If your into an original built hotel this is the place to be. Not on the busy strip of Gatlinburg but also walking distance to everything. The office hours is 8am to 8pm so the owner was not pleased when we drove in from Alabama at 2am and we had to wake them up.

First of all the website has some incorrect information. The motel is only open 8 am to 8 pm daily and completely closed on Sundays. They do not have 24 hour front desk. We arrived at 9:30 pm and we're lucky after half an hour on the phone with this website that the owner happened to come to the office to check on things. The owner was very nice. The first room smelled like smoke. The owner was very kind to move us to another room the next day. Both rooms were very outdated. The rooms were clean but housekeeping did not come at all to clean or give us fresh linens.

there where matress outside of the rooms and our room had someone living in it that they kicked out and it was not ready. when we arrived at 7 p.m. the hotel was dirty and the staff was rude. We left and went home and they did not refund our money. lesson learned. we did not feel safe.

This hotel doesn't accept reservations from this site any longer!!! I was lucky that they just had a spare room available....If I would of know the location and the overall problems with this hotel I wouldn't of stayed there in the first place. I had no choice since I could not get a refund from paying through this site.

it wasn't a bad hotel i did see one or 2 fleas in the room but it wasnt infested with fleas. room smelt clean and looked clean. right behind the main strip of downtown. i was upset to find out that only one room had a jacuzzi. but overall not a bad place for the price.

First of all I want to start out by stating I am not a complainer. My husband and I generally try and find an inexpensive motel/hotel when we come to Gatlinburg cause we just need place to sleep. But this place was GROSS. When we checked in the lady was very friendly and told us she had upgraded us to a king size room. When we got to our room, the smell was horrible it smelled like a combination of body odor, cigarettes and mold. (this was an upgrade ouch) the bathroom had a shower head by no shower (not sure how that works out) they gave us one towel and one wash cloth. The lock on the door was something you would have on the inside of the bedroom door of your home one good wiggle and they would have your door open, we shoved a chair under the door and we swear their were bed bugs. and i also found out that when you book this mote thru Orbitsl you are charged more for the room. we paid $50.00 for three nights then booking thru the motel.. We left the following morning could not stay beyond one night if i could have given no stars on this place I would have

Everyone on the staff was friendly and helpful. They offered suggestions for local attractions and gave us several coupons. They took care of our requests immediately. The room had 2 queen beds and a full sized pull out sofa bed. We fit two adults and three kids comfortably. I noted they also accept dogs. The entire motel is nonsmoking, which was lovely. We walked everywhere in gatlinburg. The location is perfect!

On a good note the staff was nice but when we got to our room it smelled horrible and was not very clean. When my Husband went and said something to the woman working in the office she had someone come and spray. They were shocked at how bad the room smelled of smoke. He sprayed a lot of order-ban in the room, the only problem was that now it smelled so strong of cleaners it burned your lungs to be in the room. We had to wait outside the room with the door open for about 2 or so hours for it to air out enough to go in. The pool was nice.

Even for an older hotel it was not what I expected for the price I paid. The windows didn't have curtains only mini blinds and they wouldn't close all the way and the street light shined in the window all night. When we ask them at the front desk after the first night to fix the blind they never did. No remote for the tv, the chairs around the table didn't match, the key didn't work good in the door, had to put in all the way then pull it out a little before turning.

The room was not nasty but I have been in a lot better. The heat adjustment sucked, either froze or burnt up no comfort zone at all and the shower was the same way. When the neighbor turned on the water you ended up with ice cold or scalding hot. Walls are paper thin, hear everything that happened outside and even in the next room. Beds were wore plum out you get maybe 5 tv channels and could never stay connected to the Internet. Oh, the place is for sale so they are not putting any money back into the place.

When we first arrived (3:00 p.m. local time) I checked in and was given the room key. I went back to my car to move it to the designated parking spot when the hootel clerk came to me to let me know the room was nt cleaned and ready yet she said it would be about 45 minutes before the room would be ready(check in time is advertised as 2:00 p.m. local time. So we went off to wander for a bit upon returning the door knob needed some wiggling and jerking to get the key to open door. will not stay here again.

Great location for the money I was only 2 miles from Smoky Mountain National park entrance and was in walking distance from all the resturants and attractions in downtown Gatlinburg so I did'nt have to pay for any parking. Hotel staff very nice also microwave and refrigator in room plus a/c worked great clean room and pool a great stay for the money!!

W etook in the sites in Gatlinburg and went across the mountain to the Cherokee Reservation

we were in for a wedding and the hairdryer and phone were not working. the staff did nothing to rectify this after being told. the room was disgusting that i drank just to get the thought out of my head because the town was packed. i ended up cleaning the tub myself after getting comet from the staff just to take a shower. wouldn't recommend this place.

this is by far the worst motel I have stayed in at gatlinburg. the room was small, parking was limited, the room itself was dirty, and to top it all off there were bugs in the bed. the staff never came to clean the room, nor give us clean towels. the first towel I picked up in the restroom had stains on it from a previous visit. our room almost never had hot water and the bathroom was so dirty I would not get into the tub. I would never stay in this place again it would ruin my vacation. this isn't the hotels fault but we had someone try and get into our room in the middle of the night. from inside my room I can hear everything above me and beside me in almost all of the rooms. I could hear intimate details about other travelers in the same hotel. it was very distracting and made sleeping very difficult.

Very nice staff but they are not the greatest at cleaning your room or giving you the appropriate amount of toiletries.

good for the price. Nice staff but i didn't really need them much. Quiet location but within walking distance to main strip. I'd stay again for sure considering the price was the cheapest one in the area.

Hotel staff entering our room twice using their pass key without knocking while we were in the room, which was very invasive and unexpected. On sunday they were doing construction maintenance all day and weed eating. Manager had a rude attitude towards guests and was aggressive during conversations. We were not very impressed with the staff at this hotel!

Room was ok, The price was great.

Just a short over night trip. Fine for me. Nothing to write home about.
