Days Inn Gettysburg

2.5 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

We toured the Gettysburg battle fields and museums as well as the Eisenhower farm. It was close and convenient to the hotel. The next day we traveled to Mont Alto campus of Penn State which was less than 1/2 hour away. Yea.

Clean room, comfortable bed, decent free breakfast.

The staff was cheerful and helpful at the front desk. I rated this a 3 due to the not so clean bathroom, rusty sink and terrible pillows. I asked my daughters what they thought of the hotel and they even said "hmmm, lets not do that one again". Great location, but a 3 experience.

Very nice room. It was clean and the furnishings were pretty new. The free continental breakfast was very good. I especially liked the pancake machine.

Clean and safe environment. Also, the price is good.

We stayed here as part of a relaxing vacation. We did not have many plans except one tour at 7 pm so most of our days were spent in the hotel. There was only one chaise so anymore than one would have to sit on a bed as a chair. Check in and out went smoothly and the associates were nice. We stayed 2 nights and on the second day the maid came to clean the room and we expressed that at the time we were busy but we would be leaving fairly soon. We did leave about half hour later and we were gone about 2 hours and when we came back the room had not been prepared. I had looked for a 'please make up room sign' but all that was in the room was a double sided 'do not disturb' sign. The maid came back about 2 hours later, between 4 and 5 hours after her original visit and at that time we just stated that we would decline the service today, we honestly didn't mind. That was really the only semi neutral experience we had, everything else was clean and the people were nice. We did not get the breakfast or indulge in the free coffee or tea we also did not use the vending machines.

Reasonable price, great location, comfortable quiet room, restaurant can be walked to, friendly staff.

Basic hotel with pretty basic breakfast, but the staff was nice and rooms were clean. Overall good stay for the price. The only issue I had was a small piece of pepperoni was stuck to the headboard of my bed. Housekeeping must have missed a spot.

Every year, my family and I go skiing at Liberty Mountain Resort. We stay at the Days Inn which is very close to the town’s center and the ski lodge. Prices are very reasonable and staff are always so polite and willing to help every guest.

We were there for the Gettysburg Battlefield Half Marathon. Housekeeping was very accommodating in cleaning out room early so we could come back shower and just relax. I’m not sure if they were confused that this was also happening on the next day as well but they just walked into our room ‘early’ without knocking or announcing themselves? Breakfast isn’t the best either but Perkins is next door and you get 10% off with your room key. Overall decent place for what we paid and for the location to the race and all local attractions and shopping.

Nice hotel and friendly staff. Comfortable room. Good Price. Close to downtown Gettysburg.

Nice room, great staff, good breakfast. Close to most attractions in town. Worth the money

I always use the Days Inn in Gettysburg. I have always found it to be a very good stop on my travels in and out of Pennsylvania. The hotel is maintained and you get a discount by eating at the Perkins restaurant next door. The management of the hotel has always been very cordial.

Within access to all areas of battlefield and within shopping stores. Quiet area for sleeping and no room noise from other people

Conveniently located and on this trip we ate next door at Perkins which gave a 10% discount off the bill.

Have stayed here numerous times in the last 3 years, clean, comfortable and affordable.

Perfect for our trip..in the middle of Gettysburg Battlefield, skiing resort and town square. Love staying here!!

Hotel had a nice lobby, decorated well for Christmas. Hotel staff checked us in, not overly friendly. Room was a handicap room, close to where we parked and was very spaceous.

Excellent stop while traveling on long distance trip. Quiet and very clean. Good restaurants nearby

The hotel staff (front desk) were very friendly and helpful. The lobby has a small sunken seating area just opposite the desk with 2 couches and a tv. (thats it!!) The room is adequate and clean. The towels were very scratchy (rough)
