Really enjoyed the hotel. No elevators, but if your legs work, no problem. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was nice to stay on Brand. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. Walked to breakfast and came across the Americana at Brand. Would definitely recommend checking this area out. Lots of nice shopping and outdoor cafes with a fountain and plenty of green grass to sit and enjoy a nice afternoon.

Hotel staff were great and accommodating. Room is a little small and not a lot of storage for luggage, but it was nice quality. I liked the style too.

Quiet, clean, with some old time charm. Nice hotel without a chain vibe. Staff is friendly and efficient. You can't beat the location if your business or pleasure brings you to Glendale. Free parking, no valet required.

Found head and pubic hair in the bed. Not what you'd expect to find in a clean bed. Bath room was gross, especially the shower/tub which looked like it had not been cleaned in months. No, that's not a marble finish or petunia... it's filth that hasn't been cleaned from the tub. Yeah, go ahead and stand in there barefoot and bathe yourself. I slept with all my clothes on and checked out earlier than scheduled, the next day. No question as to why or if I enjoyed my stay.

Great area to browse shops and places to eat. The old hotel is nicely decorated and clean, but, the plumbing can be a little noisy at times. The rooms are small but cozy and comfortable. It's fun being in downtown Glendale.

The room was very accommodating and offered more than anticipated, however, the accessibility to the room was very inconveniencing; to get to any rooms and the receptionist, you have to go up two flights of stairs.

Had to use two remotes to work tv no instructions provided. Desk clerk had to come to my room to explain how it works.

Very nice and quaint. I would return for another stay. Great location. Very enjoyable.

Boutique Hotel. Very close to businesses and restaurants. I walked to the office and to eat at night. Rooms are small but neat. There is no gym nor swimming pool so if that's what you are looking for don't stay here. Parking is in the Bank of America lot behind the hotel and on top level. If you have a handicap or trouble climbing stairs this is not the place to stay. No elevators as it's a 2 story building. Stairs from the street to the lobby and then 2nd floor rooms. Stairs to the 2nd level to get your car. I will stay here again because of the convenience of not having to fight traffic to work and eat.

Yes it met our expectations. As long as you read the hotel description beforehand. No elevator. Free parking is about 2 blocks away. Loved the location.

Nice hotel for the money. Convenient location. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Would recommend to others.

This was a great experience. Check in was simple and the location was convenient to many shops and restaurants. Room was clean and comfortable.

The room is small but very clean. Comfy bed, maybe a little soft for my taste but nice crisp linens and a variety of pillow thicknesses. Very nice bathroom, clean and updated. Our room on the back of the top floor was nice and quiet. My only minor complaint is there should be a shelf under the mirror for toiletries... very small sink vanity.

No elevator, lots of steep stairs. Overall, nice historic hotel however, jazz club below of which you can hear band while in your room.

First, the staff was nice; the room was nicely appointed; the parking was free; and it is next door to a restaurant, bar, and jazz club. But, you have to climb a lot of steps (I didn't see an elevator and no one mentioned one); the rooms are tiny; the free parking is on the second floor of a bank parking garage on the other side of the block; and the location is a long walk to the shopping and dining area of town. That's just too many negatives for me.

The rooms were decorated beautifully - from the ornate furniture to the updated bathrooms and flooring. Bedding was comfortable and the room was quiet. Service from front desk was commendable - questions were answered promptly and I was checked in without issue. The only con was the parking and the stairs. Parking issue: I arrived (traveling solo) at 2 am. I had to park behind the hotel on the second level of a parking garage, walk down the stairs and enter a door a short distance down an alley. I did not feel very safe doing this at 2 am by myself. There was a digital lock on both doors (one at the alley entrance and one at the top of the stairs) but it still unsafe. Stairs: There are (34) steps from the street level to the lobby of the hotel. I did not see any elevator although one may exist somewhere else in the building. Not a problem if you are traveling light but if you have a large suitcase you may have some trouble. Overall, I loved this boutique hotel. It was a nice change from the standard, plain, chain hotel chains. Would recommend staying here - just arrive in the daylight and travel light!

outside of window is wall. without any view. room is very small. and very old. but free parking & fee wireless. that is good. The hotel is very small. and few staff. second night. when I back to hotel. The bath room is locked by clean staff. can not open. we be told that be waiting for next morning. when the manger be back to hotel. he will try to open for us. ??? !!! When we insisted. It cost more than 3hour, waiting night working staff come, use steel wire, open. You can not believe it. it is 3 star hotel!!!

Stayed at the Brandwood for 3 nights. Nice staff, nice and clean rooms. The bed was very comfortable. The location was great - right in the center of Glendale close to a lot of restaurants, bars and walking distance to the mall. The parking is included - in the back of the hotel. The only drawback is the lack of an elevator. When you're on the 2rd floor of the hotel - there are about 50 steps up (I counted!). The front desk mentioned that if I had booked through their site, they would have given me a card for breakfast at a popular breakfast chain restaurant. Not sure if pricewise it was worth it though. The rate i got was about 100$ per night for December. The PB is less than 1 block away on the other side of the street. There is another excellent cafe on the same side of the street. Both great places to eat breakfast or brunch.

this is an excellent base for business trips in glendale or burbank area. clean rooms comfortable beds great amenities free wifi and easy parking in a great neighborhood. will be back here again.

public transport is very convinient, room is comfort and clean with necessary facilities. It's very well worth the price, I'm very satisfied and will definitely choose it again!
