I was very hesitant because the pictures make it look a little scary. When when we checked in the young lady at the front desk was very nice and accommodating. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the VIEW!!! Grab your coffee in the morning and cross the street to heaven! We were able to walk every where we wanted to go because the hotel was centrally located on Seawall Blvd. I have to say for a hotel that was WAY under budget- I would recommend to anyone who wants a budget friendly hotel with the view of a million dollar hotel!

This place is great if your looking for a fair priced hotel just to get some good sleep and easy access to the beach!!

I was easily able to book a room at the lat minute.

It has a great location but the hotel cheek in woman is rude and don't know how to act. The man who work the late shift was great and very helpful. There is not a pool and poor lighting in the bathroom. It's a ok hotel hotel but would not come back because of the rudeness. Windows were also dirty, remote to tv did not work well. Breakfast was not that great.

A place to stay if u just need to crash for the nite, but is not a quite place to stay if u want peace, and quite, lots car noise ,people passing by making loud noise, but near lots of restaurants ,and of course the beach across the street

Room was fine location was awesome breakfast good nothing fancy but enough. Great place for the price.

The hotel was pretty nice for the price but they did not have hot water

Just wanted a clean room to spend the night before boarding a cruise ship in the morning. That's what you get. Nothing fancy or special but a clean room. Walking distance from food and drink. A plus is that is right on the beach.

I've used this hotel several times when I have been down to Galveston and it is a no frills experience but that's also what you are paying for. The location is on the beach and a few minutes from everything on the island.

The price is cheaper than others during weekdays but not weekends. The room is abit small and look old but still look clean. And this hotel just right in front the beach. If u not care about the class of the hotel you can choose this hotel good price good location.

The personnel were great, the room well could be updated but otherwise we had a GREAT time and enjoyed the view.

Everything we needed was there. Nothing more, nothing less. Good for what we paid for.

everything was great and near the ocean and other attractions

everything was great! no problems at all close to the beach and other places to eat and shop

I is an older hotel but it was very satisfactory, the room and bath was on the small side but we weren't entertaining so it was just fin. The staff was very helpful and the room clean enough. It is right across from the beach and close to the pleasure pier food and bars. It was a enjoyable stay, the next time we will stay longer.

On the beach at the Gulf of Mexico. What a waste. Needs cleaned top to bottom, painted top to bottom, Towels, Mattresses, Pillows and carpeting replaced. Better security needed.

The first thing the desk clerk did was give me wrong directions to the state park. All I needed was to be pointed in the right direction (there were only 2 choices) and he couldn't even do that. Luckily the island's not that big and the ocean view was nice as I drove from one end to the other. The room was small and tidy but very much in need of updating. I don't mean it needed new pain and bedding, I mean the fixtures were very old and beat-up. The tub was especially nasty;not because it was dirty but because it was so old. There was rust everywhere and the plaster was cracked and scratched. The worn out fixtures were tolerable but what was unforgivable was that they didn't clean the room or bring me any fresh towels on my second day. Is it no longer expected that they will come in and at least make the beds? I was really disgusted by the lack of service.

Thiis was the most disgusting room I have ever stayed in . Very dirty. Toilet was full of fecies. Tub had a big gob of hair in it. Went to plug in our phone and there were dust balls all over. Had to have them come and clean room and change sheets before we could stay there. Our total bill was $160. We were stuck since we had rtaken a taxi there and already paid for it. You should never have a motel like this on your site. Very bad. This also is one of my first reviews I have ever made..

This was the worse place I have ever stayed at. The rooms were little bitty. When I booked my room on I book a double with two queen size beds. When we got there the rude clerk up front told me we were getting a single instead. The bed was only a full size with dirty covers the mattress had brown stains all over it and the fridge looked like someone poured grease down the front of it. The table in the room had a broken leg and the shower was nasty with rust stain and the shower curtain was awful I didn't even want to shower. Also the door didn't close all the way unless you slammed it. This was the worst trip I have had in a long time. We really over paid for this motel. I would not recommend anyone stay there.

If your looking for somewhere that is beach adjacent on a budget, it doesn't get much better than this. It does have a fridge and flat screen tv, however the rooms are really worn down and small. There is no pool, but that doesn't matter too much when the beach is about 50 steps from your hotel door. For somewhere to sleep, shower, and change its ok, but thats about it.
