The view was beautiful. Had some difficulty getting into my building: key card says insert. There is a slot to insert key but you are supposed to tap it on top. So we took the stairs up then the elevator down. Walls were very thin. Definitely need a time for the noise to be lowered. My son and I have stayed here before and will continue to do so in the near future.

We were there for a Gator game. There was a terrible sour milk smell in hallways and the first room we were in. Manager switched us immediately to another room in a different building- hallway smelled just as bad........ must have been leaks that have the carpets saturated for years, sour mildew smell. The second room was nice as long as you didn't open the door. Grounds were not well maintained, nor was the pool area. Needs a major overhaul- very disappointing Wyndham. Staff was friendly, and the breakfast was good. We paid entirely too much $$$ for this place......

They have changed their continental breakfast and it's not for the better. Also did not clean our room x 2. They will say it's because you had the "do not disturb " sign out, but not true

several items in need of repair, you can hear a whole lot of outside noise & conversations within your room

Staff doesn't seem as kind as in the past Little annoying bar isn't open during the day

Many other teenager/young adult guests were very loud and disruptive the night we were there. Told desk about it when we checked out. Clerk said they were aware and management would act if happened the next night, but our stay was still disrupted. Breakfast that morning was OK, but a lot of items were not available.

Comfortable room, nothing special. The poolside view was amazing. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They were the make or break it for me and definitely made it! I will stay again when we return to Gainesville!!

Stayed on night while taking my son to see surgeon at shands.

We had to walk for what seemed like forever through rundown hallways and outside to another bldg and up nasty shaky elevators to our room. The room was fairly comfortable despite the cold carpetless floors. I feel we should have been informed of the renovation before making reservations.

Elevator not working--3rd floor with luggage ugh. Restaurant closed for Friday night dinner :( Saturday morning breakfast had staffing issue of some kind--everyone scrambling. Water temperature in shower not hot enough. Room clean :) Such a change from my first stay. Afraid to go back. Want some money back!!

Stayed there multiple times . Good food and drink .

Dirty furniture and carpets. Old bath. Air/heat uncontrolable. Turned heat on and smoke detector went off. WAY OVERPRICED. Paid $200 for a $60 room.

It's safe and convenient, I will stay at this hotel again.

The elevator was gross. Carpet on walls, stained carpet on the floor and blood on the front panel. I felt unsafe in the elevator. The room was okay but hard to get over the elevator.

It was not clean and did not have a good appearance. The TV remote was just a cheap piece of junk that did not work right either. We were given food vouchers for breakfast but when we got to the adjoining restaurant to use them we were informed that if we want any hot dishes we will have to pay for them. the vouchers were only good for things like cold cereal, toast, and drinks. Oh, and the tables were sticky! I would NOT recommend this place to anyone.

Friendly atmosphere. Staff were very helpful. Bathroom and bed were clean, furniture in room was a little tired.

The hotel has recently been purchased by Wyndham, it is an old hotel that Wyndham put their name on. The rooms were smelly, old, and dirty. I would not recommend anyone stay here until there are improvements made. The bathrooms in the hotel rooms were not clean either, skins and showers would not drain properly. If you expect to stay at a Wyndham hotel...DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

Unless it's game weekend and there are no other options this place is pretty rough - especially for a Wyndham.

Let's start from the outside. I was in building 1000, the carpet by the front door was soaking wet. The security door to get in the building was disabled so anyone could just pull open the door. Now the room, old and run down!!! Ware marks on the wall for the lights, furniture from the original hotel, mattress was thin and lumpy, the sliding glass door to the patio didn't slide and would not shut(I propped pillows in front of the corner of the door that was open to the elements. Now the bathroom. The bottom of the door had water damage and stains, the shower was chipped and there was paint falling from the ceiling in multable areas. The air conditioning was super loud and had an off smell, but it worked. I don't think we had cable, all the channels where fuzzy, then they nickel and dime you at breakfast, if you want the "warm" part of the continental breakfast you have to pay.Do not stay in this hotel!!!

Fire alarm went off at 0300 and there was no fire. Rooms were not comp'd due to that. Ruined sleep and stay. Will never go back.

Thank you for your review of our hotel. We appreciate the time you took to leave your comments, and we are disappointed to hear that your stay was not up to our high standards. Noisy neighbors can make for a dreadful night of rest, or lack thereof and for that we apologize. We hope you will give us another opportunity to give us the wonderful stay you deserved. We look forward to seeing you very soon.
