We drove there which is not are driving into a controlled central area. However you make the call from a box in front of a metal bollard that sinks into the ground. We booked the hotel car park at 20 euros a day. After checking in a member of staff takes you down a very narrow alleyway. They open a secure metal gate at right angles to the alleyway. It takes a lot of backing and forwarding but it is secure car parking so worth it. Our room was on 3rd floor. Lift. Very nice room with 2 floor to ceiling windows with Juliette balconies overlooking Nueva square. The views and sounds of the square in the day were lovely. However at night until the early hours of the morning there was shouting from the inebriated. The restaurant was nice and the breakfast was good.

Hotel sits right on the plaza nueva next to many restaurants and there’s a little market across the street for snacks, water, ect. Plenty of shopping to do and isn’t far from hotel. The Alhambra is straight up from hotel about 15 min walk very easy to get there a bit of an uphill climb. Beautiful serene walk so soak it in! Room is decent and clean; WiFi is strong and reliable. The hotel is a bit outdated but has everything you need really. The bed is super comfy and firm as I like. The staff were very nice and courteous helped me get around. I didn’t find too many things to do here other than Alhambra Palace so 2 days was perfect for me-Barcelona is next can’t wait!!

A very good, clean and comfortable hotel in the cenre of Granada close to everything, including walking distance (all uphill) to the Alhambra. Loads of local tapas bars and restaurants and near to the main shopping area and the old town.

We arrived in Granada on a bus and took another bus to city center, very close to this hotel. There is some work going on in the side street and the entire street is closed except a very narrow footpath. We were not happy dragging the suitcases through that and were little irritable when we finally arrived at the hotel. The things changed after that. The check in was smooth, the person at reception very helpful. The rooms are extremely charming and decent sized. The furniture looks like it is set up in a guest bedroom by a very thoughtful host in his own house. The room had 3 huge windows opening on to little balconies which offered great view of the Plaza Nueva. Bed is very comfortable and the entire ambience is just so welcoming and fresh. The breakfast is adequate. Staff is very polite and is ready to offer help all the time. The downside is- Rooms do not have any tea coffee facility. There is also no water provided by hotel. You need to buy water from nearby shops.

My cousin who lives in Bilbao recommended this hotel. Said it was an incredible value, and she was right. The hotel is in a perfect location and reasonably priced. The beds were the tempurpedic-type mattresses and really, really comfortable. The room was on the small side, but updated and nice. The bathroom was updated and had a great shower. The big plus was the hotel's staff--pleasant, helpful and professional. Can't say enough good things about the people who work at the hotel.

Less than a minute walk from Plaza Nueva, this hotel is conveniently located. The construction going on in the side road spoils the look and makes the access a bit awakward. The lobby feels congested. The rooms are fine. You can have fresh breakfast when at the hotel.

we were a bit disappointed. Didn't sleep very well because of the noise outside. Found the room smelly. The foampillows not very nice and also giving a smell. I organised myself the extra pillow with my towel around so I had something clean to sleep on. The recommended bistro (Torres? or something) not very nice. The food was not great and the service in a hurry. They take your plate before it is empty. Sorry to say, but we will not recommend it. The much cheaper stay in Cordoba was nicer.

If you were to stay in this hotel, it'd be for its location - located right on Plaza Nueva, it's spectacular to step out and be right in the magic of Grenada. You're far from starved from fantastic choices for tapas, nightlife, and culture (pro tip - the starting point for free City Walking Tour very close to the hotel; it's well worth the two and a half hours). If you're up for exercise, it's incredibly nice walking to Alhambra from the hotel as well! Unfortunately, in terms of the accomodation itself, it's passable & liveable, but not something to remember fondly of - the hotel is still stuck in the 50s, and a renovation is sorely needed. The beds were sufficient, but the bathroom was starting to fall apart, and there was a slight stench of sewage that had to be heavily ventilated out before we could get sleep. It's an otherwise decent budget choice - but know what you're booking into, and take advantage of its awesome location!

Stayed here for one night in August, hotel is perfect, right on the Plaza Nueva (as the name would suggest) and with easy walk of everything you could want! Rooms were a good size, good air con and very clean. Staff were great, really helpful with restaurant suggestions and just all round friendly. We used the hotel car park (€20) which you can't get into on your own but we pulled up nearby by and one of the staff got in the car and directed us. Would definitely stay here again either with friends or as a couple.

Trip Advisor Hotel, Granada. What a well placed hotel this is in Central Granada, a short walk from the bus to the Alhambra. There are any number of authentic bars and restaurants close by in the narrow almost pedestrian lanes, nicer we thought than the well publicised streets of tapas bars. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms, whilst modest in size, are comfortable and clean, the shower, over a bath, always provided plenty of pressure and heat. Breakfast is optional and reasonable value for €6. As is often the way we got excellent rates, compared with the walk-in price, by booking well ahead. If you have booked parking you will need help from the staff to locate and open the underground garage, in a narrow street a block away. Would we go back? Without doubt.
