We travelled from Australia to see the Rockies and could not have done better re accommodation. The views from the balcony and the loungeroom were simply amazing. If anything, even better than those on the web! The apartment (number 60) was spotlessly clean, fitted with everything you could need; full kitchen equipment, extra towels, blankets, etc etc. Not large but fine for 2 people. And there is a huge deck with a great hot tub/spa and a BBQ. The managing agents (Lush Accomodation) were very friendly and professional. One improvement could be some instructions for the spa, where to put the garbage, opening hours /dates of local restaurants etc but this is a minor quibble. This is a superb apartment for either a winter or summer stay. Each of the 12 buildings in the Aspens group are reasonably spaced so not too close to each other. They are located in three tiers down the hill. Each building has 5 apartments. We stayed in one on the top road and were one of the two apartments on the top floor. Not sure what the views are like from the other levels, but ours was simply perfect! About 5 to 10 mins walk down to the gondolas, bar etc so a relatively quiet area of Kicking Horse Village. Definitely highly recommended!

Really nice stay with high standard and luxury features. The jacuzzi at the veranda was something extra. Also a very good sound system and good possibilities to cook. Ski in and a short walk to the lifts in the morning.

Let me start by saying that we stayed here in July 2016 and I'm only just getting round to writing this review...but 6 months on and it still deserves the best of reviews! The accomodation is very modern and luxurious. Loved the open plan layout and fully equipped kitchen. What makes this place special though is the balcony and surrounding views. Coming from the UK, we were always going to be impressed by the scenery in BC but this was the best from our 2 week trip across BC. Sitting in the hot tub watching the sun set = amazing!! Hunters Hideaway is on the top level at the far end which makes the balcony very private. July is obviously off season for the resort so it's very quiet but this adds to the magic of the setting and is perfect if you want to escape off the grid but in very comfortable surroundings. All in all we loved this place and its probably the most memorable place we've ever stayed in. I would definitely like to return one day!

I would recommend #1 as it has the best view and privacy. Hot tub on the deck. You can ski right to the deck. There is a golf course near by depending on the season you go. Mountain biking and hiking and whitewater rafting. We weren't board for a moment. Really loved the whole area. The condo is totally equipped with all you need. Even some spices to get you started.

For years I've been dreaming of a mountain retreat, but nothing 'too' rustic - this was it! The checkin process was a bit tricky - you are required to email/fax in your signed agreement, which is sent to you just a few days before arrival. Thankfully we found a printer and took photos of the documents to send. We promptly received the room info and passcodes. The garage is suitable for cars and equipment - not anything larger, so our SUV was parked on the below street. The actual condo was beautiful - from the decorations to kitchen supplies (but please, coffee filters!) to spacious bathroom (more TP perhaps!) and great comfy bedding. The hot tub was fantastic (albeit not completely private), and BBQ was huge (although not used). The only unfortunate part was our laundry washer was not working, which we had actually been looking forward to. Did I mention there is no AC - something to consider.

All the comforts of home with and amazing view. The condo we stayed in was cozy yet spacious for 4 adults to co-exist for a week. 5 minute walk from the ski resort, indoor parking, and a hot tub to sooth your aching muscles from skiing/snowboarding all day. Paradise!

I stayed at Aspens at Kicking Horse #33 from Thursday to Saturday. The place was super easy to find and the front desk staff were wonderful. Upon entering the condo, there were a few things that needed to be fixed right away. Broken mug, broken cassarole dish, heated floor wasn't working, the telephone battery needs to be replaced so our calls were super short, there are slats missing for closing the blinds at the patio door, half the DVDS were missing out of their cases, and so on. It doesnt seem like they care about clesning the condo as there was a bag of childrens advil wnd gravol that the people before us left! Plus all the restaurants in this damn city are closed for renovations. I would come back but I wouldn't pay anything to what I did pay. Definitely NOT worth the $200 per night. Probably only stay for a day trip. However the views were fantastic. I will give them props for that!

These privately owned condos are managed as rentals by Bellstar Vacations. There are a few things you should know when you rent a VRBO - you aren't getting a maid, there is no on-site concierge, and you treat it like you would a private cabin. The outdoor private hot tub was fantastic after a day mountain biking, the area was quiet and the room was clean. My one complaint was the mattress was horrible. I could feel each spring and left in extreme pain. I'm not sure if the mattresses are selected by the owners (therefore different in each room), or if they are standard for each room. If they are standard, I strongly recommend an upgrade. Lovely to have a fully stocked kitchen, especially since dining options in Golden are limited. It's a great little home away from home!

Beautiful location, spacious rooms and terrific facilities were certainly nice, but the extraordinary team run by manager Tim go above and beyond to make you feel at home. I wouldn't stay anywhere other than Bellatar properties when going out West!

Was there on business and from the service to the amazing suites all was fantastic. The outdoor private hot tub was just so relaxing, much needed after a long day. I would recommend the resort without hesitation.
