We are on our last night of a 7 night visit to this hotel. Our first ever time in Gran Canaria. This hotel is superb..... no other word for it. The staff our very friendly and helpful. The room is spacious with a wonderful view. The food is excellent and so is the wine. The adult-only infinity pool is absolute bliss. The car park is spacious and secure. The two golf courses are well-maintained and challenging. Our balcony is well-furnished and private. We have, as a consequence of the above, decided to return again for 7 day’s in February 2018. Thank you to all the staff at this hotel for giving us a memorable holiday.

A wonderful and very relaxing 7 day holiday in the winter sun The views were amazing; nice walks around the quiet valley Nice friendly staff and the extras were good value The service and the room were fabulous Plenty of clean mostly infinity pools to swim in The dinner was good not great but there was plenty of choice

Best personell ever! You can find nice hotels all over the world, but you probably dont find this service! Wathever you need, they will be there to help. Food also fantastic. We love this place. 🍻🎉👍🍺🍷⛳️🍸😎😃

We have had a wonderful week at Salobre Sheraton hotel. Today you can travel around the globe, visit nice hotels - all with a full range of different facilities. But from my point of view is the ”differentiator” how the staff treat me as a customer. Meeting me smiling regardless time or subject, always ready for support, always ready to find a solution, always .... And the staff I talk about is the staff at Sheraton Salobre hotel, thanks for a week we always will remember!

We wanted somewhere quiet to allow my 40th to pass by with the minimum off fuss and some sunshine and the Sheraton was perfect. The hotel is situated in the middle of the golf course and wonderfully secluded. Our room had an easterly view so we watched the sun come up (8am in oct) most days and then headed to the 12th floor for the kids free pool. It's so quiet up there you find yourself whispering to each other which is hilarious. We hired the balinese beds for 2 days at €30 per day which includes a free bottle of Cava. They have bedside service and for a 5* we thought these were very reasonable. Make sure you take your own water to the pool. We were lazy and didn't buy it from the shop near reception for €1.60 for 2 litres. Instead we bought it every day all day beside the pool and spent over €100 on water at checkout 🙈🙈 The buffet food is outstanding. The best we've both ever had. Everything was so so fresh and the choice varied that we didn't get bored once. The pudding section should come with a health warning as they're so good I was gluttonous and generally has about 6 each sitting The gym has amazing views and although small is well equipped. My wife loved all the classes and did yoga every morning and another class in afternoon. I read 5 books put on weight and got a tan. Happy birthday to me! We will 100% return.

I absolutely loved the Sheraton. My husband and I flew to Gran Canaria for a five day trip where we would have a complete detox and paid on a half board basis. Much easier to eat a the hotel because there are not many choices close by. We had beautiful sunshine, incredible service and a lovely room that had everything we needed. There is no fridge which might have helped but not a major deal. The breakfast buffet was lovely - good, high quality ingredients but after a few days, can become repetitive if you are vegetarian like us. However, the minute you inform the waiters of your food preferences, they will really do their best to make something new for you each day! The dinner was a new cuisine each day so you do not get bored but again, great if you eat fresh fish and meat and lots of insane desserts :) The drinks are payable and can be expensive if you start to add it all up - even water is charged. Initially, we wanted a small quiet place and an international chain might not seem the obvious choice but the hotel was perfect - full and yet, no pools were over busy and chairs by the pool were always available. There are many pools and lots of spa activities - workshops and yoga sessions. The highlight of our trip was attending the spa activities - Alberto is an exceptional asset to the hotel and is truly one of the best team members - I'm pregnant and he did everything to adjust the yoga/meditation and aqua to help me out. All waiting staff were fabulous, and Lidia stood out at breakfast with her kindness and help. I would definitely come back here - a beautiful spot! Highly recommended.

