The whole of the Bahia Blanca Site occupies a fantastic position, with an almost 180 degree view of the Atlantic from all apartments. We stayed on the first floor, easy to reach via the Resort’s Funicular. The apartments have all been up-graded over the last few years, and include large double bed, with masses of storage space within the bedroom. There is a large bathroom with walk-in power shower, and a fitted kItchen area within the very comfortable lounge, with microwave, dishwasher and washing machine, and a large circular dining table. The comfortable bed-settee affords wonderful views of the Ocean, and their are regular ferries from Puerto Rico to Puerto Morgan, plus pleasure boats passing almost continually, so there is always plenty to see. There is a very good restaurant on-site, with reasonable prices for breakfasts each day, and main meals in the evening, plus a pool bar for all-day drinks and snacks. Their is a shop on site with limited but useful stocks, and the Resort Pool is heated, with an adjoining children’s pool. There are a plentiful supply of good quality sun beds for those who wish to sunbathe, and the weather from February through to June, then September through to October is normally very warm, with temperatures in the high 70 degrees for much of the time. The resort is usually very sunny, although clouds can drift over from time to time, but on all occasions we have visited Bahia Blanca, over a number of years, generally during March, we have rarely experienced any rain!! The resort has only two apartments that sleep six, all the others being sleep four, but with every day entertainment from the two resident animators, who concentrate on giving fun to the children, plus a show from around 9 until say 10.30 most evenings, it is not really necessary to leave the resort, although the two beaches of Puerto Rico, five minutes turning left, and Amadores, five minutes turning right, along the coastal walkway, are excellent if you like to bathe in the sea, or sunbathe on the beach. These two walkways also lead to many excellent bars and restaurants in the near vicinity, and the Ferry Trip to the beautiful port of Mogan is a must during your stay here. On Fridays, Mogan also has a large market all around the port for those who like to see what the local stallholders have to offer. All in all, we would recommend Bahia Blanca to anyone who wants a fabulous holiday, with a very strong possibility of very warm and sunny weather. We were there for two weeks during early March this year (2018), and we rarely saw even a whisky white cloud in the sky. It was really glorious. Ratings below do not work, but it is 5, 5, and 5. No complaints whatsoever

I stayed here for 4 nights with my family. The apartment that we got had a lovely view of the sea from the balcony where you sit and relax. In fact all the rooms in this apartment hotel have this view. The apartment is well equipped with fridge, microwave, stove/cooker, dishwasher, washing machine - you name it. On check in you are given a welcome pack of all the essentials including milk which was good. The shop also has anything else that you need - but it closes a bit soon for our liking. The staff is very friendly and they give you all the information that you need very patiently. The area as such is in a calm area than a happening place. If you prefer a calm area like us, then it is highly recommended.

I didn't stay in the main complex but in the Valley Apartments which overlook Puerto Rico beach. This is a quieter complex and some apartments here are full-time residential. We had a one-bedroomed apartment with a fantastic terrace. It was completely refurbished and both the apartment and the complex are spotlessly clean. Lots of steps to get to pool area but it didn't bother us. Fantastic location as it is quite near the Center with all the shops and bars and near Puerto Rico beach the other way. Very efficient lady, Ulrika, is there every morning to give assistance if needed. There were 3 of us staying here, 2 adults and 11 year old girl. She loved the pool as it was quiet most of the time and she had plenty of space! We had a brilliant, relaxing holiday here and we would definitely go back!

