I have stayed in the hotel multiple times, and it was once my favorite spot. However, during my last stay I noticed several issues. First, one bed in my room was so warped that two people couldn't sleep in it because we both rolled into the middle. When I went to sleep in the second bed I found key cards under the covers! This tells me that the sheets we not changed between customers. Also, the bathroom vent didn't work.

Great location..in the heart of Pigeon Forge but not very clean. The bathroom tub did not drain well at all and we had to wait 30 minutes for it to drain before the next person could shower. Management said they were booked and couldn't switch rooms and also didn't fix it while we were there. Mold on tub surround and ceiling. The sheets and blankets had cigarette burn holes in them. Hotel staff were pleasant and nice and it was quiet at night.

Staff was helpful breakfast was good. Room was basic but for the price was good.

The hotel was very old had to change rooms one time. Our key didn't work most of the time. We would have left if we had not paid in advance.

Overall it was fine but the price was higher than other motels of this quality so I expected a little bit more than what we had. The room was clean, linens and pillows seemed pretty new. Was comfortable but a tiny room, thin towels like you'd expect from a cheap hotel. Over all felt like a cheaper hotel in the forty dollar a night range and there were other rooms in the immediate area for that price and this motel looked exactly like them.

The hotel room was not as nice as I expected but it was clean and had a refrigerator and microwave. Both were dated. The bathtub did not drain well when taking a shower. The bathroom was clean and decent. The beds were comfortable. I picked this place for the price and location. We enjoyed our trip visiting Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.

Definitely a great place to stay on a tight budget

Me and my fiancé had a wonderful time. The hotel was very clean. The staff was very polite. The only thing I would say is the complementary breakfast lacked cleanliness toast and butter everywhere. It was a very good bang for my buck(: I would defiantly come again

No coffee in room as promised, then when it was requested had to set it up ourselves. housekeeping never replenished coffee or soaps, all four days we had to go too the desk and ask for supplies. Hardest pillows known to man.

We got to our hotel and the staff was very kind and welcoming. I was expecting to experience a nice stay and was looking forward to a clean comfortable room...but I suppose that "get what you paid for" thing comes back to get you in the end. The hotel was cheap, but that is it's only redeeming quality. We got into the room and ALL of the light bulbs for the lamps were burnt out. The floor didn't look like it had been vaccumed in several weeks...however at least the bathroom was clean. When we were getting ready to check-out the next morning two of the hired maids came pounding on our door (waking us up at 9:30 AM) asking us if we were going to be gone soon so they could clean the room. We weren't scheduled to check out for another 1 1/2 hrs. So needless to say my stay wasn't great...but it was cheap so can't argue with that.

We were near Outback and Olive Garden. We drove to Cherokee and back and had an adequate buffet. USA Today was given and had a great night's sleep. The staff was helpful, professional and friendly. Our room was clean! We couldn't believe the deal we got on a winter anniversary getaway! [...]

Saw three shows, the aquarium, and the Polar Express at dollywood. GREAT TIME

Better than many of the hotels in Piegon Forge for that price.

Well, like others with this economy, I was looking for a cheap stay, and I found it.. The cleche' "you get what you pay for" certainly applies here! I was told that I was getting a room with a "river view", not so. True, there was "stream" that flowed behind the motel, but you had to open the back door in order to see it. Not a window in which to view the so-called "river". I was given the option of "parking-lot view" or "river-view", of course, I chose the river-view, but the only window in the front of the room faced the parking lot. This was very deceiving. Our shower had only tepid water. We would let the water run for @ least 10 min. just to get the water warm enough to shower, when it did get warm, it would only last about 2 min. I could not recomend this motel to others. If I had the chance to do it over, would have gladly paid more, in order to have had a nicer place to stay.

This was to be our anniversary weeked and I booked a king bed. When I arrived all they had were queens [...] I was very disappointed but made the best of it because the room was very clean and I didn't want to go through the red tape of getting a refund[...]

Staff had a problem with English. Didn't get room cleaned one day, didn't get towels another day. Room was okay, but bathroom was too small and had mold. Location was good - had a room facing the river and loved feeding the ducks.

was staying here basically just for a place to sleep then check out. not recomended for a getaway by no means but definatly served it purpose.

Restful. Just not a very good continental breakfast. Comfortable beds and good service.

The staff was great. The room was very small and there was a lot of mold in the bathroom. The carpet didn't look dirty but the bottom of the baby's feet were black after her bath, from being on the carpet. The breakfast had only carbs, no fruit, no yogurt, no juice, not much of anything. The Econolodge next door to The Christmas Place is in a totally different class ! I would heartily recommend it to anyone. There were better looking motels with cheaper prices than the Orbitz rate we got.

no hassle, clean, easy check-in, helpful, friendly, great location for both attractions and aesthetics
