Very clean and current on suitable comfort with peaceful surroundings.

Can't believe that this was a Super 8! We had a great stay.

EVERYTHING WAS JUST GREAT.. CLEAN.. CLEAN.. CLEAN... EVERYONE VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. JUST A ALL AROUND GOOD PLACE TO STAY

We booked 2 rooms. Mine was fine, but my sister-in-law had several problems with her room. First of all, she was placed in a room where a cnacer patient had been staying. The staff moved the patient to another room and placed my SIL in that room. This should not have happened. The patient should have stayed in the room that she'd been for a week. My SIL found the room unclean (spit on the mirror and bathroom counter), no clean towels, and the bed did not have clean linens. When the patient's grandson came to take her to her chemo treatment, the front desk staff gave him an access card to the room that my SIL was in, not the newly assigned room where the patient was. He walked right in without any problems. This should have never happened!!

So my family and I arrive at the hotel around 1am. We grab a luggage cart from the lobby, pack it full, and head inside. 30 feet inside, and much to our chagrin, we find stairs, no elevator. Seriously? So we unloaded our cart, wondering what good use it had served, and trudged up the stairs. If our room hadn't been 2nd on the right, I may not have survived.

Stayed here while visiting Galveston, it was half price in comparison to the hotels on the island and it was much better than most. It's a 30 min drive from the island but it's worth it. Would definitely stay here again if in town.

the only things we had problems with is the bath towels where way too small about 12in x 18 in and only had 2 of them, not enough to dry off on for med to large people. There wasn't any reg tv channel guide avail, only hbo. Also there was no room comment cards. All other hotels we stayed in had enough coffee in the room to make 2 pots, this one only had enough for 1 pot

friendly staff thanks enjoyed

The hotel is right off of 35, which is nice. The features look good and what you get for the price is good too. But the non-smoking room that I got smelled like an ash tray being thrown in my face when I walked in. The cleaning service was very pushy, and I found a big plastic drink bottle on the floor when I entered the room. There is room for improvement to make this a great 2 star value, but for this experience they are almost a 1 star.

I went to visit my boyfriend but my parents came along too so I picked Confort Inn for the location and the price. The staff at the hotel was very friendly and nice. Although, it was a small town, the condition of the hotel was in good condition and doesn't look wrecked downed. I have never travelled to a small quiet town for visiting friends or family and this experience is by far the best. The location is closed to many restaurants and it is not far from other citys such as Pearland and Houston was only 45 minutes away.

Thank you for your stay at Super8 in Alvin! We are very happy to hear that your stay here at Super8 in Alvin was beyond your expectations! unfortunately it is Super8 corporate regulations to only have continental breakfast, but we do hope that changes in the near future. Again, thank you for your stay and hope to see you again very soon!
