When we walked into our room we were very pleased at first. We kept finding more and more issues which eventually led us to leave a night early. There was mold growing on the grout in the shower, bugs and spider webs above one of the beds, cereal on the floor along the beds. Under the entertainment center was completely disgusting, it obviously hadn't been cleaned in a very long time and had cereal scattered underneath.

Air conditioner was emitting horrible chemical smell. Got up in the night to got outside for fresh air. Chair pad had a ten inch stain in it. Bathroom sink was clogged. Warm water in the tub instead of hot water. I would rate his hotel at a two on a scale of one to ten. The people at the hotel could seem to give a darn. Never book Bayside Inn.

We had a wonderful stay! Beautiful view. Comfortable rooms/beds.

I drove all day to get to the hotel late in the evening. I was greeted by a very kind staff member who politely told me I didn't have a reservation. Apparently Orbitz never sent my information to the hotel. She was kind enough to find the customer service number and after dealing with customer service was also able to get me a room. However, if I had arrived during peak season I would most likely have been out of luck and sleeping in my car. The hotel itself is set right on a main road, a little noisy, but not too bad. The bed was comfortable and the room was nice. I loved the balcony overlooking the river and had my free breakfast out there every morning. Next time I visit Gatlinburg I'll stay closer to the main shops. It's nicer to be able to walk to the downtown area.

Will return I love this place the balcony is wonderful the river view is so relaxing I just feel comfortable here

Hotel within walking distance of downtown and attractions. Our room was quiet and comfortable. Our only complaint was that it could use new mattresses, they are clean, but very soft. Indoor pool and balconies over stream were nice. Hotel is on the trolley route, we never used car during entire stay. We saw a black bear across the stream one evening, apparently it happens often.

Traveling alone and I felt safe. Elevator is too small. Breakfast included was nice.traffic can be heard which is why I couldn't give higher rating.

Close to everything , i will recommend to everyone want to go to Tennessee this is the best place for a family have fun

Overall I was pleased with the hotel. Especially the really nice breakfast budget. The beds were really comfortable and clean covers. The only problem I had was the shower/tub. It was up to my expectations as car as cleanliness.

The room had a wonderful view. The staff was very pleasant. The breakfast was good. Hotel conveniently is located near a trolley stop.

We enjoyed the King sized bed and thought the fireplace added charm. The balcony off the back gave us a gorgeous view of the rushing river and mountains. The room was clean and smelled clean. Mind you, we were in a no-pet, non-smoking room. Good parking, nice indoor pool and outdoor patio with fireplace for folks to mingle. The maid service was superior, and in fact we left the maid a tip and a thank you note, which we've rarely done. The free breakfast was a full meal, not just continental. The downside: bathroom was small and could use some updates. We were close to a trolley stop, and could get a ride into the heart of Gatlinburg with little waiting, but finding a ride back seemed futile. We were about a mile walking distance from there, and after walking miles through town all day, the walk home wasn't always fun. Fortunately, we do a lot of walking, so it was doable. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and the hotel accommodations!

This hotel was not worth what we paid for, the location was Ok but I would not stay there again. My pillow was soiled, there was a hole in the celing in the bathroom, the heating lamp was missing the knob in the bathroom and the toilet was not secured to the floor. Overall this stay was one of the poorest I have experienced in a long time.

Great view of the river and close to downtown Gatlinburg

first of all I like to thank the Baymont staff they were outstanding. The view from the hotel room was breathtaking the location was breathtaking everything about the hotel the location and the southern hospitality was amazing We definitely will stay at the Baymont next time we're in Gatlinburg Tennessee

friendly staff, great location right between gatlinburg and pigeon forge, walking distance to gatlingburg strip, balcony above river was peaceful and relaxing, clean room, microwave and refrigerator in room was very convenient

Excellent hotel, overlooks the river. Staff was very courteous, hotel was clean and well-kept. Hot breakfast with biscuits and gravy, sausage, and eggs. Only con i have with the hotel it is just slightly farther from the main stretch of Gatlinburg. It is roughly a 10-15 min walk away from all of the other shops/activities

This place has poor customer service, bad rooms, run down and is very hard to get into and out of the location. THe breakfast is ok but they serve powdered eggs. THe room with hot tub is a waste of space and money. They have a big shortage of parking. If you come in late at night you will not have a place to park at all. We will never stay there again.

Right at the start of the strip[right as you enter town] so you wont deal with a ton of traffic, as long as you don't mind a little walk to all the attractions, the location isnt all bad. Not a horrible place. the rooms need updating as the fireplce was falling apart and the bathroom had a cracked sink and mold in the shower. It has a nice view of the "river" running out back. Overall: Not a bad place to sleep, but I would not want to be stuck in it if there was bad weather, not that comfortable.

besides great from balcony the bathroom is to small

Our check in was fast and easy and we actually had a room we booked with king bed, nonsmoking, riverview.Room was worn and dated but clean.Traffic noise was a problem but the river was beautiful to view and hear.
