This hotel is really a 3 star hotel and yes its a but of a walk or free mini bus ride to the beach but boy what a great place to visit. The staff here are fabulous. I would say it is definitely the place to visit of you have small children. We watched the animation team work really hard with all the little ones all day and the little ones laughed, giggled and had a fabulous time. The good is basic but good, the rooms are all suites and HUGE. The scenery is stunning. I really can't say enough about this little gem up on the hill. We've had a fabulous time and for the price it was exceptional. Don't come to this hotel if you want to 'dress' for dinner, expect ala carte food and spa treatments, this hotel is about family, friends and relaxation, with sunshine and smiles. Other reviews have mentioned cockroaches and flues. We didn't see any. Yes the decor is a bit tired in places but who cares, it's clean with everything you could want and amazing staff. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

I have just come back from a weeks holiday at the Hotel Jandia Golf in Feurteventura. We were a party of 7, ranging in ages from 14 years to 60 years and all members thoroughly enjoyed their holiday. We were apprehensive before we went as we read some reviews that were scathing to the hotel, and I want to let you know that if you are going to this Hotel, you will have a great time. The food was the thing that most people complained about, and I feel that this is completely unwarranted, the food was great, a huge variety for breakfast , lunch and dinner, I saw no repetition of food, apart from the obvious at breakfast, which is the same everywhere, the full hot grill plus any amount of fresh fruit, pastries and bread. Lunch was always excellent, massive variety, and again the same in the evening, everything ranging from tuna steaks, braised duck in orange, steak, etc. Really good and as I mentioned earlier our party ranged in ages so it was more difficult to please all, and the did. The Hotel is understaffed I would agree, which causes the problems with the flies, etc but they were so pleasant, and hard working and genuinely appreciated the business. Overall a great holiday, so go and enjoy!

My family and I,two adults and two kids, just came back from 5 days all inclusive at Jandia Golf Hotel in Fuerteventura. The hotel structure is not bad, in my point of view it needs a continuos maintenance but there is not many members of staff, it seems like there are four or five people for all whole hotel wich is huge. We arrived Saturday around 12 o clock and we just reach the room around 3 pm, while we were waiting for the room, we had our first experience at the restaurant. The hall was full of flies that were around the tables and over the food's trays, the tables cover were very sticky. The breakfast was also very reach but still you had to eat in the middle of a lots of flies around you and we even found one dead in the scramble eggs. In 5 days of all inclusive we just had 3 dinners and all breakfast at the hotel, we went out for all Lunches and two dinners. The staff was very gentle and nice and I am so sorry for them that they have to run from one point the the other to do a lot of work. I believe the problem of this hotel is that they don't have enough staff, they should have for times more, then they can clean better and do a better service.

Returned to this hotel for a second time this year. The only negative is the transfer time from the airport. However it is well worth the hour to get there. The rooms are very large and clean. All the staff are exceedingly helpful. Nothing is too much trouble.There is a free bus every hour to the beach. There are plenty of sun loungers around the pools.We loved every minute of our holiday. This was our second visit to hotel Jandia golf and we enjoyed it even more than last year! The food was more to our taste this year and the staff were just as accommodating and helpful as they were before. The rooms are large and clean and there is plenty of room around the pools to not have to worry about getting a sunbed. There is a regular mini bus down to the beach, but it can be walked in 20 mins (downhill). I have seen a lot of bad reviews about this hotel and cannot understand why, some people complain for the sake of it! My family and I will look forward to staying here again soon.

I travel a lot and stay in very luxurious and also very basic hotels. I don't get disappointed easily but expect a hotel to deliver on its promises. This hotel was very likely the worst accomodation mistake I've ever made. They claim to be a 4* hotel, it shouldn't even be ranked as 2*. What were the big issues? Let's start with the fact that the place is crawling with cockroaches. We had them in our room every day and upon mentioning the issue, the response was "this is Fuerteventura, they are part of the island". Interestingly enough they weren't part of other hotels on the island I stayed at. Then there's the food. To say it's bad would be an insult to bad food. There were days when skipping a meal (we were on an 'all inclusive' plan) was better than having to eat the food and we went outside for dinner every night after trying and getting sick on the first night. Let's talk about how you have to pay a deposit for everything. Wanna watch tv? €10 deposit. Use the clothing iron (one for the entire hotel)? €20 deposit. Bring cash as they don't have a pin machine or ATM. Every room has a fridge and a kitchen which is great. Unfortunately there's nothing in it, not even a glass to drink from. Bring plastic cups. The disability accessible room is insanely dangerous but hey, they do have one. Anything good? Yes, restaurant staff is extremely friendly!! All together I'd rather not go on holiday than ever go here again.

Were booked in for 4 nights but only stayed 1, that's how bad it was and I've never done that before! Awful food, terrible entertainment. The bar stunk of body odour. Cats would use the sandpit as a litter tray. Wires and cables exposed in the restaurant. Please avoid if you want to have a relaxing 4 STAR break.

Visited for the second time this April and stayed for 2 weeks. Loved it even more, the food has improved massively and there is definitely something for everyone. The rooms are huge with an AC and a fan and are cleaned regularly. The pool was very cold however I wouldn't have wanted this any different as it was very hot whilst we were there. The staff were still friendly and worked very hard despite being short staffed which you could see was stressful at the time. The animation team were lovely and also work extremely hard, there is definitely activities for everyone from rifle shooting, to Zumba, to beer pong to darts, water polo and many more. Every day there is also 'happy hour' where the animation team make cocktails and give them out to the guests. Gii gii and Amir worked extremely hard and deserve a lot of praise for their hard work. This was one of the best holidays I've been on and personally I couldn't fault it.

Hotel is very hard to find, not well sign posted. Very basic accomodation. No outside furniture no clothes arier to dry towels/swimwear on. No tea/coffee facilities in the room. Sofa bed not fit for purpose, my daughter had to sleep in my bed for the whole week. I can not see how it has a 4 star rating. Food was basic. The entertainment was the same every night. The resort felt it was understaffed and needs a lot of work.

Had a 10 day stay here at the beginning of April, 2 adults & 2 children. The hotel is very clean and the staff are great. The pools and pool area is clean and equipped with plenty of sunbeds. Snack bar is understaffed but the staff are competent. The animation is a bit limited but was adequate. The rooms are huge and well appointed, the cleaners are great and do a fab job. Lacking in balcony furniture but we just moved the chairs and table from in the lounge area outside. There is a bus that runs all day to take you to the town, its full a lot of the time but its only about €5 in a taxi which the reception will organise for you. All in all we couldnt fault the hotel, found the food great with plenty of choice, its not a la carte but it doesnt claim to be. Would definitely return to the hotel.
