Check in and out is fast, front desk personnel is nice. Breakfast not much choice but clean. Room ok not too clean, beds make noise when turn, not too comfortable. Good location.

Nice comfortable beds big room bathroom could be bigger

The hotel is nice, we stay each year. Room was nice, bed was harder than other rooms we have stayed in but we love the location staff and overall accommodations. Its one of the nicest places to stay, its quiet and safe.

Great hotel for the price! Awesome location! I would definitely stay here again!

Was worried after reading some reviews but what a pleasant surprise! Very nice staff, large clean room, great WiFi, extra towels and many pillows! Awesome location across the street from the Island and next door to a Friday's. A nice central location! We had a great four night stay and would recommend to everyone!

Staff was very friendly at check in. Clean bed, hot shower, great price. I'm happy!

Hotel is old.. needs updates. Our room was clean but the beds were so uncomfortable. You get what you pay for.

Clean, quiet & convenient location. However, the bathrooms are a bit small.

Very old but very clean. Good value and location. Directly across the street from the Island.

This hotel was worth the money as far as how cheap it was for a two night stay. I think they could update some of there rooms and clean a little better. Room had odor and first room the air did not get cold and shower filled up with bath water before shower even ended. We had to change rooms the next morning bur was a double instead of a king. The odor was terrible and the shape of the room was very bad. The front lobby was very nice and employees very friendly.

Great location, quiet for location. Room needs some TLC. Carpet fibers coming up, shower looked dirty. Ceiling looked moldy

Quiet hotel, very friendly staff, very clean rooms.

Dirty sheets on bed. Everything old. Too small area for breakfast. Nothing good to eat. No one keeping breakfast area clean

Staff was great! Everyone was very friendly and nice to talk to. They found out we were celebrating a birthday and gave us a complimentary appetizer for one of the restaurants there. Room was nice. Maybe a little outdated in style but I was there to have somewhere to sleep not to have something to look at. (; I would definitely recommend! Great price and great location!

it was a nice hotel just needs better beds they was very hard and the toilet kept running

The positives...it was close to Flap Jack's Restaurant for breakfast and across from The Island. The negatives.....non-smoking room had been smoked in. The front desk's answer to the heavy smoke smell was to hand me a bottle of air freshener. Furniture is way outdated and fabric is torn. Cigarette burn holes in one of the comforters. The floor was filthy. Dust in the corners of the room. Carpet was torn. Cigarette burn marks all over toilet and tub. The room was really disgusting but it was Thanksgiving weekend and nothing else was available so we chose to suck it up instead of driving 6 hours back home. I've stayed in older motels that were maintained and clean with zero complaints but this place was awful.

Great customer service, room clean. Bed a little hard.

We were in town for Quartet Cinvention at the Leconte Center. The location of this motel was great for this. It is located right across from The Island. If the weather would have been better, walking to The Island would have probably been easier than driving, but I didn't notice how well the crosswalks were laid out, since we didn't not walk. The only issue is when you pull out of the motel onto the Parkway, you cannot go straight across. There is a red light, but no direct access across. However, instead of pulling straight out, just take a left towards Flapjacks and go through a few stores parking lots and you will be down far enough to pull out and be able to cross the lanes and be in a good position at the light to then take a left into The Island. As for the actual motel, we didn't spend a great deal of time there, other than sleeping and getting ready for the day. If you intend to sleep a little later in the mornings, the staff rolling the carts past the door can be very loud, even with the air conditioner running. The carpet was pretty gross, but I'm hoping this is in their remodel plans for the near future. Water pressure was good. Hot water was in and out when showering, but wasn't noticable when using the sink faucet. The dresser drawers were not impressive at all, in fact, one of the drawers tried to fall out on me when I opened it. Good size refrigerator for this type of room. Ironing board cover needs to be cleaned or replaced.

Hotel room was clean, but not spotless. Sink was cracked due to age. Cobwebs were present on the ceiling. Bed was a little more firm than I would have preferred. Wifi did not work, but wasn't an issue for me. Front desk staff at check-in and check-out were very friendly and courteous. I would consider staying at this hotel again for a budget friendly vacation.

Hotel's location is good. Very convenient to restaurants and The Island. Rooms are very quiet compared to other hotels I have stayed at. Hot water and shower head could use some work.
