Cool place and great location
We went for Queens Day, so we wanted to stay right on the Vrijthof Square. This hotel was practically on the square, yet was surprisingly quiet at night. The breakfast was good, the staff were friendly, and there are a lot of great restaurants & bars nearby. We would definitely stay here again the next time we are in Maastricht.
Great location, right in the center of town. Hotel itself is a bit outdated, needs renovation. Room was cold and difficult to get it warm (-5 deg. Celsius outside). Staff is friendly and helpfull
The best thing about this hotel is its location, just off the main square in Maastricht. And even though it was close by the town's nightlife, my room was quiet. That's good, because my room was so warm I needed to sleep with the windows wide open. While it maybe true that the main rooms of the hotel are air conditioned, my room (on the 4th floor) was not--and there were no vents that would have made it possible. Otherwise, no complaints. The breakfast spread was on par with other restaurants in this class. The room itself was plain, but comfortable. The bathroom and associated amentities were fine, if not fancy. The staff was helpful and spoke good English. And, as I said, the location was unbeatable. I would stay here again, only avoiding the heat of high summer.
