i was there on a very busy weekend and it seems there were not enough staff in the reception area. Staff were very pleasant and helpful when they were dealing with you, but were a little rushed. When I arrived the person that checked me in forgot to tell me about breakfast (time and place) and give me the wifi coce, I was very tired so forgot to ask. This wouldn't have been a problem, but there was no information in the room accept the fact that we needed to ring 9 for any type of enquiry, including the wifi code and room service. I rang and stayed on the line for 10 minutes at a time, in the hope that someone would pick up, the phone was never answered! I was there for one evening for work purposes, I was not able to use Wifi as I never got the code. This may seem like a small thing, but for business people who arrive very tired, need to be in contact with other colleagues around the world and have to get up early to work, this is very important.

Comfortable stay, good breakfast, friendly and accomodating staff, close to Alhambra and city center. Free parking can also be found in the neighborhood behind the hotel. Otherwise is €11 to park at the hotel. I would stay at Macia again.

Easy to found nice reception bus to Alhambra and downtown at the door very reasonable restaurant. Great breakfast

Great location to visit the Alhambra. It is truly down the bottom of hill to Alhambra parking lots...just minutes away. It is not close to center part of city of Granada, so would require driving. Great breakfast buffet that was included in our reservation. Rooms very clean. Bed a little hard, but noticed that throughout places in Espana we visited. Swimming pool and bar facilities very comfortable, decent food and drinks for the price. Overall stylish hotel for price we paid. Could actually use internet from the room or anywhere within the facilities. Parking easy and onsite but will pay an extra fee. Try the Arabian baths on the lower flow of the facility...it was a nice treat and have various packages for you to choose from. Would definitely stay there again if we visited Granada.

The hotel was 4stars overall. We like the beds however the pillows were small. Would be nice to have coffee maker in the room. For those who hire car, this hotel is recommended. Would be happy to stay there again.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff were very helpful and the internet blazingly fast. Parking was easy in the area and the bus downtown came every 15 minutes. We didn't even bother with a cab. The buffet breakfast was reasonable and if you just want coffee and toast, it was included without charge.

The hotel was a solid 3 star, maybe even 4, but the staff in the restaurant were very rude to us at dinner. We skipped breakfast the next morning after observing the same wait staff was on duty again.

Hotel located about 4-5 driving minutes from Alhambra. Very nice, clean, best breakfast.

The Hotel Staff was very Helpful , Buffet Was Good,Location of hotel was very good also

I was extremely displeased with the front desk service and people at the hotel overall. It seemed more like a 2-3 star hotel, than a 4 star hotel. Room quality was on par, but customer service skills were horrible. My check in took forever, when I asked questions about the city there was no real help offered (no concierge??), and every time I asked for something it was greeted with poor body language. Finally, don't be deceived from location. It is on outskirts of city, not that close to downtown.....I was deceived here

we had a good time

Key with this wonderful hotel is whether it fits with what you want to accomplish in Granada. Perfect situation if your trip is geared to the Alhambra site. A bit far if you are gearing your trip to the sites/sounds of the city of Granada. Has all the amenities and great front desk staff. Seems geared to business travelers and groups, so as a tourist you benefit. Drawback is the hotel isolates you somewhat to seeing Alhambra versus the sites/sounds of Granada. The bus trip is a bit further to the City than I would have liked from this location, although the bus stops are extremely handy to Alhambra and the City Centre. You do have to wait a bit for buses, or you go with taxis that do add up in cost to go anywhere. Long taxi ride and some decent expense to get to the Granada airport. A city hotel location near Plaze Nueva would provide great access to the airport and shuttles, as well as many regular convenient shuttles to Alhambra from another direction. No knock on this hotel, but would find something in the Plaza Nueva area for the 'full' experience and greater convenience.

Vacation visit with adult sons and their wives. Rooms exceeded our expectations. A wedding celebration was ongoing the weekend while we were there. Service was still very good. Visit to Alhambra can take longer than anticipated.

We had a great time at the hotel. The location was good if you wanted some quiet and away from the city area. A quick and easy bus ride into the city. Our only complaint was that the laundry service was not available. Granted it was January 1st, but a hotel that wants to market itself as first class should have that service available year round. The excuse we were given was that the laundry person was not working that day. Well....hire someone else to cover that day then. Aside from that would definitely recommend and would return to this hotel.

Driving to the hotel was not too difficult with a good map. However, NEVER try driving off the main roads in Granada. Worst drivers and the scooters are so numerous and close to you that you feel as if you are being attacked by a swarm of bees. Food was fairly expensive. Nice secure parking garage although the ramps were steep and not clutch-friendly. Very professional staff. Clean and fairly large room. Nice pool and sundecks with option for sunbathing in a grassy area.
