Hilton Los Angeles North/Glendale

3.5 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

It was a nice stay at the Hilton. It's nearby a lot of good food and activities, and located in a nice, safe area. Also a nice point to go to all the areas around los Angeles. Nothing is too far away.

Everything was just beautiful! Staff was excellent, pleasant and helpful. Reading reviews was helpful and after being there ourselves, I agree with the high ratings of this hotel. Being from another state, we were not familiar with paying a high dollar to park in their underground parking. Seems that they could just go ahead and include the parking in with the room rate. Charging for parking was something I really didn't like. I noticed other hotels charged for parking too and maybe this is something California does as a whole. All in all, we loved this hotel and would definitely use it again!

Every request I had was met promptly & with a smile. I really felt the staff's desire to provide quality service. The bed & pillows were cuddle me comfortable. My room was tucked in a quiet corner, as I had asked. The decor & delicious dinners in front of the fireplace felt intimate, even with the lobby right behind me. No blasting music or loud tv programs to disturb the peaceful setting. This was a very nice stay.

We stayed at the hotel but the check in was very slow and the sheets smelled like mildew. Spoke to management but they were slow to understand the complaint .

Great place to stay! Will definitely recommend it to family and friends

We had a one night stay and the hotel feels very upscale. Beautiful upscale rooms and lobby and helpful saff

Lobby, entrance, 1st floor in general is very nice. Parking is convenient. Room was so so. Included breakfast was excellent Close to downtown and close to highways Area seems safe

Nice hotel. Great location for our needs during this trip in that part of town

Overall stay was good with only a few minor annoyances. Hotel and room were clean and the staff was friendly and attentive. Free Wi-Fi was actually good, better than any other Hotel we have stayed at so far. There was plenty of self serve underground parking and we often found a spot directly in front of the elevator entrance. Definitely geared toward the Business Traveler but good for our Family. We were in the area from Northern California for a long weekend with plans to visit Universal Studios and LACMA and were booked on a campus tour of USC for my older son. This Hotel location was a short driving distance from everything we had planned, and was down the street from Shake Shack, Porto's and Americana at Brand. Regarding those annoyances, the shower pressure was not strong enough and the toilet would not always flush properly, clogging and overflowing one night of our stay. Most annoying? We booked 4 people in our room, but housekeeping continually set us up with only 3 sets of towels. Every night I had to call for an extra bath towel. On the third night I walked down to the front desk to make sure it was recognized that 4 people were in the room. The person at the front desk called housekeeping and asked that they make sure 4 sets were left the next day. Still only 3 sets were left. Didn't feel like calling back down so we told our boys to skip their shower the next morning. Also, despite the water conservation notes, there were no racks for us to hang towels for reuse

My stay was most enjoyable. Staff was very professional, and helpful. Check-in was quick, and efficient, as was check-out. I was greeted in a cordial manner, and any requests were dealt with efficiently. I will most certainly use Glendale Hilton whenever possible.

Just a room to sleep in. Nothing special about it. The room was clean and comfortable. Was woken up in the morning by workers, working in adjacent room.

Great location. The hotel restaurant is beautiful, comfortable and the food delicious.

The room was very basic. There was no in room refrigerator or microwave, which considering they have an onsite restaurant seems a glaring omission. The toilet seat was old and yellow tinged with the coating peeling in several places. Considering how cheap toilet seats are to replace, not replacing is inexcusable for a hotel that claims to have a 4 star rating. All in all, they are minor things but even though the lobby is really nice, based on the rooms I would consider this hotel to be 3 stars.

Hotel under construction, I have researched king bed but there was not available!

Check in fast. Room nice, bed a little hard. Odd setup in lobby, like a maze to get to front desk. Overall friendly staff, decent room.

Hotel was going through Major construction... The noise would start early in the morning and most of the areas were blocked off. Would not have booked it if I had known this.

We had a wedding in glendale (Metropol), and this hotel was 1.5 miles away. It was very easy to check in, check out. Only thing was that parking was $19, a little pricey.

Room was spacious for 3 people. Hotel staff brought up microwave opon request. Tara at the front desk was polite and helpful. Large gym (for a hotel) and great pool. However, no refrigerator in room. Close to several attractions and restaurants. For the price paid the hotel was great value. Would stay again.

We stayed at this hotel based on proximity to colleges we were visiting. It was a nice hotel, not the best, but definitely worked for our purposes. It was centrally located and was easy to find and get around. Very clean and met our requirements.

This was my first trip to Los Angeles and my first trip alone. I am so glad that I booked a room at this hotel! The bed was so comfortable, and the room was so clean! Plus, I was close to the Glendale Galleria as well as other stores for my convinience (i.e. 7th Eleven CVS Panera Bread Whole Foods etc.) I was on the 5th Floor also, so I had the most beautiful and spectacular view of the mountains. That view is even more gorgeous at night. The staff was very polite, very professional and very helpful. Not to mention that the hotel reimbursed the $200 that I paid for the stay the day after I left. I couldn't ask for anything better.

Looking at the bar & lobby from the area by the fireplace. The seating was so comfortable! The Windows in Room 402 have the room an open feel.. Tho a soggy day, the hills were lovely.
