This place has always served us well. Weve stayed there many times and will continue to stay there.
The hotel is currently undergoing remodeling. The staff is fantastic! Super friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The room had a balcony that overlooked the streets. It was nice! Would come again.
We recently booked this for a long weekend to celebrate 50th birthday and anniversary and were satisfied. The room was spacious and clean. Mini frig worked well. The first room they assigned us smelled as if someone had been smoking in it and we requested to be moved and they accommodated us quickly and without issues. Then our key cards wouldn't work but that was also resolved quickly. After these two things happening immediately I was worried about what they stay would be like but those ended up being the only issues and the rest of the stay was extremely pleasant. House keeping was on top of getting us more towels and coffee at our request. The rate we paid was reasonable and we would definitely stay again. We actually have a timeshare in Pigeon Forge but weren't staying for a week so opted to do the hotel thing and to our surprise were happy with our choice.
Arrived and found friendly staff to check us in. Easy to find, as it is on the main Parkway. Close to several shops, though that was not of interest to us. Nice beds. Quiet. Slept well. A bit older, but a very good value. Many restaurants close by. Liked the buffet at Reagan's Pancakes.
I was not expecting this nice of a room for the rate I had booked. They gave us a king with a kitchenette. Large and comfortable room. Very clean and the bed was very comfortable. We were put on the back side which your only view was the side of the mountain but that didnt bother us since we were out most of the day. The staff were very friendly, breakfast was hot and delicious.
It was good. Was able to get to quickly and have good accommodations. Need more sitting for the lower level.
We have stayed at Vacation Lodge many many times will continue staying there. The rooms have always been good and accommodating. The location of VL is very centrally located to many attractions. Dollywood is very close, Tanger malls, and Pigeon Forge attractions. Also, its a very short and nice drive to Gatlinburg. We have used VL as a hub for motorcycle trips to ride the tail of the dragon, just to come down and eat, shop, and relax, and on this trip we came down for some hiking in the Smokies. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast is always good. Me and my wife personally like the gravy and eggs day best but that's just our opinion. Its not promoted but just for a note, the woman that does the breakfast does a great job and there is a tip jar in the eating area. With that said, Tip the lady. She will not ask for it but deserves it. Pool looks nice even though we didn't use it. Not Splash Country but it'll keep the kids entertained. Stay at Vacation Lodge and you'll be pleased with your choice.
A nice comfortable room for our short road trip. Great location for easy access to all the local attractions, staff were friendly and helpful. Had no issues at all. Would certainly use again when we are that way in the future.
very good , Hot Rod run week Had a good short vacation.
The place is cheap and could use a few updates to the building. However, our room was VERY clean and felt safe and comfortable!
Great price. Great especially the balcony on the main street
Very clean. Very nice and helpful staff. Great location. Very comfortable beds. I only have two complaints. The water pressure was a little much. The sink threw water halfway across the room, and the hot and cold were mixed up, the other thing is there were no pictures in our room hanging on the walls, but there were holes and nails for them and the accent wall with the color on it looked horribly done. These aren't things the staff can really fix, but just wanted to make you aware. Overall, the hotel is great. Will probably stay there every time we go now, and highly recommend.
All in all, it was a good place to stay. We were there 3 nights and we enjoyed. The only negative thing was the breakfast. There was no variety and the breakfast room was pretty dirty. We decided to eat breakfast outside every day.
VERY DISSAPPOINTED IN BREAKFAST ROOM COMPARED TO OTHER MOTELS
This was not our first time here and will not be our last... We really like this place and its location... Breakfast is a pretty good bonus..
Room 330 was located upstairs in the back of the hotel. There is only one other room next door so you do have more privacy and less road noise, but definitely no view. No microwave, iron or blow-dryer. Staff was friendly, bed comfortable. We came to see the Hatfield and McCoy dinner show so all we needed was a place to sleep and this hotel met our needs at a good price.
Room was clean. Location was ok. Staff was friendly. The breakfast was ok at best. They seemed to always be out of something.
comfortable and the location accessible to many different restaurants and attractions would not mind staying at that location again. Highly recommended it.
Great stay especially for the price and location. Nothing fancy here, but exactly what we needed. Clean, good location, free breakfast, comfy beds - no real complaints for the money paid.
found a small bug on the bed,not sure if it is a bed bug , called the front desk, waited a long time until they sent somebody came and checked, said just a small bug in the mountains
