Super basic hotel room with thin towels. Beds were comfortable enough, pillows too. Blankets have seen better days but they keep you warm. The A/C unit cools the room, the TV works, nothing wrong yet not luxury. Just basic, good enough if all you plan on doing is sleeping. Really good location. Quiet. Excellent wifi.
My fiancé and I stayed here for a night before going up to the Grand Canyon in the morning. The air conditioning smells like feet, the sheets are some what ripped and have stains, the beds are hard and the showers are not meant for tall people.
Flagstaff was the beginning of our Route 66 trip. It concluded at the Santa Monica Pier. We selected this Hotel because of the rating other members of TripAdvisor wrote about. The Hotel was Fantastic. The people working there made the process of checking in, superb. It is located in a great section of the city with eating places close by.
It's what you expect from this sort of budget hotels, clean, simple and conveniently located. It's not far away from central Flagstaff, 20 minutes walk, 7 minutes drive. The reception staff was friendly and helpful, they suggested a very nice restaurant for dinner. I'd go back if in the area again
Was booked here for a 5 night visit to flagstaff. Upon check in I knew I couldn't stay more than one night. Room very cramped and tiny. No way would my 3 kids and I function in there. Very basic budget hotel. Zero amenities and I can't believe they charge over $142/night. Are they serious!?!? With the pool in the middle of the parking lot? Disgusting smokers right outside my door while I was unloading my car. No thanks. I cancelled my reservations immediately and booked The Little America Hotel instead for a extremely pleasant visit to Flagstaff. We skipped the free breakfast. Not appetizing at all. If you like crappy carbs for breakfast then you'll enjoy. I will avoid all econo lodges if this is what to be expected. I will say though, the staff at the front desk was pleasant.
Great place to stay, rooms are comfortable and staff are very friendly!!!! We had a group of 24 and everyone was satisfied!!! Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone traveling this way!!
To me this motel is a bit pricy for for what I wpuld consider a budget motel. Rooms were small, but well furnished and clean. Pool was nice. I guess my biggest complaint would be the towels in the room. They were very thin and worn, even the pool towels were so worn the blue stripe on them was faded. Complimentary breakfast was ok, only hot selection was microwave oatmeal, well that and toast. Anyway, the room was quiet with a good selection of tv channels. This motel served the purpose of 2 good nights sleep and that was about it. There were several festivals in town so even the motel 6 was over $100 per night.
Stopped here after a day at the Grand Canyon, before moving on to Hoover Dam. Very basic accommodations, but very clean. Suited our family of 7 in two adjoining rooms very well for our budget. Breakfast was pretty basic as well, and coffee wasn't so great. But overall, good budget option.
I was skeptical when my fiance I booked a one night stay at Econo Lodge to attend a friend's wedding in Flagstaff over the weekend. However, as soon as we arrived, we were impressed with the friendly customer service and the nice room. The room was small but it has pretty much everything we needed: a comfy king size bed, a small fridge, small office desk and chair, one single sink, bathroom, cable tv, wifi internet and a very powerful AC that had me curled up inside the blanket comfortably all night. For approximately $100/night it was well worth the money. The only thing I would recommend for this hotel to improve is to invest in some better quality towels and toiletries. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here and will definitely come back.
We had a room with two queen beds. The room was very compact, but it had everything we needed. The sink area is outside of the bathroom, which makes sharing easier. The room was clean. Beds were comfortable. Nothing fancy but nothing lacking either. The location was perfect. We didn't use the pool, which was small and in the middle of the parking lot. It looked clean but had no shade. We did not find the hotel to be particularly noisy. The breakfast was pretty basic. Toast, muffins, cold cereal, instant oatmeal, yogurt, coffee and juice. Everything was fresh. I was disappointed to see that there was "spread" packets but not real butter for the bread.
