This hotel is in need of repairs I was giving two rooms with televisions that were intermittent or didn't work maintenance came out to check on them but they still didn't work If they lower the price on this hotel to $40 a night it would be worth it there are sections of the hotel that have halfway painted halls rooms that are not completely painted repairs need to be done

Staff approached my sister after finding out she called the front desk to complain room was not professionally clean, extra towels needed to be picked up versus being brought to us, and found some adult toys in the trash can by the pool, breakfast is just cereal and orange juice. Location is somewhat convenient between Kemah boardwalk and the pleasure pier. My family and I found this place laughable!

ok place to stay if you are a worker like I am not good bad definitely ugly did not fear for my life but don't stay here if your looking for fluff bare basic everything

Breakfast supposedly coffee, donuts, and bagels. All non-existent by 8:00 a.m. Staff very not friendly. Almost had to beg for towels. A/C was cold, pool was clean, location was easy to access. Won't stay again.

My girlfriend, her 6 year old and I stayed here as this was the cheapest and closest for our Galveston weekend vacation. For the 135 dollars I payed for one night, I feel the quality should have been much better. Honestly, the only good thing that this motel had going for it was a polite staff. Now, to name a few problems I had with my room. 1. The carpet was FILTHY. I'm talking my socks were black on the bottom from walking on it. It seems it has not been vacuumed in weeks. 2. The mattresses were extremely uncomfortable. We barely were able to sleep. 3. The pillows provided were also horrible. I've had hospital pillows that were more comfortable. 4. The sheets were stained. They were obviously washed, but they had stains all over them. 5. The bathroom towels were horrible. They felt like sandpaper. The 6 year old whimpered when his mother was drying him off. I thought he was exaggerating until I used one to dry my face off. They also did not supply enough towels, so I had to go to the front desk to get more, and they made me SIGN for more. Like anyone would steal these? All in all, I feel I was cheated for this price. If you are going to take advantage of people needing a hotel close to Galveston, at least use that money and reinvest into cleaning your rooms better. I will NEVER stay here again.

This hotel is well located just a short distance north of Galveston, our destination for a weekend retreat. The rooms were accommodating, pleasant and comfortable. A fairly average location with a decent price for the night. Recommended

was pretty happy with the hotel condition and the price i paid.

About the same, waffles were great.

If you don't want to pay a premium rate for an overnight in Galveston before a cruise and aren't too picky the price is right. Staff was okay, but we had to ask for extra pillows and towels. If you reserve a room for 3 you would think it would have supplies for 3. The pool was green--yuck. It is really convenient to get to the port; maybe 20 minutes.

The staff was very friendly - the room was clean - the continental breakfast was a nice variety. I didn't use the pool, but it looked clean and clear. There was easy access/egress from the property to I45. I will probably stay there again.

WE WENT TO VISIT THE BEACH IN GALVESTON

the rooms were not cleaned the next day and the breakfast area wasn't looked after very well. Very small and noisy all night. not interested in staying at same place again.

Clean but used facilities, room was clean and serviced every day, no mildew smell, ice cold air conditioning, on the Gulf freeway, easy access to Galveston, low price, quiet, close to Walmart, I will use this motel again.

great

I read bad reviews on this hotel but with big plans for our vacation, I was trying to save money so I decided to take a chance and I'm GLAD we did! This was a great hotel with a great location! We were going on to Galveston the next morning for a 7 day cruise and we met many people that we were on the ship with that were also staying there. The staff we met were very polite and helpful! Being unfamilar with the area I was happy to see that ALL the rooms had interior access unlike the Super " " motel next door which I was also considering and after seeing it...yikes, Travelodge by far blew it away! It also had a little club inside that would be fun(if we weren't so tired after driving) it had great music, but with the hotel being as large as it was and how it was set up you couldn't hear the music in the rooms! It was a great set up! The pool was great...didn't get to use it due to time, but it's large and clear/clean! We ended up getting a room that was handicapped equipped and although we didn't need those accomodations the room was wonderful! It definitely surpassed what I thought we would be getting for the low price we were given. I'm a germabphobe...I carry Lysol everywhere I go and the room overall felt clean after I sprayed everywhere. For the "normal" person, that's not as germ freaky as I am...it would have been perfect minus Lysol! Let's just say I sprayed our Cabin on the ship MORE than I did this hotel room. Breakfast was more than I expected...very please! Lots of cereal, pastries/bagels, waffles, some fruit, juices and coffee! I think you will be very please with your stay here. I've stayed at all types of hotels from ritzy to average and like I said you will like this hotel especially for the price. As long as you aren't expecting too much like mints on your pillow or turn down service all will be enjoyed and trust me...I am as picky as they come...but I am honest with expectations and I don't try to pretend that I am high and mighty...I as normal as anyone else so I don't leave bad feedback for stuff that I don't even have at home!

Over all we had a pleasant stay, we went during spring break and tried to get in the pool and the water was to cold. I've would have enjoyed going into their sana, but to many people cramed in there, like packed tuna. This was because of the weather it was cool and windy. Nice bar by the way, had a few cold ones and came across another couple whom also where enjoying their stay. We'll be sure to come back soon.

The staff was courtsey. The TV in the room had no color. The shower bar was broken and made showering difficult. The grate covering the exhaust was poorly attached. There was rust on the heat lamp fixture in the bath and the heat lamp bulb was incorrect. It provided no heat in the bath. It was a run-down hotel in serious need of some updates and up-keep.

This hotel was close to all we had planned for the weekend, both Kemah Boardwalk and Schlitterbaun. Even though there is a 3pm check-in time they allowed us to check in early because it started raining. The only thing missing were irons and ironing boards in the room, but you could check them out at the front desk.

Hot tub was dirty. Had to much clorine. The room had a bad odor. Everthing else was good. Friendly staff. Good location and good price.

This was a nice place to stay if visitig Galveston. It was pretty noisy but we were up late so it didn't bother us that much.
