Great place to stay when arriving to Dublin - just 20 minutes from the airport but it's just far enough to get out of thetraffic and stay in a very friendly place
We traveled all around England, Scotland and Ireland and we finally stayed at this hotel on our last night. All of the other hotels we stayed at did not have A/C so we were really really excited to blast up the air and sleep comfortably. Comfy bed, updated bathrooms.
Booked a room months ago and requested a room that did not face the motorway. My room faced the motorway and the traffic noise was very loud all night. Buffet breakfast was terribly average and dining room staff were mostly absent. Decor was bland and unimpressive; most staff are simply polite, but not helpful in the least. If you're looking for a functional place to sleep while on a business trip this is the place for you; if you'd like to feel like a valued guest, go elsewhere.
Nice hotel. No shuttle service from airport to hotel so had to take a cab which was expensive. But did use hotel shuttle from hotel to airport the next day and it was very fast. So I don't think it's a good hotel for a lay over. All the staff from front desk to restaurant to shuttle driver were excellent and very helpful.
