Days Inn Waynesboro

2.0 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

Needed an inexpensive but nice place to say on long trip from Upstate NY to NC. We were very pleased to find this hotel.

The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable. The room had a little refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. Ideal, if you wanted to keep something cold, heat something up, or have a cup of coffee or tea. Supplies were in the room. Would stay again!

The hotel is right in downtown and about 45 minutes from Gettysburg.

Normally, your cheaper hotel/motel chains will be clustered on the outskirts of a city or town. This Days Inn, however, is located right on Main Street in Waynesboro, and is in a beautiful location across from historic Civil War era/Industrial era homes. In terms of quality, it's a motel, so don't expect a pillow mint. But if you just want a nice place to sleep in an above average small-town location, this is a good place to try.

My daughter needed a place to stay during a relocation for work. Perfect price for the week!

nice beds good breakfast could use whole milk and sausage for the waffles

the room was clean and the bed was comfortable the a/c worked great. I would have liked a microwave in the room had a fridge. The breakfast was good wish there were at least sausage to go with the waffles. And whole milk for cereal and coffee. they had 2% :( other than that ... it was ok.

clean, quiet and relaxing AND FREE breakfast was great

Stayed here a few nights recently because the location is perfect, despite some negative reviews. I am not sure where they are coming from with all the negatives. Is this a Las Vegas vacation getaway? No...its a clean warm bed and shower for business travelers or families on a budget. They offer Wi-Fi (\which is not very good if you need it for working on a laptop which i do) a basic limited breakfast to start your day (fruit, cereal, waffles) and make it smooth to check in and go back to the room and get some sleep. The only thing i can say is i wish there were a few more towels since if a woman is staying, she usually needs a two towels (hair, body) and there have only been two when i stayed.

Very basic but probably goes hand in hand with what we paid. They said it was under new management ...I can't imagine what it must have been like under the "old" management.

Great price. No complaints. Bed was comfortable. $$

Older establishment, funny smell to room, needs modernized

The hotel was nice. Normal condition nothing really spectacular but I would stay again if I go back to that area. We stayed to go to Gettysburg and Apple Festival. Only thing to complain about is when we got back at night there wasn't enough parking for all the guest, and if you weren't up at crack of dawn breakfast was already gone.

husband and i needed an expensive place to stay because we wanted to reserve our money for our trip to gettysburg...walls were stained as if it had once been a smoking room...my husband and i had to share a set of towels. bed was comfy. owners were nice.

This was a hotel convenient for our purpose. The facility is older but a good attempt at making it look clean and well kept has been made. The breakfast provided was very sparce with the fresh fruit being not so fresh. The breakfast room was also freezing cold. It was adequate, but certainly not special.

If you need a place to stay and are on a budget this hotel is just okay for a night. Don't be looking for a good breakfast. It's right in the middle of downtown with houses around it so if you are not watching carefully you will miss it.

The hotel room was good. Very stingy with their towels. Hotel key had to be reprogramed several times. Free breakfast needs to be improved. Price was right though. :)

Stayed there while attending the car show at Carlisle and then went to Gettysburg the third day. I would have to give this hotel good marks for value. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable and the price was the best in the area.

The hotel is in the heart of town Inspection of the room was very nice the only flaw is that the ice container was half full with water where it wasn't taken care of by the cleaning staff. Otherwise the room was clean and the experience was good.
