Walking distance from the beach and near a lot of food restaraunts, pool was smaller than it appeared online, but it was very nice, great location

Lost sleep rat in room woke me up at 3:30 am not a good place

Pro-great location Con-dirty and neglected. Room has smoking smell. And bring your own bed sheets.

Stayed here 3 years ago and figured it would be another great experience. But they hotel has been run into the ground. Sticky stuff on the sinks, end tables and floors were filthy. A/C nevere cooIed the rooms. I had my kids walk around in their sandals because the place was infested with baby roaches. All in all a horrible experience. Very Loud complex

The room was nice and clean, very roomy and the staff was very friendly.

Room was dirty and stinky. Shower had hairs in it. Gross!!

We stayed for two nights. The first night I killed three cockroaches, the bathroom was not clean, the bathtub walls were dirty as well as the floor tiles. Some floor tiles were loose. Breakfast was included with the rate, we didn’t finish breakfast and we went out looking for a restaurant to get breakfast.

Digusting- didn't want to sit on the furniture, much less sleep in the bed!!! Cancelled my reservation and went to the courtyard Marriott

Based on the price of the hotel we expected a lot more than we received. Upon entering the room we were hit with strong chemical smells, then we saw the dead bugs everywhere. The room was obviously not well cleaned after exterminating. There was two large holes in the headboard on the bed. The advertising flyers were several years old and some of the area attractions were not even in service. The advertised complementary breakfast was a joke. There was no coffee or Orange juice, the dispensing machines were out of order. It appears that the hotel has maintenance problems and could use a facelift. That said, The hotel staff was very pleasant and nice.

Walking distance to beach and resteraunts, large rooms, easy parking lot, fairly nice pool. But the hotel staff was very rude and it was difficult to get clean towels. Breakfast was only a waffle maker and coffee.

good location, near the seawall and the beach. good price and decent parking lot. Breakfast was simple but good for a three star hotel, waffles, orange juices, cereals, milk, coffee, hot tea, some baking sweets. Their lobby computer was not working but they help to print out boarding pass from their front desk computer. I would stay here again since it is such a great price compares to nearby same rating hotels. some good restaurants nearby also.

The breakfast wasn't good, no hot food at all, rooms were kinda dirty, Windows wouldn't stay open, staff weren't very polite.

Decent price. Worth it if your on a budget. Pets allowed. Breakfast is not very good. Wifi is not completely reliable, it cuts in and out

We've stayed at this Travelodge before, so we weren't hesitant about staying again. The rooms are clean, check in was quick and easy and what everyone wants to hear, the beds are comfortable. However, the hotel is under construction. And while I understand that construction is necessary to keep the hotel looking nice, putting us in a room exactly where the constuction was happening wasn't my idea of an ideal stay. The workers congregated in front of the window, their trash and scrap material was right outside my door, they worked until dark and started at 7 am. The work being done was no doubt on the other side of our wall, and the force of the drills so strong that the ceiling was dropping pieces. Surely there was a different room available? That room should have been unavailable. I am very disappointed.

The late night staff was excellent, room had a little urine smell at first but i sprayed lysol and it disappered. Beds were comfy and it was very quiet. Excellent location to the seawall and resturants as well as krogers. Will recommend as well as come back for my next visit to galveston.

close to the beach , nice staff , good breakfast , clean room

There were loud people outside and when I asked the guy at the front desk if they were going to do this all night he blew it off and just handed me my keys. The actual room was dirty and not well kept. All night there were people outside. I literally put a chair up to the door. The locks were loose and it was obvious, which makes me question why the staff hadn't fixed them.

A/C don't work room smealls REAL BAD stay away!...

Overpriced for what you get. Good location though. Can walk to the beach and to eat and to shop. Hotel could use some sprucing up. The pool is way to small.

Overall, really nice place for the price. Right across the street from the ocean seawall. Plenty of amusements and good food around as well.
