Very bad

I loved the beauty, peaceful scenery and quiet surroundings. It was relaxing. Rooms and grounds were very clean. Staff was helpful and friendly. Temperature of food was inconsistent, but there was a great variety and good taste. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and willing to return.

The resorts in Freeport are still recovering from the hurricane, so my expectations were modest. I was relieved that the property was in good condition and well maintained. The staff were mostly friendly and helpful, but the restaurant service was very hit or miss (one evening meal we were almost completely ignored). The room as clean, very large and everything worked. The food was somewhat of a disappointment - very limited selection and again hit or miss on quality and preparation. The breakfast buffet was excellent, though - especially the omlette station. The delightful straw market is an easy walk from the resort. Overall, it was a pleasant getaway from winter weather.

The staff was outstanding! So friendly and helpful!

The staff is very “blah”, this is a resort, smile for gods sake. All inclusive is a joke, draft beer, no bottle beer unless I purchased it. Property needs major updating. Very disappointed

Hotel on the beach. The staff did a great job of clearing seaweed. Most of the staff were rude.I noticed they were more inclined to take orders at the restaurants from people with "day passes" than all inclusive customers. The check in process was lengthy and antiquated. The property itself is in need of updating. The food was par for buffet food with not much selection. I don't understand the inconvenience of having to sign for every drink and meal when we had to wear all-inclusive bands. The lines for food/dr8nks were long, the waits were long, the food was average, and then we had to wait again to sign a receipt (every single time we got food or drink).Overall, this property lacks consistency in service, most of the staff were rude and unhelpful, it needs some cosmetic updating and facility maintenance, and housekeeping was inconsistent. There was often shortages of face cloths, hamd towels, etc.

The service at the restaurant was really bad, the women are badly educated, the only one nice and polite was the manager. The day of our departure we were not allowed to have lunch at the all -inclusive, when all-inclusive places allow you to have lunch before leaving

It is a lovely resort beautiful beach. Hotel was comfortable, staff was friendly. Only thing you have to wait at Waves bar to get a drink, they ignore you.

Cleaning staff and bellboys—Great Servers —awful—Rude It seemed it was a burden to get our food and drinks we where inclusive so they only attended non- inclusive guest better due to tips Place had no entertainment

THE POOL IS VERY NICE, HOWEVER THE AMOUNT OF SEAGULLS ARE VERY DISTURBING FOR ANYONE WHO IS AFRAID OF BIG BIRDS. THEY WERE EXTREMELY LOUD AND THEY POOPED ON MY NOOK, OUR TOWELS AND OUR CHAIRS. THE FOOD AT THE SUNDECK BAR WAS VERY GOOD, AND THE DRINKS WERE VERRRRRY GOOD!! THE BARTENDERS WERE VERY PLEASANT AND FUN. THE FIRST MORNING DURING OUR STAY THERE WAS NO FOOD IN PRACTICALLY ALL THE CHAFFING DISHES. I HAD TO ASK THE HOSTESS IF THEY WERE GOING TO HAVE ANYMORE FOOD BECAUSE WE WERE STARVING AND EVERYTHING WAS GONE! IT SEEMED AS THOUGH THEY WERE NOT PLEASED ABOUT ME INQUIRING ABOUT THE FOOD. THE STEAK RESTAURANT WAS DELICIOUS AND WENT THERE TWICE DURING OUR FOUR NIGHT STAY. LOVED THE CRAB CAKES AND THE STEAK. MY DAUGHTER LOVED THE CORN CHOWDER. AND THE CAESAR SALAD WITH CHICKEN WAS DELICIOUS. MY DAUGHTER LOVED LUC - THE DJ! HE WAS ENTERTAINING AND NOT ONLY GOT HER AND HER FRIEND TO GET UP AND DANCE BUT ALSO ME AND MY FRIEND, WHICH CAUSED A LOT OF PEOPLE TO GET UP AND DANCE. HE TAUGHT US DANCE STEPS AND WE HAD A BLAST. GIVE HIM A BIG RAISE!!! THE ONLY COMPLAINT I HAD WAS THAT OUR AC DIED ON US LEAVING OUR ROOM 82 DEGREES FOR HOURS. WE WERE SUNBURNED AND IN PAIN. THE ROOM WAS SO UNCOMFORTABLE AND IT FREAKED ME OUT TO THINK I WOULD HAVE TO SLEEP IN SUCH A WARM ROOM. WE STAYED OUT OF THE ROOM UNTIL AFTER 11 PM, AND THANKFULLY IT WAS FIXED BY THE TIME WE RETURNED BACK TO THE ROOM AND WE WERE ABLE TO SLEEP VERY COMFORTABLY.

