Totally depressed today having flown home yesterday from our wonderful 10 night AI stay here. Short trip from airport would advise just grabbing a taxi outside as we paid for private transfer at €16 Euro each and the taxi was actually only about €12 in total. Travelled with husband and our 9 year old daughter. Easy quick check in at 10pm. A small selection of salad and fruit had been saved for us. Room had a beautiful side view of beach and over looked the shops. Rooms clean and very modern with small kitchen, great to have a fridge. Great balcony especially with the view. For our daughter who has autism dinner times can be a nightmare but we found that it didn't matter what time we ate we could always get a table and it never felt too overwhelming for her. Always a good selection of food especially breakfast, it does get a little repetitive after a while and the later into service the less there is obviously. Great selection of puddings. If you're veggie like me I found some of the labelling could have been better on the salads and rice dishes but always something to eat. Sangra on tap was nice, cocktails in bar definitely hit and miss. Smile pizza restaurant just outside is lovely and cheap, ate their one evening. Hotel clean and tidy, friendly maids came in everyday. All staff you meet very friendly. Was celebrating my 40th and when we arrived there was a bottle of champagne, small cakes and a letter wishing me a happy birthday which was lovely. Hotel, despite being busy was never too loud and hectic, even around the pools which is what we loved, really chilled place. Don't hear anything from the other suites once in your own suite either. The only negatives we found were that if we wanted to use the big pool you had to save beds at 7am which to us, setting alarms is no holiday. We used the smaller pool but it really needs updating, surfaces retiled, better sunbeds. We did have a dip in the larger pool but my daughter didn't like the fact she couldn't touch the bottom, shame the depth isn't gradual. They are saltwater. We prefer the beach anyway which is literally outside (2 Sunbeds and a shade for €10.50) being so close meant we could leave our towels ect there and go in for lunch/ snack/ toilet. It was great not being bothered by people selling tat too. Again very chilled vibe, only the noise of planes flying overhead and the music from one of the bars. Beach can be a little rough on the feet in places but our daughter found some amazing shells and enjoyed building her big castles everyday. If you go a little further to the right as you come out of the hotel there is also another lovely beach round the corner. No ice cream at snack bar included in AI which was a little disappointing. They do have a selection of ice creams to buy. Our daughter loved the little games room which has air hockey, ping pong, pool all about a Euro, ping pong free. There is a little bit of evening entertainment, again you could always get a seat and it wasn't too loud for her ( no big shows or disco etc) We really enjoyed sitting the the lobby having some drinks and playing cards together as a family. If you are after nightlife, hotel entertainment, party atmosphere this isn't the place for you bad shuts at 11pm but was so perfect for us. If like us you are after a quiet relaxing holiday with limited fuss or being bothered round the pool to join in or not bothered by all day children's entertainment this is perfect for you too.

Such a fantastic hotel, especially considering the price. The room was large and clean. The only thing it didn't have was a kettle but we were given one when requested (there's a fridge, microwave and hob). Excellent location, lovely beach right out front (lovely pools too). The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is varied and tasty - would highly recommend this as a place to stay.

This year i visited Geranios Suites as a family of four. I first arrived at about 12:00 loving the look and location of the hotel. However it took them till 3 o clock to allow us to check into our room. Our first meal was lunch and it was absolutely horrible. No variety of foods or enough selection. Small dinner hall and a minimum amount of staff, leaving us waiting for them to clean our table to eat. After finally arriving into our room the look of the room was very nice. Enough for us and the two kids (aged 11 and 12). Two rooms, a bathroom, a balcony with a pool and sea view and a mini kitchen. Going down to the pool it was awfully quiet. With only one entertainer for the kids. The pool area was like a ghost town, having no atmosphere of fun at all. The pools were salty which was annoying as we are used to chlorine. That was very off-putting. The dinner was also the same as the lunch. Horrible food and no selection. After seeing what was available for dinner we decided not to go all inclusive so the manager refunded us for the amount we paid for the AI option, so i would recommend b&b only. We ate out every night and the restaurant I highly recommend is Fado Rock Steak House. Staff are friendly and food is amazing. If I was to go back to Fuerteventura I would probably stay in the Barcelo Hotel or somewhere in Corralejo due to our trips we did.

We've stayed at this hotel for a week at the beginning of August. The location couldn't be better, it's only 10-minute drive from the airport or €13.50 after, whatever makes more sense for you. I'm aware there is also a bus that runs from the airport for less than €2 per person. It's just by the beach, in a kind of bay, which makes the fact that Fuerteventura is extremely windy a bit more bearable. The sea is very calm in that area making it ideal for children. However, we spent most of our time by the pool. It has a paddling pool and a larger pool that is much deeper. It never felt too crowded although you do need to "wrestle" for sun loungers every morning. It's not too bad, but most people would casually dropped their towels to reserve the sun loungers on the way to breakfast. The water is a bit on the cold side, but it didn't seem to be much of a problem. We chose the half-board option, although we've noticed that most people went for full-board. Breakfast and dinner were really good, with plenty of options that were changed every day (mainly for dinner as breakfast was more of a fixed menu). We never had to queue for any meal and there was plenty on offer. Rooms are perfect for families as there is a separate couple's bedroom and children sleep in a sofa bed in the living room. It's well equipped with 2 TVs, a kitchenette, a large bathroom with a separate toilet and a lovely large balcony. All clean and well maintained. Very pleasant. Very local to restaurants and even a small shopping area. There were some activities and animation, although we didn't join many of them. However, it all seemed well organised. There is a children's club and a nice softplay area. Luckily the music around the pool wasn't loud all the time. We've passed by other hotels were you could hear (and feel!) the music from miles away. There is a spa inside the hotel, but we didn't get the chance to visit it. I think it's €10 per person. We rented bicycles in a shop just behind the hotel. Very easy and enjoyable. Overall, I cannot fault this hotel at all. Staff is very kind, all sorted nicely and there is even cold water machines in the lobby (as tap water is not recommended). My children also enjoyed the games' area with ping-pong and pool tables. All easy peasy! Just as we wanted it! If you are after more action, there are plenty of day trips that can be booked in the lobby or even a car hire option.