I cannot begin to compliment the staff of Bahia Blanca enough. Sitting in a taxi at 3 am, confirmation in hand, we discovered that booking.com had NOT made our reservation, and had sent us to the wrong address! We were both exhausted and concerned. But the staff at reception assured us to "come" - he had it worked out with his manager - and guided us to a beautiful room upon our arrival. Two other representatives at the desk -- most notably, Illrik were amazingly helpful and gracious. The resort was beautiful - white apartments tiered above the ocean. To see it would remind you of a Greek island... It would NOT be ideal for the physically challenged (WAY TOO MANY STEPS, even with the inclinator), but we had a beautiful room with a king bed, fold out couch and a large balcony overlooking the ocean. Although it was marketed as a timeshare resort, we were able to book it for just a few days.... It was remarkably clean, comfortable, and had a beautiful pool - and a restaurant on premise. There is a small workout facility, basketball court, sauna, and jacuzzi on the 7th level, but the jacuzzi was not working when we were there. I also cannot say enough about its location. We were originally to stay in Puerto de Ingles, but were so glad we did not. This was a much better location -- without the crazy hype of thousands of tourists in your face, a short taxi drive to the port area where we had FABULOUS food (4 Euros each way), and a better view than we could have afforded in the areas near the sand dunes. Across the road was an incredible coastal walkway leading to Puerto Rico - or to the beach in the other direction. The beach, Amadores - was a ten minute walk from the hotel along some of the most scenic area EVER! I believe it is the largest beach on the island with sand imported from the Sahara (?), clean, and friendly. Parasols and sunbeds were offered for rent, but we did fine just spreading our beach towels in the sand. Highly highly recommend this resort - and area!

Nice, clean hotel and apartment. Reasonable pool and staff all good. We were on the fourth floor so grateful for the lift as without that, could struggle with the steps. Apartment was nice and the outdoor space was lovely with great views. Restaurant was nice too. Reasonable prices. Be warned the bar goes bonkers for an hour 5-6 as it's happy hour. Slightly older clientele but not a major issue. Best thing was location. Mid point between Puerto Rico beach and Amardores beach. 5 minute walk each way and ideal to start.

The apartment complex is operated on a timeshare basis but available to book through online hotel agents and holiday companies although you may have to have a rep do a sales pitch one morning. The apartments are modern, clean, well maintained and very well appointed - oven, dishwasher, washing machine, iron and every utensil needed to cook a meal if you so wish. It was a nice touch to receive a welcome pack with a few essentials - bread, milk, tea/coffee. Everyone has a patio or garden with stunning views of the ocean and the layout ensures no one is overlooking your patio. At the bottom of the complex you'll find the pool area, shop, bar and restaurant. I found that both the bar and restaurant to be far better value than anywhere we visited in Puerto Rico and Amadores and the quality of the food was very high. Lunch will set you back about 6 euro's, evening meal about 15 euro's, beer 2.80 euro's. The small shop stocks enough for you to make snacks/lunches and again is similar in value to the Spar or HyperDino in PR without the walk. There is some evening entertainment but it is aimed squarely at the older guests and finished by 10pm - bingo, Flamenco dancing, singers covering 70's/80's music and sing along's with the guests. All in all, a good, quiet, relaxing break without any hassles - bearing in mind we visited off season.

They don't kid - the way is definitely steep at The Apartment Bahia Blanca! If the one lift is not working then it's a good climb and not good for anyone weak in the legs. The property is tiered up the cliff but the benefit of that is that everyone has a balcony or, in our case, a mini garden that has clear panoramic view out over the sea. Glorious! The apartment we had was a one bedroom with sofa bed, with small reasonably well appointed kitchen facility. It was clean and well decorated, probably been overhauled not too long ago, so quite contemporary in character. The main bed was very comfortable but ( and this the only 'complaint') the sofa bed was not. There was building work going on while we were there but it didn't interrupt our enjoyment on the fifth level. The restaurant was absolutely fine - we didn't have a duff meal while there - and the service was good. Can't wait to go back!

Nice room with dishwasher and washing machine. Sun-bed and table with chairs on the patio. Great ocean view. Nice pool and restaurant at the hotel. There is also a small grocery store. It's not fare to walk to the Amadores beach or to Puerto Rico.

Just got back home and missing it already apartments are fantastic and very clean staff are really helpful and nothing is to much trouble James who does all the entertainment is so helpful and always got time for you and is brilliant with the kids can't wait to go back

We stayed at the Bahia Blanca in Feb half term and we all had a great time. The apartments are spacious, clean and modern with the best views we’ve ever had on holiday. Bahia Blanca is situated in an ideal location and is just a short walk along the promenade to the centre of Puerto Rico. The entertainment is brilliant, Dave does an amazing jobs and all the kids just love him. Our kids aged 10,8 and 5 can’t wait to go back just to see Dave! The restaurant is lovely and the highlight of the pool bar is defiantly happy hour. Maria behind the bar is lovely and can’t do enough to help. I can’t recommend these apartment enough and we can’t wait to return!
