Just returned from a 6 night stay at the Capricorn. I found them a very pleasant place to stay and good value for money. Reception staff always happy to help and very welcoming. Kitchen in unit was well equipped and overall everything was clean and tidy. A few fixtures and fittings were a bit "tired" but the apartment suited our needs. Many thanks

We stayed here for 9 day and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of capricorn one. It is located within walking distance of great cafes and the surfers paradise night life. Easy access to buses and trams. The managers are really informative and very helpful. The pools are spotlessly clean and our apartment was also beautifully clean and nicely presented. You wake up to a million dollar view if the beach. I Would definitely recommend and will return.

Choose other place. Booked the place for April 2017 Easter long weekend based on website photos. And I can not speak for the other rooms but our was DISGUSTING. Rust, dirty windows, filthy couch and floor. But particularly Rust was everywhere. I do understand that this property right near the beech, but if you charge so much then you should do your job and maintain the place. Ended up staying a 1st night and checking out on a morning. Experience with management was pretty bad, got charged around 500 AUD for 1 night stay. Lady manager said that it was disgusting how we describing our experience and if we want something nice then we need to stay at 6 star hotel. I just really hope some one else would manage this place as right now it's not even back packing quality of apartment. And lastly I have seen all this super positive reviews about this place and have no idea how people would leave them, it just feels like this is what they management is doing instead of cleaning the rooms, they just typing they own reviews. Photos attached to see for your self.

We stayed for 9 days enjoyed every moment . close to everything We enjoyed the view .. waking up to the beautiful greeting sounds of the ocean Great value for the money ... clean ... has everything you need. Felt very safe and secure . You will not regret it . We did not have time to try out the pool or the spa ... but I'm sure you will. Management always there when you need them. Very friendly and helpful. Thanks you two ... We did not need air conditioning it was just perfect fresh air.

I took my 10 year old twins on holiday, I found the hotel to be in a good area with great security, excellent views and amities. The hotel offered enough space to move and feel relaxed with plenty of storage for our gear. The rooms were clean and the equipment provided was in good working order. We all had a great time and would return.

We had a lovely return to the Gold Coast and a very welcomed stay at Capricorn one. Very clean, safe and close to the action but far enough along the road to be away from the noise! Two great pools and just a short road crossing to get to the beach.

Place is good for Family of 4. Secure and reception is quite friendly. I am the extra guest and told us we dont need since the place is good for 3 adults but happy we informed them. There's a allocated parking lot if you bring your car. Place is close the central district of surfers paradise. About 15 -20 mins. Apartment has all the cooking and utensils so good savings. Spa and pool services is amazing.

We were so happy with Capricorn One. We had not only an amazing view of the ocean and the river but the apartment was perfect for our little family. The rooms were clean and it was just more than i could have expected. The heated pool was great, the kids loved it. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

We wanted to stay for one week at Gold Coast and decided to try a self contained Apartment that was offered on Booking.com. I contacted the management team before our departure as our arrival was late at night and we were not sure whether any reception staff would be there. We also found out that the so called and advertised FREE INTERNET WIFI was actually NOT really free - as it was limited to only 500MB per 24 hours. As we arrived that late - we only could get our "log on" details the following day. By early evening the kids had used it all up with surfing the net and watching YouTube, etc. So I had to spend a further $69.95 for real unlimited free WiFi while staying at the apartment. We were surprised that many of the cupboards were LOCKED - it seemed that when this place is not occupied by visitors maybe the owners live there??? Also, our unit is in urgent need of some basic renovations as there were many holes fixed with putty, wall-boards started to peel off the walls and rust building up here and there - not very pleasant. The Sauna was very very limited time use - from 8 - 9am and another 2 hours in the afternoon - but when we tried it most elements were broken and temperature was only 35C - not enough to build up a sweat. The TV was extremely hard to operate with the remote and we asked about it and were given instructions how to manage - get very close and hit the tiny spot at the right hand bottom corner - if you miss nothing will happen. The FRIDGE had a sign NOT TO CHANGE THE SETTINGS - but when putting OJ, Milk, boiled eggs and Strawberries into it they were all FROZEN the next morning. On a better note - the balcony had a FANTASTIC VIEW over the ocean and it was in very pleasant to sit there and listen to it and watch it. But you have to keep covered - as the neighbors can see you as good as you can see them. It was also very close walk to the beach and not too many people that part of the beach as a little bit away from "center" of Surfers Paradise Beach. The kids loved it and it was great fun - just a little far to go to buy some foods and when taking the car - you had to be very lucky to get a car park - after all it was school holidays and Easter was close. The unit had a good washing machine and dryer which were used frequently and came very handy. There is only 1 TV in the 2BR apartment in the Living room - so the parents can't watch TV from their Bed.

Absolutely terrible, when we arrived after 12 hours driving, room was fuilthy, staff not cooperative. Please avoid this place at any cost. The smell in the room was horrific, shower was discusting. We absolutely discusted and couldn't stay for more then 10 min and also lost $200 deposit. Debby the owner wad really rude the following day when i tryed to contact her.
