Not a bad value for the money, location is great. They need to adjust a few things, such as the interior aesthetics.

It is a plus to have a small kitchen with a stove and refrigerator when you travel a lot and you want to stay away from restaurant food. The location is also great, close to Lake Leman and the train station. Nice people at the desk, though powerless in decision making and hotel amenities. Clean sheets w one polyester blanket. The furniture needs almost complete repair, totally broken chest of drawers, dirty stove with non functioning broken knobs. Couldn t control radiator heat. It appeared that the place was previously used by careless long term users. No parking available to load/unload. For Geneva prices, it was certainly a deal.

The hotel is located right at the heart of geneva. It's small but the room I was in even had a kitchen which is a plus to make a decent breakfast since the hotel breakfast is expensive to be that simple.

great location and price for this old hotel. The best is kitchenete so you can make your meals. In the room are 5 beds so 5 people can sleep ( i was surprise) The hotel is located in the nicer part of Geneva . Close to shopping and marina and old town.

Hotel residance St James is perfect place to stay in Geneva. Very close to all main tourist atraction , old city, lake Geneva ,etc. From railway station walking distance is only 15 minutes , with bus line 5, or 8 ionly 5 minutes. Very friendly hotel staff , free WiFi as well public transportation

This hotel needs big improvement. Rooms are outdated so are the furniture’s. The price they charge for this room you can spend little extra and get better hotel. Avoid this hotel.

Nice clean, got ther early still accomodated me.Central location, staff very helpful.Definitely stay again.

The location, a block from the lake and two blocks from the bus line, and about four blocks from old town is great. It was a residence hotel that allowed cooking and even pets. However the rooms were not cleaned daily and kitchen lacked some necessities such as drain cover. The staff was helpful would bring things if you requested them. If you want luxury, it is not a good hotel, but if you want to save a little money cooking for yourself sometimes it is great.

Nice location in great walking distance from some of the nicer shopping districts. Easy access to the public transport system. Views are nothing special, but you can walk right out to the lake in 5 seconds for a great view. The living room is huge, the kitchen is nice, the bedroom was so-so, bathroom was a little tiny and gross. Overall, I rather liked it.

Great location right down by the water for a low price. Room not that great but location made up for it.
