PROS: The location is great. You can walk to almost everything (and given the fact the trolleys don't show up half the time, you'll want to!). The price is not bad, considering the prices of other hotels along the River Road. Breakfast (while not great) was included, and hours available were reasonable. Staff was always very friendly. Pool was nice and quiet and hardly used (and clean) CONS: Housekeeping is very inconsistent. Rugs not vacuumed for 4 days or more. Back door left unlocked and ajar by housekeeping (and we were on the 1st floor!). Sometimes they'd replace soaps and sometimes they wouldn't. No rhyme or reason. Housekeeping would pour things down the bathtub, requiring someone from maintenance to come and snake out. The locks would get jammed and had to be reset. The television would malfunction. No information cards were left in our room with directions on how to work the 2 thermostats in the room. No info in the room on WiFi password, or breakfast times. On the 4th day we asked the front desk and were told that we should have information cards in our room. Shouldn't the housekeeper have noticed by then that they were missing and shouldn't they have replaced them? No card with tv stations in the room either. Parking is ALWAYS a problem, unless you get back to the room in the afternoon and don't leave again.

The bathroom fan was noisy and we could hear people talking outside on their balcony late at night. The location was also disappointingl

Room have been recently remodeled and we're very clean. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Location is very convenient and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. The only minus could be the breakfast, there were not many options.

The hotel is older but has been updated. The Beds are awesome and the room was very clean and modern. Loved the room had a full bath and a dressing area with another sink and vanity. Great location. Was able to park and walk where we wanted to go and didn't have to worry about traffic. Balcony was great. I would stay here again. Wished the kiddie pool was a hot tub but that wouldn't keep me away. The pool was clean.

When we arrived I was a little concerned when the sign said "Improving for you". The outside of the hotel is in fact plain but don't let that stop you! The rooms are VERY clean and quiet! The bathrooms have pedestal sinks, tile floor and shower. The beds are very comfortable. The TV's are probably 40 inch and new. For the price we got through Orbitz I was so pleased! The first night in Gatlinburg we stayed at a place that was over 200.00 a night and it honestly wasn't as nice as what I got here for 77.00 a night. Plus the employees at the front desk were so nice and went out of their way to make sure you were pleased. I would Def stay here again!

Convenient to everything. Easy access parking lot. Friendly and helpful staff.

The staff at check-in were very friendly and courteous..the hotel is located central to everything in downtown Gatlinburg. But, there was no hot water in the mornings. When we called, we were told there is just one hot water heater at the hotel.

Poor Wifi, toilet seat was loose, only ice machine was on third floor. Motel would be a good deal at $69.00.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating the rooms were older and needed to be more upgraded but it was pleasant enough for us and worth the price

This is an older hotel and shows its age however it's amazingly clean the bed was great and I can't say enough about the staff. I stay in hotels all the time and I have never felt more welcome anywhere

My stay was great. I was able to get a room at the last minute. I found a 2 queen size beds and a balcony room for $47. The room was spacious and comfortable. The only thing that lacked out of this place was the complimantary breacfast not enough options. Overall great location to the downtown area.

Hotel was nice and clean. I couldn't get the fireplace started but the heat worked excellent. Staff was very pleasant and helpful.

My husband and I always stay at this hotel when its just the 2 of visiting Gatlinburg. It's a quiet place, close to everything. Nothing fancy but for the $ it's fine.

It wasa great value for the hotel room great location everything was closed in walking distance would stay there again if we need to

A great hotel! The staff was very nice and knowledgeable. The room had great space.

Just passing through on the way to Cherokee, Good clean place, easy to find, friendly folks.

I had a great stay here! It was clean and exactly what I needed for a cheap one night stay in town. It was within walking distance of most of the atttractions and restaurants.

This small, cozy hotel is perfect for a relaxing stay. It's an old hotel but is very clean and the area is quiet. The staff was very friendly and accomodating.

Great location, can walk everywhere. Clean and quiet. Old building. Worth the money as long as you don't expect new fixtures. Breakfast limited to cereal and bagels but Hilton next door serves hot breakfast and has a bar and it is few feet away. Pool small but nice and clean.

This is not a luxury hotel, but an adequate place to stay. Convenient to entrance to Great Smokey Mountain Park and to walk to the downtown area of Gatlinburg. Off main street so not as noisy as some.
