Chose to stay at this location due to bad weather/travel. Booking was easy enough online. Value was around $150 for one night. Which was only that high due to an influx of fellow travellers with same idea on staying overnight to avoid dangerous roads. Check in was simple, clean room and comfortable bed. However the major issue with this hotel is you can hear everything. Everytime someone comes up the stairwell it vibrates into the room, super thin walls and we had issues with someone staying at the hotel, walking around and knockin on doors randomly. Now thats not the hotels fault but the noise was easily top three worst. If you have to stay, ask for a room away from the common walk ways. Terrible sleep. Could otherwise be a quaint and nice stay if not for the troublesome sleep.

After many years, tried a Travelodge again and was pleasantly surprised. This hotel provides excellent value for money. Room (suite) was completely redone and in excellent condition; loved the beds. Leisure facilities (pool, hot tub and sauna) were great. Complimentary breakfast was solid

An all around great accommodation experience. The great continental breakfast was a real bonus.

Our only complaint is the poor temperature control. It was literally 40c or more in the room when we arrived. An upgrade to the HVAC system in the rooms would be beneficial.

I like the hotel and I got the one with a kitchen. Kitchen was well equipped. Location was good and pool was good too. No issues with check in and out and breakfast was decent but the breakfast room was a bit small. I don’t like hard pillows so that would be only complaint. Can be easily rectify my bringing your own next time. Overall I would stay there again.

Loved the king size bed, attached kitchen and complimentary breakfast. Grandson loved the waterslide. Clean and quiet.

We choose to stay in Golden as a way of saving money while visiting Banff and Lake Louise. This motel was easy access and affordable. But I was taken aback at first. Sink in the bedroom, white walls, dents, construction guys smoking and drinking outside their units... gheese what did we do! But the motel is very quiet and comfortable: best nights in a while! Breakfast was good. Linen and towel clean and fluffy. It had less charm than a victorian B&B, but in the end, we liked it!

Stayed here as a base to travel the surrounding area. Basic rooms that are clean with a reasonably comfortable bed. Bathroom was clean but a bit dated. Pool is a nice addition but money could be better spent elsewhere. Rooms are noisy due to poor sound insulation, road noise and the carpark right in front of the rooms. They need some descent double glazing. The fridge in the rooms is also very loud. The breakfast was basic but ok for the money. Unfortunately the room is far too small for the number of guests though. The worst thing by far is the use of disposable cups, plates, plastic glasses and cutlery in the room and at breakfast. The amount of non-recyclable waste produced at breakfast is shameful. Proper china, glasses and metal cutlery would go a long way to improving this. Using disposables like this in an area of such outstanding natural beauty is disgraceful.

The room was clean and comfortable. Reasonably priced with a free breakfast. Friendly staff . The place was quiet a good stop over on a long journey. Close to a decent bbq smokehouse restaurant just around the corner

Looking around Golden for hotels that were reasonably priced was tough. We booked in here and were very surprised with how clean and friendly the staff were. We had a quiet night sleep and felt refreshed the next morning. You can tell the owner really cares about his property which is a great. Will be back for sure if we are in the area.
