Writing my first bad review on Orbitz. It’s hard to find staffing throughout our stay. When we check in our rooms, we were missing towels and the staff had an attitude when she brought it to us. Website indicate they can fit 5 people and had rolling beds. We were pack like sardines can and no rolling beds available. We were told to empty all of our trash buckets and put it in the trash can located in the second floor. Never had that experience before, we typically checkout with trash in the trash bucket; first time this happens to us. Hotel is away from the main area but only less than 10 minute walk to everything. Overall, would not stay there again but location was excellent.

It was close to downtown gatlinburg and easy to walk to

The rooms was clean however the ceiling tiles were falling in the bathroom and there was holes in the wall, the fridge was frozen over. I went to get extra towels they said they didn’t have any and the ice machine was no where to be found. They let a person park there motorcycle on the sidewalk next to our room.

Photos and map location were were fake and not true and there was no mention of severe work being done that made everything a mess!!

No towels, used lotion and shampoo samples instead of new ones, floor was dirty, in order to use microwave or other appliances you had to unplug the lamp.

Location was great, not far from walking distance to everything. Only bad thing really was the bed was kind of hard but for the price it was good

Oh my the beds were so hard I couldn't sleep. They were like sleeping on a board. Went and bought an air mattress to put on top. It was fairly clean. The bathroom was clean. The floor could have used a once over with a mop. The room was serviced every day and we had ample towels. People should learn to pick up their dogs poo.

The room was worth the price you paid if the air worked correctly, but the room was very stuffy and smelled like an old basement. Luckily we only needed to stop in and sleep and gone after we woke.

Nothing special here. They offered a small breakfast why I don’t know because they are just off downtown Gatlinburg which is known for its breakfast restaurants. So We did not eat here. Room was decent sized, basic amenities, clean, ac worked, not a destination hotel - again you are in Gatlinburg. Mattress was comfy, not your typical cheapest known to man - not quite on par with what I have at home, but was decent and got good nights sleep. Short walk to main drag of Gatlinburg so you are off the hustle and bustle but close enough to foot traffic it and I’m fat so me no walkie walkie too far. Would stay here again.

Room was clean. You could tell updating faciliy was being done but still reminded me of a old hotel setting. Junk aie conditioners sitting beside the building. Pool was being updated. Dont plan on ever staying there again. Just not the kind of facility im use to staying at and i wouldnt have stayed this time if i could have gotten a refund andbit wasnt so late when i checked in.

We had to check out after one night. The first room they gave us, the heater did not work. The second room they gave us, the sheets and mattresses were yellow. The mattress sunk in the middle about 2-3", and looked like they were the original mattresses. We then went to the front desk and asked for a refund. They offered an "upgraded" room. We took the room because it was late in the day. In the room, we found a pair of boots in one drawer, about 12-15 trash bags in another, and an empty hair spray bottle on the floor. Also, between the night stand and the wall were gobs of dust balls and dirt. On the outside steps and the outside walkway to the rooms, were filthy, trash laden, vomit, cigarette butts. The breakfast was the worse!. We stayed in the Super 8 in Pigeon Forge last year, and it was flawless, but this year we wanted to be in Gatlinburg. We cancelled our stay after one night in this hotel and booked the remainder of the nights in the Pigeon Forge Super 8, which was excellent!

Defiantly great place for 3 guys on a road trip to stay

No toilet paper when I checked in, room was filthy, pool was under construction and to top it off the girl I asked to get me toilet paper gave me some snarky additude. This hotel is located almost on the top of a hill and is a litteral hike go climb if your going into downtown Gatlinburg. Save your money go somewhere else!

We stayed here last summer and had a great room on the second floor. Stayed two nights last week and had a totally different experience. The front desk check in woman was rude, said “hi” and that was it, she checked me in without speaking another word, handed me two keys and just looked at me. The room was disappointing, it was on the first floor, and later in the evening I found two roaches in the bathroom. That night two more appeared, and the next night two more were on the vanity and in the sink. The proximity to downtown was nice, but the room wasn’t kept up. We left at 10am that morning, and when we returned at 9:30pm that night, no room service had been done. I️ went to the desk for some towels and the girl acted like I️ was bothering her while she was watching TV. Wouldn’t stay again.

The bed was the lowest quality mattress I have ever felt. The shower had patches on it. It was so dirty we all wore sandals to shower. I signed a form saying no smoking but when I entered our room it smelled like a bar. I wouldn't stay here with a gift certificate

The free breakfast was above and be on what I.expected. the room.was awesome and clean. Bed was a little hard, but we.slept well. Will definitely stay again.

The hotel was very comfortable close to town and very clean enjoyed the breakfast in the morning and would recommend it to my friends

Great location. Hotel was a good place to stay and very inexpensive.

We checked into Super 8 Downtown Gatlinburg Convention Center the evening of Feb 14, 2015. We were immediately disappointed when we realized how far from the Parkway the hotel actually is. Before reserving the room the hotel description led us to believe the hotel was JUST off the parkway. While still considered "within walking distance" it did put a bit of a cramp in our itinerary timewise. That night after returning to our room and shortly after falling asleep, we awoke to a loud repetitive beeping noise. It seemed to be coming from the microwave. After attempting to "clear" the memory the noise seemed to subside...until 2 hours later when it happened again...this time we just unplugged it. A few other things we wouldn't normally complain about but since I'm on a roll and considering the money we spent I feel the following issues are worth mentioning: the beds were hard, the toilet didn't flush properly, tub would fill while showering and then failed to drain properly, exposed lighting in shower, cob webs in corners of ceiling and upon returning to our room one afternoon we noticed beds had been made but room had not been vacuumed and towels had not been replenished. Again, we usually don't complain, we just simply Don't return to or recommend the hotel to anyone but these were just too many mishaps during one stay to be passive about it. No complaints about the staff and I will say it would be worth considering if you're looking for somewhere quiet. Just consider above info first!!
