I chose for this hotel for family trip with my two childeren, and I made two rooms reservation for 'STANDARD TWINS.' There was no exression 'SMOKING ROOM' , so I thought it is non-smoking room. EVEN THOUGH I put 'two children', but they never noticed us it would be smoking room. Finally we could'nt stay and sleep at that hotel because hotel wasn't same as that photos on the website. Room was so much dirty, and was full of the smell of tabacco. We stayed at the lobby for 2~3 hours, and we realized that there were so many people like us that could not go into their rooms because of the smell of tabacco. HOTEL CENTRAZA HAKATA must write if it is non-smoking or smoking at least, or give customers inform if they trip with their children. IT WAS MY WORST OF WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE EVER WITH THIS HOTEL.
The rooms are out dated, dirty, wall paper coming off and dirty, the windows you can't open, you cover in smelling smoke, dirty chairs! The only thing that's good is the shower with warm water. The bathrooms are small...not good if you are a tall person!
This was probably the smallest of the rooms that we stayed in whilst touring Japan, however my philosophy is that if you're only there to sleep - that doesn't really matter! So this hotel suited our purposes well. Good location.
Rustic & an oldie. Not the greatest but if you need a night or two and only use the room for shower & sleep, then this is perfect. Superb location next to station & plenty of drinks n food places. Service is great as always in Japan.
Family spent 3 nights here. When you exit the doors of Hakata Station, the hotel is right there on the left. Excellent Buffet Breakfast, even a Chef to make you a fresh omelette. Room was comfortable, clean and reasonably updated. Check in and out was simple, with friendly and helpful staff.
The location is the best attribute of the hotel being right at the main train station. We, however, were given a room needing a very deep clean or renovation, so the overall experience was not good. Our room also overlooked the pool that had clearly been abandoned as it was not in use even though it was mid-summer.
I only stayed there for 1 night and the parking was not free, you will get a special price from the hotel which is a lot cheaper for 1 night parking. The Hotel is right next to underground and Hakata Station so it is the best spot to go travel around that area. The room is clean and quite.
We spent six nights at semi double room. Our room was small but it has enough place for two people. Room was bit outdated and washroom makes you think a cruise ship. But room was clean everyday which is top priority for us. Air condition worked very well. Wifi cutting in and out occasionally. Breakfast was nice but mostly same everyday. It has European and Asian dishes and opportunity to have fresh omelette too. This hotel is all about the location. Five minutes and you sit on a bullet train. Lots of shops and restaurants very close. Own entrance to subway and Lawson. International Airport bus marked A from bus stop 2 leaves you 100 meters from hotel. Fukuoka is great city and we enjoyed our stay. Great hub for other cities too, like Hiroshima.
The location is fantastic. It's right next to Hakata and transport to the airport was easy. The hotel, itself, was nice but smoky....even in a non-smoking room. The staff was kind and resolved any issues we had (requested a non-smoking room and they didn't have any the same size). I'd probably stay there again.
The hitel has a great location that has a direct link to the subway from the airport at Hakata Station. The room I had was small and had basic amenities like a fridge and toiletries. However, this hotel is dated and does not have well located sockets for charging all the gadgets that you may have. It is very convenient though being so near Hakata Station and very reasonably priced. There are many nice breakfast places around the station, a Starbucks and Family mart right on the first floor of the hotel.
