Pros: walking distance to the beach, the staff seems like they're trying. Nice view from balcony. Cons: not clean. Stains on couch in room. Furniture in lobby was ripped. It had an overall dingy vibe. Fridge didn't work. Breakfast was lame. Milk sitting warm on counter.

If you want something across from the beach, this is the perfect location. We were within walking distance of everything!!! Great view of beach from balcony. Overall nice hotel.

The hotel was pretty much as expected in term of location, view of the beach, room comfort, breakfast... My only disappointment was the indoor pool/spa, which was the main reason I booked this hotel. The pool water was very cold and the spa had a horrible cloudy water. Some other guests tried it when the whirlpool was on and they couldn't notice the color of the water. Hope they don't get sick...

Room was not completely ready when we arrived.Found used tissues on bed ando wet wash towel still in bathtub. One call to front desk and entire problem was taken care of. Staff was extremely courteous and answered all of our questìons. Breakfast was not a 5 star experience but the food was good and fresh.

Towels were rough. AC unit was not great. Front desk should provide wifi and breakfast times to all customers at check in, many other hotels do.

Stayed at this place a couple of weeks back and I'm concerned I picked up a disease. Dirty room. Rude associates. The breakfast was actually okay, but for nearly $400, I should sue them for the room I received. This place was disgusting beyond words.

Walking distance to restraunts the beach and pleasure pier

This hotel is about a block away from the beach. It is well kept and the breakfast was a plus. We stayed on the top (5th) floor with a balcony facing the Gulf. There are numerous bars and restaurants near by. It was a good stay and we would do it again.

We wanted a decent hotel that was within walking distance to Pleasure Pier. This hotel was more than we were expecting. I have never been to a hotel that did not have a hotel smell. When we walked into the room it smelled very nice and the room and bathroom were very clean. We even had a balcony with a view of Pleasure Pier and the beach. This was definitely a great hotel experience.

Nice place to stay. Great hot tub and pool. I Enjoyed the location and view from the room

Room was clean and housekeeping did a great job. Breakfast was acceptable but not fabulous. Front desk staff as polite and helpful. Parking is limited but possible. Beach is across the street. Not a bad choice for a stay.

great staff very helpful hot breakfast in morning indoor pool. Rooms could use a bigger tv. I would go back

Hotel was nice. Rooms were clean and there were no issues with anything in the room. We were assigned a handicapped NS room, although we did not need handicapped. Only suggestion would be that if someone with unsteady footing were to use the shower, they might slip and fall, as there was no slip resistant texturing on the tub. I found it very slippery and did not use it to bathe my 1 yr old, as I did not want him to slip and fall. There were cigarette butts in the cracks of the cement on the patio but no residual scent. Overall, I would go back and would suggest the hotel to others. The continental breakfast was good, and they had different offerings daily.

It is our second time to book this hotel. Room is clean, and the swimming pool is an extra surprise for my son. However, when I booked the queen suits, which includes 2 queen beds and separate sofabed, I was planning us the room for the 4 adults and my 6 year old son to stay in, and I did not notice the people number when I typed on the website. To my surprise, when I tried to check in, the lady said I need to pay additional 30 dollars for the additional 3 people, including my little boy( he is supposed to be free with an adult). I do not want to ruin my holiday, so I paid the 30 dollars. Except this issue, everything is great!!!

Came to Galveston for a conference. Decided to stay here as it was close(within walking distance) to several places I wanted to go. The hotel was nice. Not much of a view from my room(roof of hotel drive blocked it). One thing negative about room was that the shower drained slow. Other than that, the experience was good.

We love Galveston and this Hotel was right where we could walk to everything we wanted to! Great location and clean and nice!

Other than the internet was awful the whole week, it was a nice place. Great location.

Clean, modern and located a short walk from a lot of great places. I will be returning.

Breakfast was pretty terrible. Hot milk, raw oatmeal, watered down waffle batter. Thank goodness the 3rd morning someone knew what they were doing. Beautiful balcony views, close to pleasure pier, and an easy walk to the beach. Not a bad hotel for the price. The indoor pool was VERY cold!

Only complaint is there was no parking. We had to park in the front on the drop off driveway. I was nervous the car wod get towed, but didn't.
