My family and I (kids 10 and 5) stayed here last two weeks of July. We arrived a couple hours prior to check in however our room was ready and waiting so off to a good start.. the room whilst small was modern and well kitted out, the bathroom had a great walk in shower and the aircon was I've cold 24/7. The only down side was the rather small balcony and cheap plastic furniture on it. The grounds were lovely, well kept and everything needed to entertain everyone. The pool is great, very clean and a constant 30 degrees. The entertainment was cheesy but the kids loved and Dave (The flamboyant can-do entertainment guy) worked tirelessly to keep lots of kids very happy!! The highlight for us was the quality of the food in the restaurant, it really is top notch. Quality fresh food well served and reasonable prices - it's not cheap if that's what you want their are dozens of cheap restaurants nearby .. but none as good as the this. All in all a great holiday in a nice hotel and would definitely return.
Stayed with family. Got a last minute booking. From the moment we arrived in reception to the time we left we loved it here lovely staff in all areas from reception, bar, restaurant, cleaning staff and entertainment everyone was brilliant. Food in restaurant gorgeous. Apartment so spacious, comfortable beds and spotless. Welcome pack on arrival really nice touch. Nothing was too much for the staff hopefully we will get the chance to go back soon.
Really nice location and very impressive accommodation. This location sits between amadores and Puerto Rico with each location easily reach by paved walk way of less than 15 minutes in each direction. Rooms are cleaned daily and each self catering rooms comes with all relevant facilities to make your holiday that much more enjoyable. Taxi fares into town is very cheap and the local bus service is very regular.
The apartment was very clean and tidy. Not big, but excellent use of spaces. Bathroom and kitchen were very nice. Bedroom had a big bed and lots of space to store our stuff. Kitchen had everything we needed, from saucepans to salt & pepper. Dishwasher and washing machines were extras we were not expecting. The terrace facing the sea was amazing - perfect for aperitifs during sunset and for dinners. Puerto Rico beach and Amadores beach are both within 10 minutes walk. Can't rate restaurant as we did not use it at all.
Bahia Blanca was perfect if you want to lie on loungers, sunbathe, swim and relax. There were some activities for the kids each day and a railed-off paddling pool. There was evening entertainment on site and everything you could need from the supermarket, bar, snackbar and restaurant. Only downside was the 8.30-9am race to put towels on sunloungers. Puerto Rico itself is very touristy but the beach there and the beach at Amadores are only 10 minutes walk on each direction. Buses are frequent and cheap and little boats ferry you up and down the coast for about €7 single. Weather was perfect - 28 to 30 every day. Accommodation was beautiful , well equipped and cleaned daily. Staff were very helpful and well organised and spoke perfect English which helped when we had a power cut. Would definitely recommend so long as you aren't looking for a resort steeped in history.
Never disappointed come every year, food has massively improved so have the renovations, must say the new waiter Sergio Jesus was a delight to be around, hard working and very pleasant. No faults with Bahia Blanca pure luxury 👌
Good Convenient location between amodores and puerto rico beaches. Smack in the middle 10 min away Daily cleaning and towels except sunday Will even wash dishes for you Feels like resort in addition to apt as there are bars hokey activities and happy hrs from 5 to 6pm. Best deal is 2 pints at 2.8 euro then Clientelle main Brits and French..who stay for a week or 2... not sure how they can stay put so long and withou car. We were there night and were out 4 out of 6 from premise... only coming back for swim near 4 or 5pm Nice renovated aptmt. .modern..good uae of space with dishwasher .clothes washer too Sofa did pull out pretty big..like a queen.. didnt figure out pull out part properly till 2nd night. Didnt realize it became level after lifting up Wifi fast enogh for netflix Nice ocean views...great for breaky and dinners .... but no sunset view Lift actuallly worked while time we were there. They claim permanently fuxed now. Still always walked down from 2nd floor and half time waljed up as sooo slow to wait CON Terrece furniture for our unit was ratty faded and should have been replace 5 yrs ago.. even umbrella Pool way too crowded at times esp with kids Pool area so noisy. ...not relaxing place Towel game early in morning esp if you want umbrella Parking is free but odd time had to park at upper street which is steep so tricky for those non manual drivers There is europa mall 12 min walk up with tacky tourist restaurants but 2 min supermarket ...spar is nicer and cheaper than hiper dino Restaurnt food option is there but buffets looked dried out... go to Amadores instead.. still tourist food and pricer but not as pricey as puerto rico...tried ciao ciao for dinner ... pricey but good and good portions... also had bacon burger at el gerano which is good at 5.95 ..lunch only Over all good place but bit pricey at 200$ cdn per night or 125 euros per night in high season Still would recommend.... gloria hotel looked nice next door with prob more pools but prib pricier too
Spent three days in 2-bedroom appartment (nr. 109) with family. Enjoyed very much and would love to come back. Terrace was spacious with beautiful seaview scenery. Pool was extremely crowded and daily entertainment was bit noisy to us. Walked for swim along paseo maritimo to playa de amadores (500m) in the evenings at sunset. At arrival we had problems with air conditioner in master bedroom, but maintenance came very quickly and fixed it.
We recently stayed in a 'superior one bedroom apartment' and it actually exceeded our expectations. It was spacious, comfortable and well-equipped, with a sea view and a large balcony. The air conditioning was excellent! The resort was 'small and friendly', with a lovely pool, a good restaurant and a relaxed atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We look forward to returning soon!
Cake here for a week with some friends for a 50th birthday. We had a fabulous time and would definitely come again, we personally could have eaten every night in the restaurant we never had a bad meal and choice and quality of food was outstanding. Yes the lift didn't always work was a pain but it didn't really bother us that much. The only thing what ruined our last day was the snoty lady on reception we all put our towels on the sunlounger and went to order our coffees it took 45 minutes to get served as the ladies was covering the restaurant in the morning we pressed the buzzer a few times finely got our coffee to find the receptionist had taken our towels off and one was missing even though we explained why, she wasn't having any of it then took us another 45mins to pay which by now I was fuming we had no where to enjoy our last bit of sun and one towel down... this was the only thing really made me mad as there was loads of sun beds that day with towels on and nobody using them.... But it hasn't put us off and would go back... but I hope she isn't working there next time. We had room 411 lovely apartment lovely views x
