Spectacular property where every room appears to have a view of the ocean. Our stay was short since for various reasons we had to vacate our previous hotel. The property does require a bit of walking if your room is in the areas further away from the reception. A golf cart is used at check-in and check-out, and based on a sign posted, they will drive you where you wish to go if you call, but they prefer you do not use the golf cart during the stay.

The resort is beautiful. The luxury and cleanliness stand in contrast to the local resources, including the houses/shacks across from the hotel entrance. The staff was very attentive (too attentive for my personal taste, but clearly with a focus on guest satisfaction and comfort), the location lovely, and the generators quick (power outages while there). The pool is warm but refreshing none the less. The grounds and landscaping is beautiful.

This is a true luxury hotel; the staff is unbelievably attentive and engaging. The hotel has a main building, with guest rooms in smaller buildings surrounding it. It is right on the beach on a large bay; those of you who want to stay right on the ocean may wish to try a different hotel. It has a huge, enjoyable pool area, and also a play camp for kids. My room was large and comfortable; the bathroom, with lots of amenities, was large than some European hotel rooms I've stayed in! The concierge was very helpful; for example, he arranged a driver to take me to Old Goa and the trip was perfect. The hotel has several restaurants, but I choose to eat in the "confeitaria" or pastry shop and in the bar - my food was fab. One odd thing was the main building is open to the elements and while portions are air conditioned I found it uncomfortable (I was there in October).

This was the perfect hotel to start my trip around India. The property was well maintained and relaxing, especially after spending the past 36 hours on planes/in airports.

We celebrated our high school reunion at the resort and had a wonderful experience. The architecture and landscaping is marvelous. The swimming pool and spa are tastefully done. The location is a little bit middle of nowhere but that might be one some may desire.
