Ibis Fujairah3.0 out of 5.0

We stayed in the Ibis for 6 nights in July 2017. As expected with the brand the Ibis is indeed a budget hotel and offered exactly the Ibis standard you can expect in the UK (self parking, self porting of luggage etc). The room was clean but quite small for two adults with medium/large sized bags staying for 6 nights - give the reception desk their due as they did mention the room size to us in sq ft on check in but we were weary from travelling and it was late evening so we didn't really put that in context. The room did however have a good size mini fridge which was useful for storing water, drinks etc. The only issue we had with the room was that on one day house keeping missed us (we had been out all day) and our room ran out of shower gel on day 4 and wasn't replenished. The hotel shares a gym and pool with Novotel and Adagio. The pool was of reasonable size but could benefit from more loungers especially with the closure of the Hilton earlier this year there are fewer places to go for a swim in central Fujairah. The gym had a good amount of exercise machines and offered table tennis, table football and a pool table just outside the gym. We enjoyed drinks in the Sports Bar and found the staff friendly one minor issue with the Sports Bar was that the hours listed in the room information weren't quite accurate. We didn't book breakfast and preferred to take the short hot walk to the Lulu Centre round the corner to pick up pastries or go to Starbucks.
As an expat, hotel life IS important - the Ibis and its staff made me feel safe, secure, and cared for - service is the best I have ever received - Staff are constantly attentive, genuinely friendly and concerned about your stay - rooms were always kept clean and stocked - when I did have a problem it was fixed in 15 minutes! The long-stay package is the best
Nice place to stay in safe clean hotel staf are helpful compared with other hotels i like how the rooms items are arranged with the small space area in the room for sur i will go for ibis as it was my favorite hotel in europe. Thanks
I spent only few hours in ibis Fujairah as it was my first time in Fujairah,I arrived in the hotel early morning around 04:00am on 20th may, at the reception Fernandes the guy from India was very helpful and he checked me in and I had to leave early so I requested for a wake up call and I was happy as they waked me up at the right time. I don't remember the exact name of the lady at the reception but I think her name was Kristel, she was very helpful and she helped me with checkout, I forgot to take my bill so I called later in the hotel for a copy of my bill, Kristel she send me the copy through email and made me a call also to confirm, room are not that much big but it's comfortable for one person alone, such a friendly staff I have ever seen, in the bar there was a one Sri Lankan guy he was so helpful and the bar manager was so decent in talking. I really liked this place and I hope to see those peoples again.I m a traveler and I traveled many places and I have been living in many different hotels so I understand the quality of service.Kristel you are a diamond in the hotel.and Fernandes you are the shining star. Thank you for making my stay smooth and comfortable.
I have been a long stay guest at Ibis Hotel in Fujairah, UAE since November 2016. From the very first day, I was made to feel extremely welcome by all members of staff at the hotel and I wished to comment on the fantastic staff's impeccable manners and extreme politeness towards me. The professional staff in the Ibis reception, namely Ms. Priyanka, Ms. Kristal and Ms. Karim, welcomed me warmly upon entering and leaving the hotel, morning or evening. Over the weekends, the hospitality staff at the buffet breakfast (where I am a regular) have become the closest thing to family for me. I wish to include Ms. Barsha, Ms. Preiti, Ms. Rozanelle, Mr. Ramesh and Mr. Omkar and Chef Paul in this recommendation. In addition to this, my hotel room has always been cleaned and kept in order by Ms. Nancy, another valuable member of the housekeeping staff. I also wish to thank Mr. Bhim for his personal touches at breakfast, and to Ms. Hina for being equally considerate towards me as a long stay guest. I wanted to recommend this hotel because of its fantastic employees and if anybody is in the city, please be sure to inquire about this hotel. I also hope this particular Ibis branch will be recognised for its never-ending effort and professionalism.
Located right as soon as you enter Fujairah when you drive down there. Excellent Food, both in taste and variety.Adequate room size that's quite, clean, and properly maintained. Guest friendly staff, courteous and available always.
Nice place for short stay Tiny rooms but they have all the basic needs for a short stay visitor The gym shared with Novotel is excellent. The Breakfast facilities shared with Novotel Hotel is excellent, the staff are first class special mention Hina, Rozelline and Amenda
The rooms are excellent people around us are courteous. And every time during breakfast this lady attendants are respectful. Specially this two ladies ronzellyn and armeda who rendered good and polite service to us (the aircraft crews) without hesitation or looking for our color in the sense that we came from different african countries.
Booked here last minute as we decided to stay overnight in Fujairah after our trip from Dubai - it was a holidat weekend and the major hotels were ridiculously priced. I must say that the hotel is very clean and the rooms seem fine. Its well located close to Lulu mall and is pretty much in the centre of Fujairah city. Across the road are a selection of bars in the other hotels. We went for the breakfast option for AED30 each.... emmm not sure I would reccommend the brekky... Its ok.. and I suppose you get what you pay for, but no offering of fried eggs and a fairly small selection. Good seating area though. All in all, it was worth the money.
Clean, nice customer service. Pool, Gym, breakfast which usually not available in all IBIS. Good choice. Rooms are available for smokers and non smokers. Definitely worth to try especially if you are coming for a visit to Fujairah.