Had a nice stay and the rooms were modern, large and clean. Only used restaurant for breakfast as it suited my son and it was OK but sometimes struggled for glasses, cutlery and plates. BUT please do not use their ATM for your money as on return i checked my account and was charged between £7.20 and £7.50 per withdrawal. Use the ones outside and it is only £1.50. Contacted the Hotel and was advised 'not their responsibility'.

Plusses Rooms are in fact okay very large and reasonable decor, Pool large but Boring and free food is laughably bad... Where can you relax? reception area? No that is just a load of cubes! Drinks single bar man or lady for hundreds of guests and very poor quality drinks... Entertainment... watch the show once you will either die laughing (at how poor it is) or fall into a deep depression that you are booked here for how long?

Stayed here for 2 wks in July.Hotel in a great location-close to everything you need-beach right in front of hotel-If you walk a few mins to the right there's nicer beaches.Bars and restaurants nearby.Shopping Centre a short stroll away.We were B+B-breakfast was very gd.lots of choice.hotel was busy but always got a table. We used the pool area-there's saltwater in pools.3 pools in total.plenty of loungers-ok if you there early but sometimes towels were left and ppl didn't use them for hrs.ok when pool quiet but can be annoying when you want to sunbathe+there's no other loungers! Hotel staff were v nice and friendly.Rooms were lovely-we had a junior suite with a pool view on 3rd floor.cleaned everyday and fresh towels were available everyday if you wanted them.I would return to this hotel if I was going to the area on holidays again 👍

Positives *Rooms are lovely, clean, modern and large enough for a family of 4 *Hotel in a great location *Entrance lovely *Snacks at pool bar edible Negatives *No clean tables in restaurant *Never any cutlery, plates or glasses *2 out of the 3 soft drink machines not working *Food doesn't cater of British or children *No where never enough staff for the amount of guests in the hotel in restaurant *Spa hotel that you need to pay extra to use? *Our door broke twice and wouldn't lock, double check when leaving your room that the door is definitely locked *No pool entertainment *Pool bar closes at 5.30 *Lift broke twice and my mother inlaw was in a wheel chair which meant she didn't leave her room on the last day unless she wanted to go through the kitchen to use the staff lift (fair enough she had that option but didn't want to have to call reception every time she wanted to leave the room) *POOL ABSOLUTELY FILTHY!! Especially the kids pool! Area round pool not cleaned or washed down at the end of the night. Cups lying about for days in the same place! I honestly didn't want my kids in the pool! Pools them selfs hadn't been cleaned in months if not years! Filter in kids pool was full on dirt as where is grills round the pool! This was eventually cleaned after we complained! We usually stay in 3* hotels that we have never had any complaints about but this definitely is not a 4* I think it has the 4* rating due to the rooms which we have no complaints about but everything else let it down! We will not be back!!!!!

Again reading some of the reviews about the hotel i was a bit concerned. Yet again l was more than happy with the with what l experienced be it the hotel or staff. We arrived after the restaurant had closed but we were told that there would be food for us when we had checked into our rooms. While we were unpacking reception rang us to check we were happy with them. In the restaurant there were prepared salads with bread and fruit. We were in two identical rooms and they were big. There was a lounge area with table, chairs and sofa along with a television. There was a separate kitchen accessed through a door with a two ring hob, fridge, extractor and cupboards along with basic utensils, cups and glasses. The room had its own air conditioning as did the bedroom. There were two entrances to the bathroom one fro the lounge and one from the bedroom both through doors. The balcony could be reached from either the lounge or bedroom. The latter also contained a television and a FREE safety deposit box. There was free wifi. The dining room was spacious and there was good choice of food. The staff in the hotel were nothing short of superb, very friendly an helpful and only added to the great experience we had. From the pool bar, lounge bar, restaurant to reception the staff were fantastic, special thanks to Marta for all her help. The hotel also has a gym and spa but l did not use those, there was also three pools with a Lifeguard. Located next to the beach separated by a walk way there are also snack bars a hire shops for bikes, electric and pedal and a shop all either adjacent to the hotel itself which was only a 5-10 minute walk to the town if you wanted to venture out. There is a bar at the front of the hotel which sold branded drinks at a discount if you were staying all inclusive. l cannot wait to go back.

We enjoyed our 12 day stay, there was great food choice, the rooms are spacious. Staff are helpful and friendly, the hotel is right on the beach. Caletta is a lovely resort as we have been before, lots of lovely restaurants, bars and shopping facilities with a market twice per week also. We would stay in the hotel again but during our stay the evening entertainment was not great and long bar q with generally 1 bar staff on
