I have stayed here several times for work. The hotel staff are very nice. The room is clean. Internet works and the breakfast buffet is well stocked. Also, the location is walking distance to many restaurants. Perfect for the business traveler
We had a weekend stay at this great hotel and we were very pleased with the service and the attention to detail. Friendly and helpful reception staff, good facilities and entertainment. The location is also good, right next to the beach and just a quick ride away from the railway and bus stations.
Just across the beach, close to the city center, this hotel is excellent for leisure, holidays or business conventions. Plenty of options for restaurants and outdoor activities. The staff is also very helpful and service is high-class! I surely recommend it.
We have an office in this city and although this is the only place I have stayed, it will be the only place I plan to return to. Nestled by the water it is in a perfect location for beach walking or walking to dinner. The restaurants in the hotel are also very nice. We actually spent the majority of the day in the bistro here drinking café con leche and then later wine while working with a view of the ocean. The room is very nice sized and clean.
Hotel in a great location just on the main road opposite the beach. Food was good but the menu was a bit limited. British people will find it strange, I found it a bit annoying to be truthful, that the food is not available until 8.00pm even though it’s served in the bar. Hotel staff at reception reasonably helpful, one bar staff was really good another was very unhelpful and a little arrogant. Parking on site in the underground car park but is not cheap. Some nice bars along the promenade which is directly opposite. Room was a typical average hotel room nothing wrong with it but nothing to shout about either. Maybe 3.5 out of 5 but not 4
We stayed here on our recent visit and chose it because of it's proximity to the beach and El Molinon. We stayed 4 nights. The hotel reception is large and spacious with helpful staff. We had a room with a view out onto the street and beach. The room itself is clearly set up for the business traveller and looks quite outdated compared to other 4* hotels - fake green marble bathroom, poor quality chairs, small tv on the fake wooden side unit. Also none of the 5 English language TV channels were available, neither were many of the other international ones. No in room tea, coffee or free water. Cleanliness could also have been better, our safe had a thick layer of dust across the top. Room was on the small side, but there was a superking bed which was comfy and a useful second door between the bathroom/room entrance and the bed area which helped ensure a quiet night's sleep. The upstairs bar/'gastro pub' is modern and spacious with lovely comfy seating and lovely views of the beach. Service again was very friendly. Food was disappointing - we had what could have been an amazing burger, but was completely unseasoned and tasteless - such a shame as it could have been so very good. The bar was unavailable for guest use on the Saturday as it was used for a function which was disappointing. Gym was on the small side and via an outside walkway and there are no spa services. The location is pretty good - at the far end of town away from the main area, but well served by buses and plenty of local bars and cafes nearby and right on the beach. Not sure how it compares to the other hotels in the area but it was fine, if uninspiring and somewhat soulless.
Great hotel, near the beach, near the city. Clean, excellent service. New hotel. Very easy to travel, have nice time. Great restaurant in breakfast and dinner. Great view of the sea shore. The reception and all the stuff were very useful.
Very nicely located accross from the beach and close to the center of town, the Abba hotel is a nice place to stay. It offers nice local traditionnal food and nice breakfast buffet. Good service, it is a pity there is no way to get self made hot drink in the room, you have to call room service if you want a hot drink.
The hotel is set in great location and hotel I. Proper hands will be amazing but unfortunately it's not great. Firstly, we came here in mid September, the weather is cold and it's raining so at the very least you would expect some kind of duvet or something! No, here you are given a flat sheet as your duvet!! I was so cold I had to double up the bath towels and use those. The heating was in full high and still it felt like it was blowing cold air! I asked the maid if it was normal to not have duvets and she just looked at me like I was asking if an alien had landed!😡 anyway, I found a blanket in the wardrobe but was so dirty and dusty like it had never seen the light of day and certainly not for use. The toilet toiletries are not renewed so you really have to make it known that the soap on wall is finished by remaining the whole thing and putting in the sink. What annoy d me the most was that they don't have a simple kettle and tea and coffee in the room. Paid £600 for 6 nights and at the very least could provide this! Not happy. We didn't have the breakfast so was just the room... little things matter...
We came here in May and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The toiletries are of good quality. The only bizarre thing is the body wash, its attached to the wall. We didn't opt for the breakfast but had dinner on last day which was nice. They have a roof top bar/restaurant which allow some you to see the town however it does get windy so depends on which month you go. The town itself is very nice with lots of amazing eateries. Staff are friendly. We had cocktails in the bar made by Sandra who was very lovely and super helpful. Highly recommend.
