Built on the old Magic Castle site, Magic Mountain Resort has spectacular views from just about every room. We stayed in a 3bed family unit which had a level grassy outdoor area which overlooked the beach. The kitchen was well appointed with everything you need to cook your own meals. Master bedroom had a walk in robe and ensuite and had ocean views. Second bedroom overlooked the vast pool and landscaped gardens and also had a lovely balcony. Lounge room was very nicely furnished with large TV and Foxtel.
We were promised a first floor apartment but ended up on the ground level so the view was not as expected. Our apartment was somewhat dated and tired. We had to ask for extra blankets, the T.V. would not work. There was one tea towel in the whole apartment and although we each had a towel no face cloths were provided. When I enquired about this I was told by reception that Resorts don't provide face cloths these days yet our next accommodation on the Sunshine Coast had everything in abundance (and for less cost than Magic Mountain). Not the best accommodation.
Enjoyed 10 relaxing days in 3 bedroom oceanview apartment. Have stayed here several times and has always been enjoyable. Lovely spacious clean apartment, with everything you need. Front office staff were extremely helpful with checkin and bookings for other attractions.
Stayed in a 2 bedroom pool view unit. The unit had been refurbished and had a nice modern look. Everything in the unit worked well and the WiFi signal strength was strong. There are a few negatives - There are no lifts in the complex so the trip from the car park to your unit is all stairs, the secure car park is not suited for larger SUVs and there was a smell coming from the garbage disposal unit. There also seems to be quite a few permanent residents in the complex. The view from the infinity pool was great although the pool was very cold. It's handy to the surf club and restaurants.
The place is lovely but the management teams behavior and how they treat people is so unprofessional and disgusting. Instead of assisting there visitors they abuse them instead. It is an absolute shame as the resort its self is nice, but i would not recommend this place. Oh and parking is a shocker and management will have your car towed if you parking in the visitor park for longer then 12hrs, they seem to pick and choose when they want to implement this rule.
We stayed during peak Easter period for a week and throughly enjoyed it. Nice and quiet with excellent amenities We had a 3 bedroom apartment with fantastic ocean views and city view at night from our balcony. Large apartment with excellent size bedrooms and bathrooms, kitchen was a little old but had everything we needed for a weeks stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. Infinity pool was awesome and being on the side of a hill provided great exercise. Heaps of great dining options just a short walk away. Also a mini supermarket, chemist and Doctor who were all super helpful and provided outstanding service during the Easter weekend. Would highly recommend this as a great location for a trip to the Gold Coast
views forever towards Broadbeach and surfers The hot tub is toasty during the colder months and the infinity pool is amazing anytime of the day, not to mention the other two pools functional GYM and well looked after gardens The lower lagoon pool has a sandy beach for the kids also two BBQ's for lunch or dinner. very generous sized apartments and 24 hour security entry short walk down to Nobby beach shops and plenty of restaurant options
We loved our stay, was very quiet and peaceful, we just missed the peak holiday time! We enjoyed all three pools especially the infinity pool, so relaxing with a lovely jacuzzi. Our room was spotless and had everything we needed! Highly recommend if in Miami!
Perfect location for out trip to the Gold Coast. The three bedroom apartment gave us magic coastal views as well as a nice city view at night. The convenience of the shopping centre down the hill was great as it offered food, drink and other services. Well maintained with a great infinity pool!
Nice apartment, clean and well maintained with secure parking, three excellent swimming pools, convenient location for eating out, beach and shopping. The views from the rooftop pool are stunning. Enjoyable stay.
