We were just looking for a low cost stay for a quick Gatlinburg get-away and the Green Valley Motel definitely served our needs. This motel was less than half of what other similar hotels were charging for the same weekend, which made us a little leery. However, the staff was very friendly upon check in and this motel worked out very well for us. The location was excellent, with a back way (via Jehu Rd.) as a shortcut to Veteran's Blvd to avoid the busy Parkway when we wanted to go to Dollywood or The Island. Yet, it was a perfect spot along the parkway to access Gatlinburg and the National Park. The Motel is definitely aged and has the musty smell and appearance one would expect from an older, low cost, motel. There were also fire extinguishers missing from their housings and the fire extinguishers that we did find were beyond their re-inspection date, which concerned my firefighter wife and I. However, overall, we would return to Green Valley Motel if the price was right.

The hotel was in a good location. But the couch was on the floor laterally no legs I'm short and it was to low for me.. The bed sunk down in the middle very uncomfortable..

arrived later than expected...key left on door ..no hassle checking on or out..room clean.

Should provide a breakfast of some sort for the money! Stayed for less the day before and provide fresh donuts!!

We had a very nice stay.Everyone that worked there was very polite. The room was very clean. We will definitely stay again.

Really enjoyed staying with green valley an I would stay again an will in the spring

Our stay at Green Valley Motel was not bad! We stayed in the King room with the jacuzzi in it. It was spacious, comfortable. We chose this room over other rooms and hotels because at the time, it was the only room with a jacuzzi in it that was right on the parkway. Unfortunetly, the room was rather run down. The jacuzzi tub was tricky to work with to heat up. We microwaved water and used the coffee maker to heat up water for it. Then we figured out that the faucet just needed to wait for 5 min every time it would cool down to heat up again. It was annoying. My boyfriend loves his water burning hot. The outlets in the room didn't hold my iPhone charger up though it did work for my boyfriends laptop. The fridge was small. The microwave outdated. It wasn't the best room but it was comfortable and did its job. I won't stay here again but it wasn't bad for a last minute idea. I would recommend to those that are very down to earth and not too worried about fancy this and that. It's a good stay and the staff were very kind. Right on the strip and it's closer to Gatlinburg.

If you don't plan on staying in the room too much during your vacation this is the perfect place to lay your head at night .. Hotel is near many attractions and is a good bargain for a quick vacation for a few days

Very convenient to the strip. Peaceful and cheap. Games and rides within walking distance, as well as a boot store that everyone needs to visit!

All was great. Room was very spacious and best of all no pet odor. We stayed because it was a pet friendly hotel and brought our own special dog Jackson. The room actually smelt fresh and was very clean. Only thing was that we were in a smoking room had no ash tray. Called office and said I could come retrieve one and did not offer to deliver it themselves. Also went to the pool with our Jackson and was told he was not allowed in the pool area, though no signs were posted stating that rule. Over all was a GREAT stay and will definitely stay again.

Coffee in the room would have made it perfect, and maybe a bigger parking lot. during the day empty at night totally full, but hey it is pigeon forge

1am dogs barking, girl next door screaming outside and cars speeding down sde road. Smelled nasty, floors nasty with trash under bed and furniture very dusty. Wallpaper peeling off, bathroom door looked like it had never been wiped down. Pulled nightstand back to plug phone in, and food was all over the floor. Man at desk was nice but told me a lot of their online reservations weren't coming through so make sure they get your reservation by calling. If I hadn't paid 69 plus tax I wouldn't mind. This hould be 39 or less a night even in pea season.

Front staff Earl was amazing however room was EXTREMELY dirty. Wallpaper coming off walls carpet filthy, flooring coming up in bathroom and roach poo everywhere. Will not stay here again.

You get what you pay for!!! The Green Valley Motel was a great find for last minute booking at a low price during peak season in the Smokey Mountains. The problem was that we had a $30 room but paid $62. The carpet was not vacuumed prior to our stay. In the bathroom, a leak developed above the toilet. At least the towels and sheets were clean and the bed was comfortable. The room does have a mini fridge and microwave. Earl at the front desk upgraded us to a room with a couch instead of two beds we wouldn't use. All in all, the room gave us a place to rest and clean up and we were able to enjoy Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg with more spending cash in our pockets.

[...]Motel was adequate but not great. Overpriced.

When I booked the motel I was told I would get Queen size beds and the room would be clean upon arrival. Instead we got 2 double beds and the room was dirty.Bugs on the bathroom floor, carpet was very stained and felt dirty to walk on barefoot,no shampoo,no coffee yet a coffee maker was in the room. I called ahead to verify if a blow dryer was provided and it is not. I forgot to bring soap, the soap in the room was so old it was discolored when unwrapped. You are very far from all the dinning and entertainment. There ad says close to all but you are not.Could hear the people in the next room during the night.Wanted to leave but no vacency available, big car show was in town. Would never stay there again ever.

The hotel staff were wonderful and the room was really nice for the price that we paid. I didn't like the location, but we did like the quiet and privacy. We will definitely stay at this hotel again.

it was ok but i will never stay there again

They charged us $80-$90 a night for a $30 motel room. It was horribly kept, lamp shades were shredded, buildings were old with much water damage. The smell of smoke was so strong, my son had an asthma attack and we had to leave and go stay at the Red Roof Inn which ended up being less money and 1000 times nicer. Horribly fraudulent depiction of services on their website. Don't be fooled by this flop house!

THE GREEN VALLEY MOTEL IN PIGEON FORGE TN WAS NO THE BEST PLACE IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR COMFORT AND CLEANLINESS. I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED IN HOW COLD THE BATHROOM WAS THERE WAS NO HEAT SOURCE FOR IT AND IT WAS OCATED ON THE OUTSIDE WALL. THE FUTNITURE WAS QUITE WORN AND DIRTY. AND MOST OF ALL THE BED WAS VERY UNCOMFTORABLE. I THOUGHT I WAS PARALYZED WHEN I WOKE UP THE NEXT MORING I COULD BARELY TURN OVER IN THE BED IT WAS SO HARD. AND TRYING TO GET A COLD DRINK FORGET IT. WE HAD TO WALK IN THE FREEZING COLD TO A DRINK MACHINE THAT WAS NOT EVEN WORKING THEN WNET TWO FLOORS UP OUTSIDE IN THE COLD AND FOUND THE ICE MACHINE DID NOT WORK EITHER. THE BEST THING I CAN SAY IS THE LADY WORKING THE DESK WHEN WE CHECKED IN WAS VERY NICE. I WONT BE COMING BACK TO THIS MOTEL. IT WAS JUST A PLACE TO SLEEP AND THATS ABOUT IT.

We thank you for your stay with us at Green Valley Motel. We take pride in our friendly staff. We absolutely do have a fire extinguisher that needs to be replace and are on top of it. We appreciate that you are making sure we are aware. We do however want to assure people that our fire extinguishers are at code and are not due for another inspection until December of this year. We have them inspected and replaced if needed twice a year. This is something that is checked by the state health inspectors in the spring and fall. If they were not we would be shut down. Again, thank you for staying with Green Valley Motel
