I stayed here on a cross country trip, just needing a place for the night. The hotel manager was very nice and check in was smooth. I don't understand why they needed a copy of my drivers license, but they made one. The room was spacious and the bed large and comfortable enough. I was put a little put off by the seemingly random and mismatched table and chairs provided. Not a big deal, but just seemed cheap (though it's a budget hotel anyway). There was soiling on most light switches and stains on a few things that were off putting. Whoever was upstairs from my room walked around a lot until the wee hours - I noticed that because their floor was really squeaky and I could hear exactly where they were in their room. Loud enough to wake me several times during the night. Not trying to complain that much...you get what you pay for, I guess. But maybe the staff could clean a bit better.

Front desk clerk Greta was very nice and helpful. She really made me feel welcome.Rooms was nice and clean, but carpet could be replace or cleaned. Tub clean. I enjoyed my stay and will return when i come back to visit

The room was clean and it was close to the gadsden campus. There is the last of the good news. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows flat and useless. The heating unit (my stay was on a cold winter weekend) sounded like a dying dinosaur and was not even consistent in it's rattle and roar. The heating unit appeared to be defective as it would make the room a furnace and you would have to turn it off. Of course, the room rapidly cooled down and you had to turn it back on. Using the low heat button and adjusting the thermostat knob changed nothing. The blankets were not adequate and did not seem to have been changed for a winter weight. I appreciated the clean room and that was all.

Nothing fancy, a little dirty, just a place to crash overnight!!

This is my third year in a row staying here. And it seems to be Getting better each year. Will be staying here again

This was as overnight personal business trip and the room was quite workable. Not a new facility, but everything seemed to work. Lots of nice food establishments within a mile or less. Very pleasant geographic area on the Coosa River.

Very rundown. Carpet was filthy and worn out. Tiles lifting on uneven floors. The two bath towels were so thin that they wouldn't be worthy of washing a car with. Vending machines were empty. Refrigerator was filthy and sounded like a time bomb. We had to unplug it. I don't think microwave was operable. I would be embarassed to recommend this to anyone. Total rip off. Stay away race fans.

The manager was friendly and greeted me with a smile and seemed eager to please. Because I had booked the room the day before, I was allowed to register in front of another guest. ( Made me feel VIP'ish). The room was spacious and the bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept on in a motel/hotel of this genre. Though my wife and I were only there one night, the room was equipped for a much longer stay. My one complaint is with the floor. The carpet in room 131 needs replacing. If peace and quiet is what you desire, request the back side. There is no traffic noise. The room was very quiet. I will recommend this place to anyone that asks.

The hotel was just as I expected - comfortable but not fancy. We arrived late and left early, so we did not need oppulence.

It was very clean and neat. Good service. Good breakfast. Close to resturants and shopping. Will stay there again.

We had an unexpected death in the family and had to travel to the site quickly. We needed a nice place to stay that would not charge us an arm and a leg, and this place was perfect. We were able to rest comfortably, which was a necessity after a 15 hour drive.

Very good experience. Building has some differed maintenance, but I would stay there again! Good value.