The room was great. The property overall is beautiful. The only real let down was the lack of quality of food in the "upscale" expensive restaurant. Ordered two different meals there and they both were so disgusting I couldn't finish them. Also, the waitress had an attitude with me when I questioned her about my meal. Skip this horrible restaurant and go get another pizza - Yum!!

STAY WAS GOOD,BUT THE HOTEL WAS NOT WHAT WE EXPECTED,NEED SOME UPDATES AND SERVERS ARE NOT FRIENDLY AT ALL EXCEPT 2 O 3

Overall experience at the resort was disappointing. Hotel employees were amazing- very friendly and helpful. The food and drinks were also very good. The worst part of the stay was the condition of the resort- we had no ac for two full days which made it almost impossible to sleep at night. Apparently this is a recurring issue at the resort occurring to one of the longtime employees there. Also only half of the resort is open due to the damage of last years hurricane.

Stayed six nights at Lighthouse Pointe with my wife. Room 258 King Bed with a Ocean view, really nice view btw. Truthfully I was worried about the recent bad reviews after booking this trip. I can say to you overall it was a great experience. To the prior reviewers, goodness, give the staff here a break. It does get a little busy when the Cruise Ship crowd comes in and that demand bogs down the service. Just be patient and pleasant and you will be treated well. Well worth the all inclusive rate. Buffet food is pretty good and can't beat nearly all day access to beer and cocktails. Nothing like sipping a few Bahama Mamas and some of the local beer on the beach. Tip you cheap skates. Few lessons learned that might help ya. - No problem getting a ride from the airport, 22 bucks and about 10 mins - You can get a taxi real quick via the bellhop and the rates are posted right there. - We booked a tour through Orbitz and it got canceled last minute, my wife and I were the only ones booked for it. Just book your activity with someone in person so you know whats actually available and going on that day for sure. - We didn't have cell service, so be sure to leave a note to your loved one if you decide to sneak out for a few drinks. Saves you from creating a scene :) when they wake up and don't find you around. - If you like fishing check out Lil B's sport fishing, father son duo that are good folks. - Take your sea sick pills or whatever you need to do. - Relax

Due to the hurricane that came through in October, our original hotel reservation at Memories was moved to Lighthouse Pointe. The staff seemed super annoyed to do anything that was requested. Housekeeping, however was more outgoing.

People were HORRIBLE! Not one staff member in 6 days came to ask if I needed anything or cleared any dishes. Yet 3-4 staff people sat by the outside bar/grill and chatted and played on their phones. There were only about 5 or so families staying at the hotel. This was an all-inclusive resort, yet breakfast closed at 11 and there was nothing but a burger at the bar and grill until 6 PM and then from 6 to 10 you could have a dinner with three or four selections of main dishes. We had to pay $800 fee for this all-inclusive hotel because the viva Wyndham Fortuna was closed because of the hurricane. We had stayed there in the past and it was absolutely lovely! I would never recommend this hotel to anyone! My daughter asked for a pop and then wanted a second choice of pop and the woman nastily said make all your choices at the same time! That was rude and unacceptable!

The hotel is very well located, not so far from airport. The beach of the hotel is beatiful. Regardinng the hotel, it needs maintenance and a little love. You can see details of not so clean floors, the elevator in the area we stayed at, had stains. Also the bar near the pool-beach closes at 5pm, it is too early considering that in September the sun sets at 7pm. The restaurants are not open all days and Willy Broadleaf the service is too slow. The breakfast buffet has the same food everyday, but still you can order an omelette or scramble eggs. Not all the personnel is friendly, not like you can find in Punta Cana or Cancun. Still the hotel has a lot of potential, and the beach is beautiful.
