Nice hotel, always clean and very modern. Rooms were lovely. The pool area was nice and had chilled music on but it wasn’t the most picturesque. Hotel is right on the beach however the sand was very hard and sharp when we visited so we rarely went on the beach. There’s bars and restaurants all within walking distance which was good. We got a really good deal including flights so can’t complain. Wide selection of food for breakfast

We stayed here in October 2017, I travelled with my husband, we were both pleasantly surprised how lovely the hotel was with all the negative reviews on here. The rooms are huge and beds are comfy - Free safe! We found the food to be good and the location is excellent, everything in walking distance. We found all staff friendly and helpful. Pool bar was great and we fell in love with Eblin the bar tender. she couldn't do enough for us! Different cocktails made by pool each day, snacks all day and pool side lunches were freshly made behind the bar - Lovely :-) We will be back

We stayed at Geranios Suites in November 2017. It turned out to be a very good hotel with a great range of options on offer for breakfast (we only stayed on a B&B basis). We paid for a sea view room and the views over the bay were exceptional. The hotel has a bar outside reception that does a happy hour in the evening and served generous good quality drinks in a very pleasant environment.

Just leaving after a lovely week at the resort. The staff were really friendly, the rooms lovely (and serviced on a daily basis). Great location - right on the beach and about a 7 min walk into Calete de Fuste. We were on bed & breakfast so didn't fully experience the food offering but breakfast was lovely. Good choice and a hilarious chef making omelettes to order. We did experience dinner on NYE at the complimentary gala meal - it was all DELICIOUS. There are a few cafes / restaurants right outside the hotel. Our favourite was Amares (GO! It is SO good. Have the paella, the fish, the chicken. Everything!). In Calete de Fuste would recommend Volcano (pricey but on another level), and the restaurant on the corner beside Fado Rock. People will tell you to go there and it's good but it's not amazing. Don't believe the queues waiting to get in. Go to the place next door (can't remember the name!). You'll probably find yourself in Pierro's - the main bar / music pub. It's slightly tacky but good fun and a nice crowd..... Back to the hotel, we had a great time. I would definitely rate it. My only complaints were the gym was very basic and the pool was not heated. For January, it definitely should have been. If you're booking, ask them to heat the pool. Hopefully the more who request, the more likely they are to do it. Enjoy

Stayed here with 2 teenagers & it was ideal for us, all inclusive & always found a meal to enjoy, most lunch times we just ate at the snack bar. Staff are so friendly & nothing is a problem. Rooms are fab, very tidy & modern. Entertainment was a little poor but we made our own entrainment & still had a great time. A lovely hotel in a beautiful setting, just the relaxing break we needed before my chemotherapy started, we would definitley return 😁

We Booked this Particular Hotel through Cobra Holidays London. First of all, we were greeted by the receiptionist, she swiftly took our necessary details and gave us the keys. The villa booked was FANTASTIC! Everything was extremly spacious apart from one of the rooms in the villa which had a twin bed, however, it didn't bother us. Beds were also Comfortable. There was 1 toilet downstairs and 1 Bathroom upstairs. Preferably, there should have been two full bathrooms. The Hotel itself is extremely large. As a Vegetarian, the food was suffice, Breakfast was not any issues. Dinner was OK, there could have been more of a variety for vegetarians, however, the food was edible and tasted good. The only Negative point I have is the Food Labels, Not everything was labelled and if it was, it was incorrect, this needs to be rectified immediately. Apart from the above, we will definitely visit the Hotel again in the near future and stay in the Villa no doubt!

Junior Suites were really comfortable and included a bedroom, bath and shower room, kitchen and living room. Our room faced the pool and the pool bar. Good standard of decor and fittings in the room. Three of us shared and there was ample room for each of us.

