also, wireless was pretty hard to connect to. But if you're looking for a fairly clean place to sleep close to the awesome Grand Canyon, it works.

Dire need a remodel. Pink tile is all the ambience you get. This is a place to sleep while traveling.

This motel is very basic and lacks amenities like a coffeemaker and hairdryer in the room. The continental breakfast was a joke and would only feed a sugar-starved mouse. The location outside Williams was good and the motel was quiet. A good motel for backpackers and cyclist, but bring your own breakfast !

I would not stay there again. The location was too far from the Grand Canyon.

Mainly stay there for grand canyon hiking...did not really care about the motel...room just OK, you can here the noise while stepping onto the old wooden floor...AC/heater fine, shower head gives small water flow, but still tolerable

For the past 20 + years I have traveled to Williams, AZ several time a year. In that time I have stayed in many of the local motels. Americas Best Value Inn is not the newest or does not have the largest rooms but the rooms are always clean, the beds sleep as well and the continental breakfast is the same as the rest. Best of all it's at the west end of town and is much more quiet and peaceful then the others. Friendly managers, good night sleep, low cost. When in Williams this is were I stay.

I booked through Orbitz for $53/nt. When I got there the clerk said it would be $79/nt. When I handed her my receipt, she got rude and wouldn't honor the reservation and flatly demanded $79. I went down the road and will never go back there for the duration of my project (couple nights a week for 6 months)

i was their for rest after a long drive from las vegas to grand canyon south rim.

Stayed here on our visit to the Grand Canyon. About 60 miles south and a scenic ride to the Canyon. For the money its a great stay if all you want is a place to rest your head. The rooom did have a mini-fridge, microwave oven (both came in handy)and cable TV. Offered coffee and donuts in the morning. Which was enough for my wife and I to get us started in the morning. The only drawback was the bed. The mattress was somewhat uncomforable but exceptable for a short 2 night stay. If you go there to see the Grand Canyon, I recommend staying here, if you're there for the motels, then I'm sure you can find fancier.
