As far as the room, it was subpar, par at best. Several lights didn't work. The tile in the shower was absolutely filthy. The furniture was ripped and torn. The wifi in the room was nonexistent. Now for the staff down at the office.... piss poor pathetic excuses for staff. When we got there Monday night Oct 7th to check in for 5 nights through October 12th, we were told that our check out date was the 11th. Even with a confirmation email from booking.com they told us that there were no rooms or accommodations that we could have. Mitch the manager was non helpful, and said they had been booked for over a month. Which I guess is more important than our reservation which had been made way back in February!!!! I was on the phone every day of our so called vacation trying get it all straightened out. So I would stay somewhere else if your looking to not be shorted for a vacation.
The condo 3001 was nice but definitely needs a good deep cleaning! The tile walk in shower is nice but was dirty. We stood on towels to take a shower. No grab bars, no “holders” for soap, shampoo etc. My husband who has physical disabilities had a difficult time. The other tub/shower didn’t have a shower lever to turn the shower on. The sofa is well used & the love seat arms were torn. WiFi terrible. Overall nice but needs cleaning badly. I think they are booked through Quality Inn Creekside. Could be the problem??!
We are frequent guests of Summit Manor because of its prime location! This time, we stayed in Unit 2072. This condo was immaculately clean, the furnishings were beautiful, and the beds were really comfortable! This is a 2-bedrom, 2 bath condo. Our college-age son was traveling with us, and he had plenty of privacy. Being able to sit outside on the balcony was lovely, even on a rainy day because the outdoor furniture was extremely welcoming! We are able to park our car and walk to many attractions and great restaurants. There is an elevator in the condo complex, and then another elevator near the pool that takes you to the street level. This condo was everything we needed and more! We will definitely return!
I would not recommend this place to anyone! The place was so very dirty and the furniture was old and ripped up. The shower has black mold and looked like it had never been cleaned. There was a thick layer of dust on everything. The doors would not close, there was no toilet paper, no sheet for the pull out couch that was a joke to even sleep on and the washer and dryer was broken. Also the front office gave another guest our door code and they walked right in our room on us. The office was rude and not helpful at all.
I have stayed at Summit Manor multiple times over the past 9 years. Of the different condos that I stayed in, this one was not the nicest by far. Now, I must say that condos are individually owned and because this one was in need of some tlc, doesn’t mean the others are. I’ve stayed in others that were top notch. A positive for this unit is that they had high speed internet and a good selection of cable channels. Now for the negatives, the condo I stayed in had a 13” big back, tv/dvd condo in the second bedroom. The paint in the 2nd bathroom was peeling. The couch was run down and needs to be replaced. The shower head in the master bedroom needs to be replaced. Overall Summit Manor is a great place to stay and in a great location. My only suggestion is, always rent on VRBO or HomeAway. Booking through one of these sites or booking directly from an owner, you will not be disappointed. The owners on these sites actually care. This was a last minute trip for me and all the usually nicer condos were already booked. Send me a message if you would like to know what unit I stayed in.
It was very nice, just a block away from the main road and had a private balcony looking down town. Everything was up to par except the wifi. Apparently, the wifi equipment was very old, out date and did not work. However, the management provided a 20% refund for out stay. It's a perfect place to be in the crowd and then viewing the crowd from your private balcony.
A lot of these reviews are referring to their booking not being available when they arrived. This is not when they are booked with an individual owner. Please notice that only a few are listed with Summit Manor/Quality Inn. Many of the units are managed by the owners of the condo and they take pride in making their guest happy.
Booked stay with Hotels.com and arrived at location to be told they had overbooked by 4 people and that someone from Hotels.com should of contacted me. Staff seemed very little concerned that my family with 3 children had no where to stay on a Friday night at 7pm! I called Hotels.com and Agent took over an hr to find another property and had difficulty understanding what I was saying. I even called around myself and found a location providing the name and number and she got back on the line with a totally new option in the next city over. It took me 1.5 hours to be relocated on the phone. At one point the agent gave an option for some property owner to call me but said they didn’t have an opening which made no sense and acted like she was ready to end the call which was confusing. It was very frustrating that when I called back on Monday and asked to be accommodated for my troubles with at least a refund for half my stay that was denied and I was offered vouchers for a future stay which is a scary thought because this could happen again. I asked for a discount from the agent on the phone as well during my reservation issue and she kept ignoring my request. I went from a 2 bedroom condo for my family which was 4 adults and 3 kids to something that looked like it was out of a scary movie. Showers drained slowly, holes in wall, and one of our rooms the air didn’t work!! Totally ruined our weekend vacation! Reservations made should be honored your customers should not show up to their destination that was booked months ago to not have a room! After reading other reviews this seems to be a common issue with Summit Manor Condominiums do not book here!
Booked 2021 on VRBO just a few days before our trip. 3 nights, ~$650 plus $200 refundable deposit to be returned after 10 days. Owner was quick to respond and provided very helpful information and ammenties were great. Unlike most rentals where you have to bring your own, this unit was well equipped with dish soap, laundry detergent/softner, dish tabs, hand soaps, spices, coffee, tea, sugar, plush towels. Plenty of toilet paper. Plenty of dishes and serviceware. Complimentary bottle of wine. The furniture was brand new. Nice washer and dryer. Beds, sheets, pillows clean and comfy. Enjoyed the 2 patios with fans and nice patio sets. Nice tvs with cable and roku. Wifi with password. Very short walk to several restaurants. We didn't use the pool area. Husband filled tub in master but when he turned the jets on, funk came out so he just drained and showered instead. No biggie, probably would have been fine if he ran for awhile and refilled. Other than that, highly recommend this unit and would stay again when in town. Pics on the VRBO site are accurate. Recommend hitting grocery store before coming in town to avoid traffic going out and paying overpriced costs from local convenience stores. For example, 12 pack Coors bottles 14.98 vs max of 10.99 in ohio.
We have stayed here several times, some booked directly thru the summit manor website and some through vrbo, all experiences have been good stays. Housekeeping could be better on details but not so bad that I wouldn’t recommend this gem. It is right on the strip. You can park and walk to everything you need downtown. There is a pool and hot tub onsite. Each condo has a balcony with decent mountain/downtown views. Condos have full kitchens, washer/dryer, nice furnishings.
