Convenient to the shops and staff friendly. The bed was hard as a rock though.

We had a room on the river but the river was way down which of course not the hotels fault! Had a pleasant stay. Easy check in and out. It is right in the middle of downtown but because it is such a large hotel, it is almost secluded. It appears to be an older building but very well maintained and clean.

food was good a nice time lots to see and do traffic is busy shows to expensive. All military dont have ID card Ive been out since 1981 with 12 years in eveyone wont give military discounts with out Military ID card like the Aquarium in Gatlinburg so we didnt go

We were very satisfied with how helpful the staff was and how clean the room was upon arriving and throughout our stay. It is an awesome location; easily could walk to any restaurant or attration we wanted to. I would highly recommend this hotel for the cleanliness and the location. We definitely plan on staying there again!

The hotel was centrally located and comfortable, exactly what we needed for a girl's night out.

We were very happy with our accomadations, very quiet! Best stay so far, in downtown Gatlinburg!

The hotel is obviously OLD. Sheets were dingy looking. Bath cloths were thin! Loved being able to hear water in the Little Pigeon River. That a was relaxing!

The Hotel employee's were friendly & our room was very nice & clean and so glad they have a guest laundry mat to wash clothes. we will come back to this hotel again.

The hotel met our expectations and staff service was good. The only problem we had was getting off the property because there isn't a traffic light to help us. I witness an accident on my last day there.

I loved that it had a playground for children. Absolutely loves the raging creek

The room was as advertised and easily accessible. We loved the balcony overlooking the river and the walkway along the river that loops the island. Lots of ducks and ducklings swimming around. The bathroom was small and I can't imagine someone much larger than myself (5'6, 230 lbs.) being able to sit on the toilet. However, the shower head more than made up for the smallness of the room. Most hotels have a cheep head that either sprays too narrow and hard or too wide and soft. They actually used a head I would install in my home.

Hotel was nice and clean for the price. The rooms could use a little update but overall I would stay here again. Housekeepers are great. Breakfast was awesome.

Very noisy, could hear neighbor filling their ice chest. A tip envelope is conveniently left for use. I would prefer a well paid staff to clean my room, equal to the level of service the hotel expects to provide.

Being located near the end of the parkway let us walk from one end on one side and then back on the other side and see everything. The location on the island gave us fairly quiet space with a stream, shade, and lawn out back. We also had comfortable pillow top beds, a couple brick walls that kept noise down, and a nice patio outside. We’ve traditionally gone to Gatlinburg every 3- 4 years for the past 25 years and always search a new hotel. This was the pick while paying rack rate and could not have been happier. Rooms are quiet and very comfortable. The housekeepers’ facility was next door and did not hear them at all in morning – Thanks! This is now our go-to place for future visits. By the way, ignore the VERY FEW negative reviews. You can’t make everybody happy.

Hotel was nice. Bathroom was small but workable. It's in a great location. My husband don't really get out and walk but he walked all over cause he seen how local and close we were to every thing. We were literally a minute from everything.

Love the proximity to the main street - we walked everywhere we wanted to go. The river running right next to the hotel was really nice. Room was a little dated but that didn't bother us. We've stayed here several times and will definitely come back.

Loved the location we could walk anywhere downtown. Our room was very clean and our house keeper was really on top of things and friendly. The breakfast was good they had strawberry waffles the only complaint was our door was hard to shut and open. Our balcony was nice too.

I love this hotel! Third time staying here. Got a different/better room this time. Can't wait to go back!

I love this hotel! Second time my boyfriend and I stayed here. They even gave us the same room! It's so close to everything! This is the only place I want to stay when I visit Gatlinburg, from now on!

First time staying here! loved it! definitely will be back!
