The location can't be beat - literally at the Spanish Steps and a stone's throw from the Metro stop. The staff was excellent and the hotel had a very nice feeling to it. It's more of a guesthouse - don't expect a big lobby and the door to the street is barely marked as a hotel even - but the payoff ...
First time in Rome, little over a week. Terrific trip. Della Nazione is a well managed medium sized hotel with a friendly staff, comfortable rooms, decent beds, good breakfast. etc. The key point is that it is two blocks from a major downtown bus stop (with 6-8 lines I guess} and it is an easy to ...

This hotel was a hidden gem! It is gorgeous with amazing staff! We could not have been happier with this experience. So glad we took a chance on a small hotel!!
We had an incredible experience at the Building Hotel in Rome. Right out of the gates, we were welcomed and given great, personal insight into the city's gems, best local dining and options for sightseeing. Every question and concern that we raised during our week-long stay was greeted with the utmost care and thoughtfully addressed. The hotel is located close to Termini Station (two minute walk), which provides access to and from the airport as well as the rest of Italy via rail. This makes planning excursions very easy. The spa delivered on every front. It was intimate, relaxed, professionally managed and extremely convenient. We visited it twice during our stay. The bar and hotel restaurant had tasty treats and exceptional service. We started and ended most of our days there. The pictures and positive reviews you see online are accurate: nothing is lost in translation. This is a hotel we plan to visit again. Having walked through the entire city, nothing else would make better sense!
Free Parking, breakfast was an event each day, it was that good and included with the room, fitness center and pool and very comfortable room. Mario, the concierge was attentive, and knowledgeable as was the entire staff.
The hotel Zone is located in a mostly high density residential area which safe and fairly quiet. Hotel shuttle will take you to city center and back. Parking garage is on site. Friendly staff and modern facility provided a accommodating stay.
