The room was spacious and comfortable. Quiet for the most part. Breakfast was good, and staff was friendly.

Walls were thin and seemed to be a lot of commotion in the lot.

We arrived in the middle of the night and the staff was so accommodating. Comfortable, clean room made for a nice night's sleep. Good, simple breakfast in the morning. And we got a great rate via Orbitz with no problems.

I stayed 2 nights, room was very clean and comfortable, I was very happy with this hotel!

Hotel was nice, clean, staff was helpful and nice, close to main roads

I was traveling cross country and after a long day drive this motel was in right spot, Very comfortable, quiet, with comfortable bed. Clean and smelled fresh

The room was very dated, clean but not very comforable. The breakfast area was disorganized and not very many choices provided...

We stayed at the Days Inn in Gillette for two nights on business and enjoyed our stay immensely. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were neat and clean. I like a high pressure shower and for once a hotel had excellent water pressure, even at the busiest time of the morning. (The shower head settings would let you have less, but why would you want that?) The complimentary breakfast had a nice variety of options. Not a huge amount of seating space and probably less selection than some other hotels, but more than enough for me. Fresh fruit was nice for a healthy alternative. I appreciated that the hotel had many restaurants in walking distance. The room rates were reasonable and I have no real complaints. We would stay again next time we're in Gillette.

This hotel was probably great in the 80's! It hasn't be updated much (if at all) since then. It's not terrible but it's not great. The refrigerator had been unplugged so the floor surrounding it was soaked. The microwave was ancient. The floor in the bathroom was clean but stained. The staff however were very friendly. They kept breakfast open late for us. However, don't count on the breakfast for much. The bicuits and gravy tasted like glue and my 4 year old wouldn't touch his fruit loops. Luckily, it is located by a bunch of other hotels and restaurants. Even a grocery store is nearby!

My stay was very comfortable. The room was clean and the staff was great.

I had searched for a hotel with a pool and breakfast and when I got there they had no pool and told me we could sneek into the hotel next door and use theirs. The room smelled and there were chips in the bathtub and brown smear on the wall of the bathroom. When I tried to plug in my cell phone into the outlet between the two beds everytime I touched the plug the light would flicker on and off. So I had to charge it in the bathroom. The breakfast in the morning was not that good. I will never stay there again.

It's a motel, no more. In this case, te only thing is that time has passed and manteinance is a little neglected. Sure, you can find better options in the same place for the same price. If not, you can stay. No problem.

When we arrived, the hotel clerk did not have our [...]reservation. She took the information from my reservation that I had printed out from my [...]confirmation email. ([...]was very nice, and helpful). Later, I came down while she was on the phone with [...]and the rep couldn't find my reservation with my name. I had to give him the [...]record locator number and, magically, he found it. When we came down for breakfast in the morning, the desk clerk was sitting on the couch and didn't act very sociable- she continued to sit on the couch as we ate breakfast. The breakfast was pretty pitiful. There were make-your-own waffles, hard boiled eggs, english muffins, bread, and some terrible store bought mini-donuts and used-to-be-frozen mini blueberry muffins. Nothing was very appetizing, even the apple juice from the machine seemed to not taste like apple juice. The fruit (apples and oranges) looked like they had been there for days. The breakfast room itself felt dirty. There was a storage door next to the garbage can that has dirt and food on it, the garbage can was really dirty on the outside, and there was a bucket of water sitting in the dirty sink. They should not have ANY cleaning items in the eating area, it takes away a person's appetite- they should be separate. Also, the refrigerator that was in the eating area, had dirt and food all over the floor in front of it. Not a very clean place to eat breakfast. The floor of the bathtub had some sort of covering on it that looked like it had been ripped off at some point, but not totally ripped off. The shower did have surprisingly good pressure, though. Are there any hotel rooms that have enough outlets anymore?? We had one that the lamp and clock were plugged into, and one that the TV and another light were plugged into. Other than that, there was an outlet in the bathroom. How are you supposed to use/charge a computer or phone??? All in all, I don't think I'll be staying here again- no pool, pitiful breakfast, and outdated rooms. They did have an ice cream sandwich vending machine in the lobby, though- a definite plus!

Highly recommended

We stayed overnight on our way to Yellowstone. The first room we were assigned had not yet been cleaned, so we returned to reception and were immediately assigned another room. A continental breakfast was included and was fresh, but the breakfast room was quite small - only a few tables increasing the risk of not having a table to sit at while you eat.

ok

We enjoyed the stay, another convention was there also ,but not noisy. The rooms was claen and the employees was helpful. We went for a wedding and sight seeing and went on a coal mine tour.Motel had a great full size breakfast, waffles eggs etc. wWe would stay again, and it's close to everything you would need.

gillette is a very busy booming place. Did not want to spend so much on a room, but no choice. I would stay there again. As good a deal as anywhere else there for the money. Don't spend a lot of time at the motel, but noticed anemities were being used, work out room, washing machine areas etc.
