Nothing snazzy but clean, comfortable and rooms facing to courtyard are quiet. Friendly staff. Near train station where the airport bus also stops. Walk to centre is about 20 mins. Streets around hotel well lit and felt safe. No English TV but this is less a hotel to relax in and more just to sleep
Terrible hotel, not worth €75 per night . The bed was small and was so uncomfortable. The decor in the room was from the 1970s. My advice is pay a little bit more to at least get a good nights sleep .
The position of this hotel is very convenient for the train station it is only a short walk away, It is down a back street but quite near the top so it can be seen from the main street when trying to locate it, it is clean and the staff were friendly, it is not a brilliant hotel but it is adequate
This hotel is close to the train station. It's about a 5 min walk. The hotel is small and down a alley. They have a free breakfast. If you drive up to the hotel you better have a small car. You are going to be driving it down this very small alley. They do have parking but there is a charge. The rooms had a very small shower. If you are on the larger size you might not fit. It was a clean hotel with a very firm bed. You are very close to tons of shopping. Just down the street is. SS. Annunziata del Vastato church. This is a must visit. The beauty is so amazing. There is no charge to go in.
Stayed for just one night . Clean room, samesame for the bathroom. Excellent location for travelling by train. Next to the railway station and lots of restaurants. Breakfast ok, typical Italian style.
I was going to use the word, gross. However, scary seems suitable. We were given a small dungeon like room. Really old carpeting, one window and poorly sponged painted walls. Fine, I'll where my shower shoes. I saw a room next door that looked bigger and had more light. When I asked for that room instead, he said we paid for Economy. The room smells of smoke and the air doesn't work well. That's what Economy gets u. We may be leaving adapt....
Good safe location for station, easy walk or on bus routes to Piazza Ferrari etc. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms adequate and well serviced. Just off main through fare so relatively quiet. Tourist transport passes available from shop just back up on main road. Noting they cover the many lifts, rack & pinion railway, underground, buses etc. The best lift in the city up to Castello D'albertis is two minutes away. This lift runs horizontal before changing into a conventional vertical lift. Breakfast as expected Italian continental which was very good. Will use again if in the area.
First, the check in staff was very nice. Not their fault the AC was not really working and the Shower, what shower???!!!! I've seen some small showers and tubs but this was insane. I'm only 5'5", 122 pounds and could barely fit in. I was afraid my husband was not even going to be able to take a shower without breaking the what you might call plastic doors. If you are going to stay there, plan on not really getting to take a shower. The room also had a weird smell to it.
This small rooms, convenient Hotel is not fancy. This is an older hotel that the owners have tried to 'love', but it needs more than a little loving touch. The greatest asset at this hotel is the owner's son, Oliver. This young man can't do enough for you as a guest. He truly makes you feel welcome, is very helpful with suggestions about restaurants and sites. He told us about LaBigancia and even called their personal phone and got us reservations on very short notice. This man goes far beyond being helpful, he is the reason I would stay at this hotel again.
This hotel is very conveniently located near the train station, but not in an especially interesting part of Geneva. The rooms are clean but somewhat drab and in some you hear street noise. The staff is forgetful and not particularly friendly. The safe in the room is not attached to anything! When I pointed this out, the desk clerk got defensive and said, "Well, we can't cover everything. Someone could just as easily come in and steal a TV! How's that for logic???