I learned Sheraton Golf Resort in 2010 - since this time it is my favourite hotel. I stayed here 8 time and every time I could not stop enjoy the place, the architecture, the professional hospitality of the stuff, the stylish ambience of the hotel and the grandiose view on the hills. It's nice to see the good developments of the hotel/restaurant structure within the last years. I will not wright a lot here - I think that the best compliment is that I always come back here (in the meantime with my husband and our 2.5 years old daughter). We travel a lot, we always stay in the high segment hotels. So, I think we can compare... Sheraton Golf Resort - its the first and the only address in Gran Canaria for us. Thank you and see you in April 2018 again. Olga

I wanted a retreat from the world for a long weekend and that's exactly what I got. I'm not a golfer, so the main attraction of the resort was lost on me, however plenty of guests were there to enjoy the sun, pools, spa and relaxation. Staff were both incredibly professional and friendly - always asking if there's anything they can do to improve service (of which I had no suggestions). Two mistakes with my bill were quickly rectified and I didn't have to resort to any impassioned plea or produce excessive amounts of proof. The spa was heavenly with very professional masseuses and reasonable rates. Platinum members can use the facilities without having to pay the 25 euro daily rate. It was my first trip to the Canary Islands and I was quite taken with the ruggedness of the landscape contrasted with the luxury of the hotel. The architecture and cacti are enough to leave a great impression. One thing - I had reserved a king size bed and was disappointed that it was actually two twins pushed together. If it's not really a king, don't call it a king.

We had a perfect week here. Arrived Saturday late afternoon and had a warm welcome in the reception where we had a glass og sparkling wine and an explanation of the hotel and how to get around. We had room # 205 with a fantastic view over old course holes #11 and #12. The rooms are big and lots of space to keep your clothes, either on hangers or in drawers. Minibar, hairdryer and safe. There is a bottle of free water in the room everyday. Free coffee and tea facilities. We had half board the whole week and the food was really good. There was a new theme each night and so much to choose from that we were spoilt for choice. Also breakfast was a feast and perfect every day. We had the fortune of good weather so we spent the afternoons at the sunset pool located on the 11th floor. Wonderful spot and so lovely that it has only over 16 years old allowed, since this is a hotel with many non golfers, families and lots of children. There are pools on the 11th floor and also on the floors, 4,5,6 and 7 where children are allowed, so it is really nice to have a grown up spot. We had lunch one day at the 19th and had a perfect meal and the other days we enjoyed lunch at Sunset. We have to mention the perfect service of Pablo, Edison and Micheal De La Cruz they are such great staff, nothing is a problem and they make you feel very special. They each made our stay very special. We played a round of golf every day and really enjoyed the high service of the staff handling checkin, driving us to the first tee and service on course, every day was a pleasure. We had three rounds on old course and three rounds on new course. We defenitely preferred old course, which we enjoyed playing and it was easy to carry your bag around. We played new course because we had it in our package but a course I could do without to be honest. We would love to return and really enjoyed a week of golfing, good food and excellent service. I should not forget to mention the Gym, where I started out every morning. Very busy every morning and the equipment was new and well kept.

My husband and I have just come back from staying at The Sheraton Gran Canaria Golf Resort. The holiday has been superb and we are a couple that likes a very high standard. We usually Cruise with Celebrity at this time of year but as we are going with them in May 2018 on a Mediterranean Cruise we decided to do something that gave good weather but a shorter flight. We booked via My Mail with Inspired Escapes .The welcome we got from Caroline (and we were much later than expected through transport delay )was exceptional. She could not do enough for us and she had also arranged a cold meal in our room as the Restaurant closed at 10.00 pm .The room was Delux and just brilliant as the private veranda /Balcony lead straight onto one of the 7 Pools.Although The Hotel was 95%full all our stay because of its design you never felt children and guests on top of you in-fact we could not believe the Hotel was so busy.ALL the staff were exceptionally helpful and one who really stood out was Daniel in the Lunch Time Restaurant.Sunbathing in the Sunset area I felt I was sunbathing on deck 11 of a Cruise ship with the warm gentle breeze. The food was excellent .We were Half Board something we rarely do .Buffet breakfast was superb the choice was amazing and the evening a Buffet also and normally we hate Buffets and prefer Restaurants .One night we also used the A La Cate Restaurant and This was excellent .Normally we never go back to a place twice but I would To this Hotel. We are Business people and always use the Hilton group as I have there Gold Card but will also put the Sheraton group in our mix of Hotels in future.Normally I have just used the Sheraton for meals in their EDINBURGH one.I have also recommended this Hotel and Resort to my youngest son and family .Thank you ALL for a wonderful stay and re charging our batteries !
