We had an unforseen incident driving to the hotel and wasn't able to make the reservation. The hotel advised me that if Orbitz contacted them on my behalf to ask for a refund because of the incident, the hotel denied the opportunity to show empathy to a valued customer. Great customer service shows that if you are able to put yourself in a place of position to help a valued customer that they will always be a valued customer. That opportunity was squandered in order for the hotel to be greedy and make money off of our stay, along with I'm sure, renting out the room to another person during this busy spring break season. Sometimes things happen in life that are completely unforeseeable and in that, kindness and understanding should always be the mission statement of any business.
The only problem I had was that they started to clean my room before I checked out. Otherwise everything was great, people friendly, place was clean

Didn't like when they gave my room number to someone that I didn't want to know I was there. Not only did they do that but even gave the person a sticky note to leave on my door after banging on it for a hour

Thank you for your feedback, we understand your frustration. We did let you know that if we had a walk in, we would cancel it. Unfortunately, it was already 8pm when you had called, we had no one else walk in. During the early hours, when guest are looking for rooms, we turn a handful of people away letting them know we were booked.I would like to apologize for not exceeding your expectations. Your satisfaction is important to us, and we will be using the feedback you gave us to implement improvements to ensure we offer a better experience for guests in the future.
