Starting with check in bad bad customer service/getting on elevator dirty/Hallway leading to room not clean/getting into room first thing you seen was a broken mini blind on door parts hanging down/shower had mold in corners/ when we did lay down the fire alarm went off for close to an hour when calling the front desk the lady was very rude. I stayed here a couple of years ago and it was great never again.

Great location at entrance to park and walking distance to all of downtown. Buffet breakfast is good.

We enjoyed the location and the pool. Good breakfast.

I put a quick get-away together for the family together with only a couple days to finalize it. I was worried we'd end up paying out 'the nose or staying in the Bates Motel. I was very surprised to find the Clarion at the rate that was available. Although it's a little more pricey than some places in Gatlinburg, it was worth it to me. Right at the far end of the strip, we were able to walk from our hotel down to all the great places we enjoy visiting when we're in Gatlinburg. The room was nice. The bed and bedding could have been better, but I've been spoiled by some very nice hotels around the world. The room had a great hot tub and we took advantage of it! The except parts when we walked in the hotel from the parking lot, one of the attendants was taking sheets from the dryer and used the fresh sheets to wipe his face after he'd been running around outside. I had mistook him for just enjoying the fresh from the dryer smell until my wife pointed out what he was doing. The other problem the elevator is horribly slow. We took the stairs quite often because we waited too long every time we cued the elevator. One time when we did get on, it took a weird route to the top floor then stopped on every floor on the way down. I would have figured some kids had pressed all the buttons, but none were lit and weird things like that happened to us and a few other guests a few times.

the hotel and location was great. The problem I had was that the Clarions walk in rate was $99.00 per night and the discount booking company charged me $119.00 per night. I thought the discount booking company had the best price. Very disappointed with the discount booking company will not book with them again.

We stay at the Clarion for a weekend get away. It was clean, great breakfast and great location. Would definitely stay again.

I booked a room with Clarion for one night to enjoy some hiking on a few Smokies trails. The experience was just what I needed - but nothing more. It was a good deal for a great location on the Parkway - near the west end, close to the road trails up into the mountains! Of all your options for rooms on the Parkway, Clarion should be considered - its more pricey than some of those cheap locations, but those look very sketchy - Clarion is at least a decent option that feels safe!

The hotel was in the prefect spot in gatlinburg. Walking distance to everything. The only complaint is the air conditioner in the living room wouldn't get cold so it felt like an oven but in the bedroom it was great!!! The view of the back of the hotel wasn't good. All you looked at was the parking lot. Everything else was wonderful

Despite "No surprises! No fees at check-in" statement, hotel charges services fee of $12.00 @ day.

Extra service charges not included in total price.

The hotel is clean, comfortable and well located. The thing I enjoyed most was the ability of parking the car and then either walk or take a trolley to different places. It's also at the end of the main strip and you can go to Pigeon Forge using the by-pass without having to go through town and it's right at the entrance to the Smokey Mtns Park.

Location of this hotel was perfect. Great breakfast and staff.

If you book on here the hotel charges you an extra 15 a day for security which is bogus. Still cheaper on here with this fee though just beware.

Enjoyed our stay, nice room....loved the balcony. Great downtown Gatlinburg location and good breakfast.

The location was great. The room...not great. I certainly don;t feel we got our money;s worth. I expect a $200 room to be great. Our room smelled musty, like someone has smoked and then they had cleaned. The toilet paper holder was broken, alone with the lampshade and the blind to the balcony door. The smoke detector was hanging off the wall and there was a big hole where it should have been. There apparently had been a water leak as there was a stain on the bathroom ceiling. Will never stay there again.

Staff very pleasant. Room nice and clean. Excellent breakfast. Location is great!

For the price, double what we normally pay at a much nicer hotel, we will NOT stay here again. We booked through an online booking and paid in full. We had our confirmation and receipt with zero balance. When we arrived, we were told we owed a $16.00 hotel fee. Argued the charge but paid it. We arrived early so at least we were allowed to go ahead and check in. The room was less than high quality for $189 plus tax and fees, $229. A light was out in the bathroom. The toilet paper holder was broke. The toilet would not quit running. The blind on the balcony was broke and we were on parking level with a car outside our balcony. The lamp shade by the bed was badly broken and the smoke detector was hanging off the wall. When I gave my list at checkout, the clerk, I'll tell maintenance. No....won't go back!

This hotel is at the furthest ind of the Parkway (main drag). I was able to walk to all the attractions on the main drag. That saved on parking charges which usually were $10.00 in most of the public lots. The hot breakfast was good, not great. When I checked in I was told there was a $15.00 + tax per night "resort fee". We left an item behind when we checked out (pair of shoes) and had a difficult time getting it when we drove back to the hotel. My guess is it was in the housekeeper's bag. This was my first time in Gatlinburg, so I had no idea where I was staying is relation to the attractions I wanted to partake in. The location was ideal.

This was a really nice hotel and the staff was so helpful and friendly. Great walking distance to all restaurants and stores. The breakfast was excellent with cook to order omelets. The pool was very nice and private. The only negative thing is that the carpet in the 3rd floor hallway was in need of stretching as it could be a trip hazard. Would definetely stay there again.

The room was clean, staff was super friendly. Only complaint was indoor pool was not attached to the hotel. It is actually in a separate building.
