Great room and location. Daycare was literally 50 feet outside of the door and we were able to watch the kids on the bunny run from the balcony of our room. Make sure to stock up on grocery items in town which is a 15 min ride down the access road.

Great place to ski and stay!! Nice to walk out the door to the lift. Good places to eat right there in the village and a short walk away. Awesome ski shop right there on the hill too, great demo skis to try with any conditions.

We stayed in a loft room which provided a great space for the kids to hang out, helping to keep the main area tidy. Staff was friendly and helpful. Super convenient to have a large ski locker basically right beside the lift! We had a great time.

Beautiful location at the bottom of the kicking horse ski mountain. We were there for a wedding and we are not skiers, so this review will focus on the hotel. We walked into our room. It was big enough for my group, my husband our two children (2.5 years and 7 years) and myself. We rented a suite with a kitchen, but we never utilized anything other than the fridge and the dishwasher at the end of our trip. The bathroom was large with a huge soaker tub and large shower. The pull out couch was fine for the children, but I would not want to sleep on it. I could not find any wrap around sheets for it. I found a large white blanket, which I assumed was for the pull out couch. My husband and daughter went to the hot tub and they said it was normal. We ordered food from the restaurant at the bottom of the hill. Rather pricey but after driving in from Calgary, we were hungry. Overall, the wedding was beautiful and the hotel was just fine. We would stay again.

We spent the weekend at the Mountaineer Lodge - you can't get closer to the hill and it was a fantastic location. The room has a balcony and spacious, clean bathroom. It also has a really well appointed kitchenette, with sink, plates, microwave and complementary coffee! However, if you plan on spending any time in the room - you'll be doing it in bed. There is VERY little space in the room for walking, standing or sitting. Not the type of room where you can hang out.

The room was small but well designed and functional. Had a small kitchen which was adequate to prepare simple meals. The room had a good view of the mountain. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was standard. However the public hot tub was small and uninviting.

We had a great time. The resort was beautiful and relaxing. Lots of amenities and the skiing was fantastic! There were several restaurants to choose from and the food was excellent at each one. Would definitely HIGHLY recommend this destination.

We recently stayed for 4 nights at the Glacier Mountaineer Lodge at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. Glacier is the most centrally located of the resorts found at Kicking Horse, and the locker room is only steps away from the gondola waiting to take you up the mountain. We had a King Guest Room which included a tiny kitchenette with a fridge, sink, and coffee maker. I really wasn't expecting much of a response, but we decided to request a toaster. Within minutes one was brought up to our room. The room itself was great, it had everything we needed. The hot tub and sauna area were what you would expect at a mountain resort and a great way to warm up after a day on the mountain. Parking was also convenient with an underground parkade. Based on talking to friends who stayed at Palliser Lodge while we were there, Glacier seems to be a slightly superior resort in terms of amenities, location, and quality of ski in/ski out. Glacier will be our first choice when we return to Kicking Horse.

Big clean room with fireplace steps away from the lift. It would be better if all guests had access to the drying racks in the mountaineer or Glacier lodges, or they added some to Palliser. Friendly helpful staff gave us a very fair late check out options.

Was on a vacation last summer with a few other families. We were staying in Golden and then going to Revelstoke and Kicking Horse for day trips. We chose this places because it has good proximity to both of these locations, as well as Golden, which was close by. Hate was also very good, with nice parking. Clean rooms and very spacious. A very, very, good option.
