Hotel was clean, tidy, spacious , staff were friendly and accommodating. Good choice of food served with a smile. Hotel is close to a beach but also close to the Main Street, however when in the hotel it's very quiet and relaxing.
We went here for 1 weeks holiday. The hotel was very a bit dated but very clean and the food was OK. The pool area was clean and there were plenty of sunbeds, even if you go in the afternoon. I would recommend this hotel as it in the centre of the town but very quite.
Hotel Dunapark, is probably the best located hotel in Corralejo. It sits on a quiet side road, directly in the town centre. The hotel is a maximum 2 minute walk to the beach, and at night's you cannot hear the hustle and bustle of the town. We did pay for a garden view room, and there is a set of rooms in the hotel, where your window would back onto the main strip. The hotel itself, is clean to an impeccable standard. The service from both reception & restaurant staff was hit & miss. There were 2 receptionists that were very helpful, Manu & another lady with short blonde hair, who was extremely informative in regards to the excursions. However, the other 2 receptionists we encountered, both ladies with dark hair, never said hello, or even asked how our stay was when we left. Not exactly rude, but a little dismissive for a 4* hotel. The restaurant staff were always friendly and polite, however, the pool bar was manned rather inconsistently. Most of the time, you had to hunt around the hotel to find someone if we wanted a drink or a snack. In the future I'd expect the pool bar to be attended to for the full duration it is open. Hotel entertainment is sparse, and the crowd is that of an older persuasion. There's nothing wrong with that, but this hotel is definitely catered more towards 55+ people. Being 26 & 39, we found that it didn't strike the right balance, and there was little life there, i.e no music in the hotel or by the pool. Rooms are nice, big, if a little basic. No thrills but clean, spacious and lovely balconies looking into the pool area. Would I stay at this hotel again? I'm not sure. However, these minor inconveniences did not impact an otherwise enjoyable holiday. P.S thanks for the wine!
Bought a cheap last minute trip. So ended up in the cheap room! The hotel is very good but do not stay in the street fronting rooms if you want a quest night! The best rooms front the pool and are quiet and peaceful. Being an adults only hotel is just what we wanted. Quite until a large group arrived shouting and calling each other from all parts of the hotel! These poeple need to find a compatability hotel! The food was wonderful and staff very friendly. The beaches are 150 metres away and are simply wonderful don't be put off by the horrible sports bars opposite the entrance to the hotel there are many very good restaurants and bars. We loved the beach bar on the mini hill for early evening drink. Usually had a band or dj but very much in the vibe of an early evening. A must try is Gilders an authentic Spanish tapas bar great staff and we loved it for a drink while 'promenading' after a pleasant dinner in the hotel. Do not miss this place full of locals a good sign for a visitor. I'm not a fan of large places with shopping centres but you can get away from it as I did walking to the sand dune area which is beautiful. If full of old men going 'natural' not a good sight! Looking at some hotels we got lucky in the location of our hotel. Beware you could be isolated way out of town so review where the hotel is in Corralejo. Suprising we would go back again. Well worth the 4 plus hour flight if the weather is 26 degree C in early April. When Palma mallorca was 9 degree and raining. All in all great holiday. Don't go as it will up the fees if you read this!
Instead of having a party I decided I would like to go away with my family for my birthday. We picked this hotel as I was small.I really can't fault the staff each and every one of the were friendly polite and nothing was a problem. As a group of 15 they even but us all together for our meals. The food was good something for everyone, but we decided not to eat there every night and had a few nights out one for my sister in law's birthday too. My room personally I think was the best room 241 upstairs the end room facing the pool area.we got the sun from lunchtime until the end of the day. I couldn't fault the room and the cleaning staff were also very lovely and very good. When I go back to Corralejo I will book this hotel again and be checky and ask for room 241. Keep up the good work and thank you all x
Visited end of April for one week half board stay.I echo what many other reviewers say, now showing its age and looking dated, definitely not four star, three at best. What was four star was the lovely staff at reception and in the dining room, who did their utmost to make our stay enjoyable. the downsides? wifi very poor best signal was to be found outside, no ice machine, so we bought our own and the staff put it in their freezer. We were told they have to buy the ice in so did not give it away freely. The positives, excellent location, 150 yards from the beach and fifty yards from the main thorough fare and associated shops and cafes. Food plentiful and well presented, good choice at breakfast and evening dinner, buffet service. Perhaps the most infuriating thing of all, hot drinks from the machine were available at breakfast, but not in the evening at dinner, so no post prandial coffee unless purchased. Not good, spoiled some nice relaxed dinners.
We were here for our honeymoon & our 1st visit to Fuerteventura. We will certainly be back. Yes the hotel may be a little dated, but not shabby, and we were very comfortable, and the cleaning staff do a good job. The overall atmosphere of the place is so friendly that it really was a home from home. We enjoyed both the breakfast and the evening buffets (which changed each night on a weekly basis) . The restaurant manager Consuelo is lovely, as are the staff and you can see they truly make the effort to make you feel at home. Begora deserves a mention too because she absolutely works her socks off! The pool was gorgeous and there were always sunbeds free. The only slight snag being that the large palm trees block certain areas from having as much sun. The poolside bar had fair prices though only open during the day, which was fine but a suggestion may be to offer a little more entertainment as we would have stayed in more on a evening if this were so. The hotel is located on the main strip so I advise selecting a garden/pool view room! We had a pool view which was lovely. It is in a good place to walk to everything. Fantastic stay. I would go back 100%. The small touches such as a bottle of rose on arrival and (champagne!) At breakfast each day all added to the lovely experience.
Lovely hotel with friendly staff. Great location, 2 minutes walk to the beach and just a few yards from the main strip of shops and supermarkets. Ten minutes walk to the harbour. Room very spacious overlooking the pool, good size balcony. Adults only which is a bonus and I recommend paying the extra to have a pool view as very quiet on that side of the hotel, rooms overlooking the street could be very noisy. Food very good, good choice at breakfast and evening meal, always a roast, fish or chicken as well as pasta, soup, lots of salad, cheese, crackers, good sweets
Stayed here on a short break 28th April to 2nd May 2017, nice hotel in a good position but definitely not a four star hotel. Stayed b & b but ended up going out for breakfast as food not good. Saying that it wouldn't stop me going back.
Stayed at Atlantis Dunapark from 15/4/2017 till 25/4/2017. Arrived late at night so missed dinner but some snacks were in our room to keep us going. Room was spacious but looked old and had air conditioning and a large balcony. Dinning room was bright and staff throughout the hotel were very nice. Food was hit and miss and limited menu, after a week it was all repeated. Bar and lounge was dead. Pool bar was ok but after dinner hotel is dead. Pool was great but not many people used it. There is a beautiful beach just down street from Hotel. Wifi was bad signal one minute gone the next. As said earlier the staff were all very nice. This is a 4 star Hotel 20 years ago maybe.