This hotel is in the perfect location in Calete De Fuste. Short bus/taxi from the airport. This hotel could`t be any closer the beach as it is pretty much on it, with only a path dividing them. The rooms are a great design with the bedroom being separate from the kitchen/dining/living area. There is sofa bed which is very ideal and the privacy is great. The hotel itself is very big with lots of high ceilings and plenty of seats to people watch. The food is good, breakfast especially had a wide selection however, the puddings at lunch and dinner are disappointing with only small sponge cakes, limited fruit and ice cream. With being an all inclusive the drinks are of good quality but don`t offer any bottles of water not even in your room only cups and a water dispenser is offered which I do find unusual and disappointing for a 4 star hotel. The lighting in the restaurant is very bright and would be a lot better dimmed, making your eyes sore especially if you have been sun bathing all day. The chairs and tables are very noisy and rather canteen like, also like the chairs in the entertainment hall, set up like a school assembly and could really be doing with being more casual such as having tub chairs and tables. Overall, I do enjoy staying at this hotel and have been twice, if you enjoy lots of space and peace and quiet then this hotel is for you.

To save repeating - I agree very much with Sceptic Tone's review of the whole hotel. The staff were particularly friendly and efficient. Its an excellent hotel - if anything, it was a pity at least one of the pools wasn't heated. So few people using the pools this time of year it seemed a waste. As to the reviews I read about poor food offerings I really don't know what these people wanted. It would be easier if they said why it was so disgusting! Every evening there was a fish (white fish, calamari, sardines) and meat option freshly cooked option (inc entrecote steak, pork, chicken), pasta and pasta sauces, salad station, soup and bread station, cheese selection, main course pre-cooked selection and a large starter selection. For pudding there was fruit, a variety of desserts and three ice creams. Occasionally there was a special dessert being made fresh too - waffles, chocolate fountain or fruit fritters. The Gala Dinner was amazing - langoustines the size I have never eaten before, green lipped mussels, turkey, beef entrecote, special desserts, pates, terrines - so much choice. It was a meal to remember forever.

Myself and my wife had a Christmas break 8 nights at the Geranios Hotel And Spa. I'm a seasoned traveler and have never stayed at an hotel with as many problems as this hotel has. The infrastructure of the hotel seemed ok on arrival but only covered up the problems. I will start with the plus points. 1- Wi-Fi was good. 2- Room was a generous size and well laid out and cleaned daily.. Now the negatives. 1- Room was cold with no heating, reception advised we should use blankets when in room, not enjoyable watching tv wrapped in a blanket, twin beds pushed together to make a double, shower running hot and cold with low pressure. 2- Food was the worst Ive ever come across in all my travels, it was cold, undercooked Chicken was served and I was fobbed of with a free bottle of wine to silence my complaints about the Chicken, meat was so tough I could hardly cut it with a knife never mind chew it, fruit flies were abundant around the wine dispenser so we actually brought our own. Comments book was removed because of the negative comments written after every sitting. Pool buffet was not fit for human consumption and I was almost scalded when a lady next to me trying to serve herself pushed the buffet (faulty) tray into the boiling water below splashing water everywhere. The restaurant was understaffed with only around 2 to 3 waiters attending the tables. this is the worst all inclusive I have ever come across. 3- pools were freezing cold and the entertainment for both adults and children were abysmal. As with the main restaurant very understaffed. 4- cleanliness of the general areas was non existent. myself and friends we met sat just out side the main Bar and had drinks at a table just across from reception at around midnight, this table had not been clean at least until 3-00pm the next day, there was no visible people in attendance to clean tables in general areas after guests had vacated the tables. Seemed to me if they actually had the staff they were off or on holiday. This was the dirtiest hotel Ive come across on all my travels. 5- The Spa which is included in the hotel name was of concern. we met guests coming back from the Spa who said it was good but the only problem was the Sauna and Steam room weren't working but they had been told it would be working the next day. The next day myself and my wife arrived at the Spa and when I enquired if all the facilities were in order was informed Sauna and Steam room were broken, I asked when they would be repaired and was informed around March. If I knew the Spa was broken before booking, I would certainly have never made the reservation. We had to book the Spa at another Hotel where they said numerous guests from the Geranious were doing the same. 6- Being Christmas the hotel was sparsely decorated with a lonely Christmas tree at reception being the hi- light of a largely bare hotel. Personally this was of little concern to me but numerous guests with children were not to happy. Very disappointed, I would ignore the positive reviews or you will regret it. There is far better value out there at a lower cost. I spoke to a local resident who said the hotel was very good at one time but that the standards had dropped. the Hotel did change its name, so I would imagine old hotel had the plaudits.
